The cost during the summer is around $1,600 including taxes and an additional amount ($20/day per person) for guests.

Breakfast was hit or miss depending on what you ordered. The eggs in my eggs benedict were overdone, which was a bummer. Prices are high, but that is expected of Door County. The Inn itself could really use an update. It's stuck in the 90s, and not in a charming way. Everyone who worked there was nice. I think we'd return to have dinner, but I wouldn't stay here again (despite the really good cookies you get).

I wish there was a way to turn off the outside light, it never gets completely dark inside at night. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it. It was mostly quiet and comfortable.

I added a few water birbs to my life list by walking along the shore right across from the motel. The check-in process was extremely smooth, and they were very communicative throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, super cute, and had all the little bonus amenities that one may need for a weekend getaway - mini fridge, microwave, etc. Our rooms were on the second floor and had little balconies with Adirondack chairs which we enjoyed. And now the best part - the bed. The bed and pillows were some of the comfiest I have ever slept on. My friend took pictures of the pillow tags because we were both amazed at how terrific we slept and how cozy the sleeping situation was. This was my first time in Door Co. and a terrific experience. I cannot wait to return to Spruce and Shore.

When I asked for additional photos on the property, Connie decided that she couldn't serve my needs so she would no longer be working with me, even though I have excellent credit, am prequalified for a loan and seriously looking.
