I routinely meet here with people to sit and talk. It is one of my favorite places in SoPines to do that. Their baked goods are to die for FYI. read more

Good coffee. They use Black and White Coffee Roasters beans. Got an iced latte and a cold brew, both solid. The seasonal drink list is the best part -- strawberry, honey mint, cold foam options, and house-made syrups like vanilla, orange cardamom, brown sugar cinnamon, and lavender. Nice range if you want something different each visit. Pastry selection is limited, so don't come hungry. Casual space with plenty of seating, wifi, and some local merch. read more

This place was ranked high for Southern Pines so had to give it a try - the barista was super sweet and let me try a bit of the brown butter rosemary syrup before ordering to make sure I enjoyed it and it was incredible! I wish they'd consider selling it so we can make lattes at home as a non-local lol. Only reason it's getting 4 stars out of 5 is because they were pretty much out of all pastries/desserts by 2pm and I was looking forward to ordering some for the drive back. Would stop by again though! read more

I'm going to try to not let my overall dissatisfaction ruin the review. I wanted to like this place. I had visions in my mind of a cozy, French-style interior with soft jazzy music and nice coffee aromas. It was lacking. The shrill of kids playing, the rather featureless inside. No music. The coffee itself didn't do much for me, I could get better at Starbucks. So to say something positive, we didn't have a problem finding a place to sit on a Saturday at noon. It is a great location in So Pines so I think they can be better. I guess if you have kids it is a good place for them. I can't think of anything more positive so I eliminated one of my negative opinions. Giving it a 3/5 seems fair. YMMV. As an aside, I wish we could get a Dutch Bros coffee somewhere here..... read more

Cute shop. Omg the croissants are so good. I didn't try the coffee. Good parking in the morning.

They serve Black & White coffee beans out of Raleigh for their drip & other coffee drinks. The service was friendly, helpful & quick too. I discovered a matcha in here that I got for my daughter that is also made in Raleigh. Quaint coffee shop with some local made crafts for sale & some baked goods too!! I'll be back! read more

Just visited this establishment for the first time this morning and had a business meeting there. I'll start with the good stuff; the selection of coffee drinks was exceptional and what I ordered was a cold brew lavender cloud kind of a thing which was extraordinary! I also had one of the vegan coffee cakes, which was absolutely a five star rating. Delicious and moist and full of flavor. Also packed with fruit! The reason for the three star rating, every mom with a new baby or a toddler - or both! - was in here at the same time and the noise level was deafening! I know they can't pick and choose who comes in, but like me, if you want to meet an adult colleague and discuss something, this is not the place to be. The people sitting next to me l, and around me, had a toddler and an infant and every 15 seconds the child was throwing something down by my feet with the mom and grandma reaching down to pick up this toy 20 to 30 times nonstop. I would likely not returned early in the day But more lucky to come back "during nap time" if you get my drift A beautiful place, but sadly more like a romper room than a place to enjoy an adult beverage and have an adult conversation read more

Maisonette is one of our favorite spots -- warm, welcoming, and consistently excellent service. The baked goods are a standout; we've loved the curry quiche, scones, croissants, and cookies. The only miss was the matcha, which could be improved by better mixing before adding it to cold milk. Still, we love coming here and always look forward to our next visit. read more

Best latte in the county (I think I've tried them all, if local coffee shopping can be a hobby) Conveniently located in the quaint shopping district of Downtown Southern Pines, Maisonette keeps an artfully curated seasonal menu of coffee, tea and comfort! What sets them above the rest are the locally made syrups, melt in your mouth pastries and the warmest vibe. Attention to detail is obvious in the food, drink, decor, and importantly as a mom, kid friendliness! You'll find juice boxes snacks and a play barista area for the littles. So please, do yourself a favor, forgo the drive through line at Star****s and visit this gold mine of a cafe. You won't regret it! read more

Love from this coffee lover! We are new to the area but gravitated almost immediately to the chill vibe of Maisonette. And - the coffee is amazing. My test for all coffee spots is the cappuccino. Can they do it all? Smooth, fully bloomed coffee taste YES. Milk steamed to the perfect sip-right-now temp YES Perfectly baked butter cookie (included) with just a hint of salt YES. Baristas are as nice as can be, too. Best coffee experience in the area. Thank you! read more

This place is so cute! We got a variety of coffees including maple, vanilla, and brown sugar cinnamon. All were delicious!

Maisonette is an absolute gem in our sweet town! Still under construction but the coffee is delicious, the vibes are welcoming and the snacks are addicting! Meticulously made espresso and Homemade syrups ensure each drink is perfect. I cannot wait for this cafe to be fully operational but until then make sure to grab the baked goods in the display from other local makers. read more

Sustains: -greeted upon entering Improves: -overall ambiance is lacking. Feels like a diner, more than a cozy coffeeshop -coffee suggestions were lacking. Team members should be able and willing to suggest coffee options to patrons who want to try new things. -Coffee itself was a bit lacking. I think continued barista education and exposure to established baristas would be beneficial. Overall, we're hopeful that this will blossom into a shop that's bustling and inciting, with quality drinks offered. read more

I can't drink coffee but that hot chocolate is amazing. They bake all the food in house and there are gluten free options. Plenty of seating. A (small) play area for kids. The folks really know what they are doing everything has a fine attention to detail. read more

My absolute favorite coffee shop in the area. Cozy welcoming atmosphere, kids play area, plenty of parking and seating, the owner is a gem. They have a wide variety of fresh pastries, desserts, etc daily and it's different every day, so I look forward to trying something new each time. And the coffee is the best. Their drinks are never too milky or syrup-y, they're really well balanced, smooth, and delicious. 10/10 recommend. read more
