I am posting this as an update because the situation has become even more disappointing…read more We originally hired this company for a move-out cleaning. Unfortunately, the cleaning was incomplete, and we were also disappointed by the communication and professionalism during the service. After we posted our original review, the company publicly acknowledged our concerns, apologized, and promised us a full $280 refund. They also offered a complimentary re-clean, which we declined because we had already cleaned the apartment ourselves. We accepted the promised refund in good faith. The company had already cashed our $280 check for the cleaning service. We could have placed a stop payment on the check, but we trusted the company's written commitment that they would issue a full refund. Unfortunately, the refund was never issued. We have followed up multiple times by phone and email, but the company has ignored our calls and stopped responding to our emails. What is especially disappointing is that the company publicly acknowledged the problem and made a clear promise to refund our money, but then stopped communicating with us after receiving and cashing our payment. We are still waiting for the $280 refund that was promised to us. We simply expect the company to honor its written commitment and return the money they agreed to refund. I am sharing this update so other customers can make an informed decision. If the refund is eventually received, I will update this review accordingly.

Espinal Cleaning contacted me quickly, asked a few questions about the space and had a few dates available. They sent me an invitation once date was confirmed, arrived 10 mins early and Yeny proceeded to clean without much instruction. Now I will say that my house is tidy. Dusty due to me living right off 395 but not unclean nor with things strewn about. However, I have 3 floors with 3 bathrooms and a bit of floor space and rugs that had to be vacuumed and mirror:glass that needed cleaning. They also dusted the blinds and baseboards. The rate was quite reasonable and everything was very much done to my liking. I can actually afford to use them every 6-8 weeks. I love that even more since the other rates I received would be more like once a year and special occasions.

Despite the fact that adding our house (in Alexandria) to their rotation of clients mainly in Arlington had its logistical challenges, they have not let that interfere with providing timely service. These reminders are perfect to help us deconflict with our busy family schedule (and to remind us to straighten up before their arrival!). When it comes to the cleaning, their work is thorough and spotless. The first thing I see when I get home is the gleaming kitchen sink!!
