Crunchiado roll is officially my favorite roll here- avocado with crunchy tempura flakes makes for the perfect combination of crunchiness and smooth avocado texture and flavor. California roll is always my go-to for sushi cravings, and theirs is made very well with quality ingredients. I appreciate that they do not skimp on the avocado slice like other places do (can you tell I'm partial to avo?) I like how you can order roll "sets" of 1, 1.5, or 2. don't quote me on exact numbers, but for example, if you order 1, you get six rolls if you order 1.5 you get nine rolls if you order 2 you get 12 rolls, etc.. . Rice ratios are perfectly balanced. They do not over- stuff with rice. As for service, I ordered online for pick up. Rolls were ready very quickly. I can't really comment on ambience since I sent daughter to retrieve food and I did not have opportunity to dine there. Pricing was excellent. Compared to sushi rolls you get at Kroger, buying here is actually cheaper! As far as quality, I would prefer purchasing from here versus Kroger. I got a caterpillar plus roll and a California roll. California roll was good, exactly what you would expect so I was happy with that. But the Caterpillar plus roll was crazy good. I was very suspicious of it at first because it had some sauce on top of it, but after eating the whole thing in about 2 minutes I can safely say that the sauce is good and the whole roll is even better. Just meh. The rolls lacked pizzazz or zip. They were very bland and very loosely rolled. They fell apart when grabbing them with chopsticks. The salmon filet was pulled out of a freezer, and then i heard the beeping of a microwave to defrost it. I guess that's what you might expect in the middle of Indiana. Moving to Indiana from California, I am always dubious of the sushi. I have a favorite sushi place near the Indy airport, and now I have a favorite sushi place just blocks from my house in Bloomington. Thank you Majé! Ordered lunch to go today for the first time. We ordered Rainbow Roll, California Plus Roll, Inari Roll and Hoosier Roll. We especially appreciated that they are honest about fake crab. So many sushi places do not mention that it is fake crab meat on their menu. All of the rolls were delicious. The flavor was good and the fish was fresh. The rolls themselves could have been a bit more neat and rolled a bit tighter, but for Midwest sushi we thought it was good. They give you a good amount of wasabi and ginger with your order too, which is nice. We will definitely be ordering again. read more

I love Maje sushi. It's the best sushi place in town, in my opinion. I order from here about twice a month. I love to order their sushi on Grubhub. It's usually done in about 10-20 minutes. I just walk in and quickly grab my order off the counter since I paid on grubhub! It's so simple! I always order the orange dragon roll and the red dragon roll. It's tasty and fresh! Maje makes good sushi that is fresh, clean, and tasty; I have come here multiple times and the quality is consistent. I prefer simple sushi--nothing fried, no cream cheese, no thick sauces. They do offer that stuff, but they also do basic sushi well. It's fresh, clean, and tasty. This is the only sushi in Indiana I've wanted to eat again. read more
