My first helping of the Spacago pizza.
    Brian B.

I like their pizzas. Especially their Chicago pizzas. You would look at it and tell, yeah, this is a decent Chicago-style DEEP dish pizza. You would recognize it as true to the style. BUT... I would stick with regular Chicago pizzas. I recently tried the Spacago pizza and it was, candidly, a bit underwhelming. On paper, this should be an awesome idea. Deep dish pizza, spaghetti and meatballs packed into it, cheese on top. What could possibly NOT work? Well, except, I gotta say it was just a bit bland. The sauce they used for that one desperately needed some salt and pepper. Pasta was a bit subdued too. While I like the other ones they make, this is one I might pass on next time. Some might like the wings, but they could have used a bit of a crisp. They missed that, even though it looks as though they go through the super-hot pizza oven. The other pizza styles are good. I've tried those too. The place has a good spacious dining room.

I got to try the MVP personal pizza tonight! This month's special is a pulled pork pie, it comes with a zesty coleslaw condiment but I asked for it on the side just me I did a slice with everything on it and if you want the authentic pulled pork experience then go for it, this coleslaw has a spicy almost hot component it's good but I preferred the pizza without. Pretty standard crust with lightly smoked pulled pork that get mixed a sweet tangy BBQ sauce which gets topped with cheese! I really enjoyed the flavor. Now this is only available for a month but hopefully it becomes one of the rotating MVPs.

The pizza and breadsticks were delicious and delivered promptly! We are visiting the area and would order from them again.

My wife and I decided to try MLP out mainly because she is GF and they have that as an option. Both our pizzas were great. We visited on a Sunday night at 7. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, the service was kind of lackluster. They seemed busy, probably with delivery?

Cute pizza place right in the heart of Everett. Being a baseball fan, I loved the baseball ambiance yet overall non pretentiousness of the place. Great place to eat right before taking in a performance at the Everett Historic Theater (it's about a block away) or a five minute drive from the Everett AquasSox minor league baseball team. I'm super stoked that they have a solid vegan option. I found the vegan cheese left a little bit to be desired in the consistency but my girlfriend didn't have any issues with it so, your mileage will undoubtedly vary.

Amazing Chicago style pizza! Major fan. I haven't ate at the restaurant, usually do take out but very friendly and helpful. Looks like a great place to take large gatherings as they also have a massive pizza pie

(gotta climb in the Wayback Machine for that gem!) I loved that I saw at least six versions of my childhood dining room table, which felt so nostalgically comfortable that I wanted to crawl under one with my coloring books and my chocolate milk. But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. The tomato soup is really amazing -- so fresh tasting and delicious. But the sandwich was next level nom-ness. I opted to get it on sourdough because it's the best for dunking into the soup. It definitely worked on me - usually specials are relegated to a small corner of the menu, but here they are front and center. I couldn't resist and so I got the Pot Roast Dip. It's a sandwich that has a good amount of pot roast, some bacon jam that's glued together with provolone and Swiss cheese all on a Giuseppe roll (From Macrina Bakery? It's a crust roll). The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again! Their bathrooms are shared with the rest of the building - the code is at the cashiers. The wifi password is right next to it too. You grab a menu, wait in line to order, and then they bring your food to you. Bus your own table when you're done. Solid spot.

We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.

But the kitchen is doing a ton of great things from scratch and the menu is huge. It's way more than just a corner Mexican spot. In long The ratings have been high forever and we've been wanting to try it for at least a year. Finally found ourselves with the right amount of time in the right location yesterday. We caught them after the lunch rush, and dude was super nice to come out and hold the door so I could wheel my bride in. There are a few flatscreens up, and in back there are single-occupant washrooms. It's not a big room, but it's festive and they clearly have regulars, judging by the warm greetings are a couple more tables filled up. We had our pick of tables and we settled in to go over the hugely long menus. Do you want something familiar or something fewer places offer? The kitchen runs the gamut here. You get fresh, light chips on the table with some delicious scratch salsa that even packs a bit of heat. We finally settled on pozole and tacos al carbon. They bring out avocado salsa and pineapple salsa, which both add a ton of good flavor. The red table salsa is where the heat is, though. The tacos were delicious, tons of juicy chopped steak inside. I went with this overly-safe pick and didn't regret it at all. The pozole was incredible, lots of real bone stewed in with the meat, tons of great flavor in the broth and super soft, tender, flavorful pork. Lots of tasty condiments. Beautifully homey and comforting soup to warm your bones on a cold wet day. We took more than half of it home--very generous portion. We also checked out a margarita and a mai tai, and both were excellent. You really have to try the food here to get the full effect of how good it is. You can kinda tell the kitchen is ambitious by reading the menu online, and that's promising for sure. But all those house-made scratch touched throughout every subrecipe will exceed even high expectations like ours. Great place, and we're dumb for taking so long to try it.
