I made my own bowl. The ingredients are fresh and everything is flavorful. Great customer service as well. Brisket was my proforma choice.

Even though this isn't the location, I still had to write this long-over-due review. He ordered us both the Sylvester's steak platter with rice and salad. It was love at first bite! The steak strip was tender and juicy cooked to perfection, which was layed over a bed of garden vegeatble rice(my new favorite!) It is accompanied by a side of spring salad with a slice of tomato(wish they would use cherry tomatoes instead of plum), a slice of cucumber, and a lime wedge. It also comes with a side of ranch dressing. You definitly get your money's worth. The portion size is a big heaping helping and certainly, a certified belly buster! Ever since that day, I have been a a faithful customer returning frequently and always have a more than satisfying delicious meal! This is by far the best chain restaurant to go to when looking for a low cost, but high quality, meal. To avoid waiting for your food, as it is made fresh to order, I suggest calling in ahead of time. A steak dinner for 10 bucks?!?! Sing to me Paolo, this is what dreams are made of!!!

The fish wasn't fried golden brown the oil appeared to be old. To my surprise the portion of the sides were really large. Both fish combos included fries (no salt); one had green beans and the other spicy cabbage. The fries were not golden brown but dark brown, again the oil probably needed to be changed. The green beans were okay but cabbage was too spicy for us.

They had the current FIFA soccer game playing so of course we watched while we ate. Our server said they were staying open later than normal to cater for the US Soccer game later tonight. Pretty awesome! The food, I had the chicken taco salad, it was delicious. It came with a dressing that honestly wasn't needed at all. We also had the beef chimichanga. This is why only four stars. The burrito was toasted on the griddle not deep fried like it's supposed to be. Otherwise it was delicious!

You get a shot of tequila after you advise you're ready to pack up and go. (This was a very unique feature) Cons: The food was very bland. I'm not too big on saying someone's seasoning was bland because we all have different palates, but compared to the other experiences I have had with Latin food, this fell very short. I felt like the frozen margarita was very overpriced. $27 and was not the slightest bit buzzed by the end of it (very lightweight drinker). Animals aren't controlled. While sitting outside patrons with dogs were allowed to have heir dogs sniff and come close to other people. But, all in all, a very middle of the mark experience.

It hasn't really bounced back just yet. But I also feel like we are in a bubble too. Our street looks vacant, but once you walk to one end of the block or other, the opportunities are within sight. I have seen this place when I have had the pleasure to drive into work. However, it's not an establishment that I would walk to for lunch. DC blocks can be super long to walk and it can take a while to cross the busy streets. With our event coming up I figured why not. We went with the 40 Person Package from their catering menu. I think they under-describe this. It states it is for 40 people, but the amount of food you receive can easily feed more than that. Especially when it comes with four full pan sized side dishes. Definitely enough food to feed a crew and have leftovers. For our sides we went with White Rice, Plantains, Mashed Potatoes, and House Salad. All the food was received well by our crew and they were pleased to be able to partake in what was left after the meal was done. The White Rice comes with peas and carrots right in it. The Plantains are fried perfectly. Mashed Potatoes were velvety (sadly they appear to have taken them off the menu since we ordered). And the House Salad was a light side to rest of the rich food. What was over the top here was the delivery of the food. This was two weeks post snowstorm and the streets of DC were still mini mountains to climb. Our delivery person was amazing with the delivery. He, however, had the mishap of the mashed potatoes deciding to ditch before being delivered. He was very apologetic, cleaned it off the sidewalk outside, and went back to the restaurant to bring a fresh tray. That is superb service in my mind.

The Brussel sprouts were slight sweetened by the addition of carrots which really offset the bitterness you sometimes get with such a dish. Excellent idea!
