Egg harbor lodge is a wonderful place to come and relax! It's no kids policy is a big attraction for me. It's has a wonderful view and a peaceful setting. The grounds are well manicured and feature a tennis court and golf pitch area. The pool is set overlooking the water view and it has an indoor hot tub to soak in. The rooms are fairly basic but spacious and well kept. The owners are wonderful too. Always welcoming! This was my third stay and already booked for next year!

This is why we have come back for 8 years in a row.

First came here in 2011. We knew right away it is where we wanted to stay and come back to. Sarah and Mark are great. Now like family. We since have moved to Lehi Utah last August. Far away, but because we have always spent our anniversary here, we are coming back this May to celebrate our 46th. This place and Egg Harbor are like our second home. If you have never been here, please look at the view!. Meet the owners, and see what peace and tranquillity are all about. This is the place!

I just want to send an update to my review as we stayed here again this year. Different time of the year so the only difference was we got to take advantage of the pool and instead of cider in the office they had coffee. I really love this place. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and extremely helpful. She even mailed my charger that I left in the room. See you next year egg harbor lodge!

We stopped to look at the sunset and this was right across from us. We stopped in, they had a room with a balcony over looking Egg harbor on Green Bay and a beautiful sunset. The room is simple but well done, nice beds and sheets. And they were so nice at check-in. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is - I don't know - the carpet could be changed (a little dirty) but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. It really is lovely.

The weekend I went also happened to be the Fall 50 marathon so places were booked up. Alpine was offering their off-season rates for their club house rooms (on the golf course, pretty remote but a close walk into town). I paid $175/night (normally $300+) for a king room overlooking the course. There is a 3 night minimum but I got the sense that if they aren't too busy, they're flexible on that. The pictures online don't do it justice, it's quaint and comfortable. On the weekends they put out fresh cookies and extra coffee. It was perfect for what I needed: some relaxation in between hikes and strolls through various Door County harbor towns. It's about a 20-30 min walk into the Main Street of Egg Harbor. While I was there, the restaurant in the club house was not open but it will be open Nov. 1 through the winter, which will be a nice option if it's super cold and you want to grab a quick dinner without going far. I had a great time!

We had a nice room overlooking the golf course. This is a separate building from the resort main hotel & cabins, and is newly & stylishly furnished. Free coffee and refrigerator and rooms. Good location & access to rest of town. Five stars for great service, specifically Davante. They offer a free black car shuttle for guests, up to 5 miles from the resort. Davante, the shuttle driver, did a superb job. He was helpful, with good tips about the area. He communicated well about timing for pick-up and drop off. The shuttle is especially nice when you want to go to dinner and enjoy a few cocktails without worrying about driving home to the hotel. They should give Davante a raise, considering the number of negative other reviews on the resort. We had an opposite experience! Extra bonus points for having fire pits and a bar downstairs in the Clubhouse. This is a shared amenity with the golf club, but enjoyable nevertheless. We were even provided a s'mores kit upon request, and spent a bit of a lovely evening by the fire pits. Make sure to ask for the Clubhouse when booking!

Being on the lake is a bonus but in February the point is moot. It was very strange that coffee was not included with the room, but I was told it could be found in the vending machine! This was a major diss satisfier as the hotel lobby. Coffee was very watery and not drinkable for me. We were quite a large party, and it had a nice space for setting up our food up in a loft area above the lobby. Nice pool and whirlpool but with an early checkout time of 10 AM we didn't get to partake. That was disappointing. Asked for a late check out and was given an extra 30 minutes lol this one and done for me.

It is quite spacious, moreso than what some pictures indicate. It's pretty modest, some basic utensils in the kitchen, small electric stove, microwave, sleeper sofa, etc. The TV is very small and old, we ended up watching movies on our computer. Overall the room was dated but pretty clean. Water pressure could be a little better. The heat got hot pretty quick, which is nice in the middle of a Wisconsin winter. If you are in town and spending a lot of your time exploring Door County, this is a nice home base. Excellent location with a few shops and restaurants in walking distance. Check out the Big Easy for breakfast, it's immediately next to the resort. We tried to walk to the Main Street Shops Saturday afternoon but they were all closed. Much of the town is seasonal and we had trouble with places being closed down or shortened hours. The pool was was indoor and they have a heated jacuzzi. I couldn't spend much time in there because the chemicals were making me cough, but my boyfriend enjoyed this amenity. There is no fitness center. Front desk offers free coffee and you can apparently take games to borrow from them, too. We would come back and stay here, it was definitely a reasonable price. However, we probably don't recommend Door County in the dead of winter.

One of my favorite features was the beautiful network of walking paths throughout the property. They made it easy to get outside, enjoy the scenery, and explore the grounds at a relaxed pace. The fitness center was clean, convenient, and had everything I needed to maintain my routine while traveling. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the outstanding customer service. Every request or question I had was met with friendly communication, genuine care, and prompt attention. Whenever I needed assistance, it was addressed immediately and professionally. A special thank you to Emily, Matthew, the maintenance team, and everyone at the Landmark Resort for going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. The master bedroom is massive, the kitchen fully stocked (as with all Wyndhams), but for us the best feature is the enclosed, heated patio with a comfy 4-chairs/table set. It leads to an outdoor deck with a Weber grill. The Recreation Center has a good sized heated pool indoors and outdoor hot tub. You can rent cross country ski equipment or ice skates for outdoor Winter activities. The townhouses are truly young-family-friendly as evidenced by the high chair and booster seat in the front closet. Little Sweden is in Fish Creek, WI, a very cute touristy town. We enjoyed shopping and even attending a local church service on Sunday. For the Summer, we look forward to boating and fishing. We hope to return in the Summer.

We stayed at The Shallows for three nights in October 2024, and the resort is still wonderful under the new owners. Unfortunately, staying at The Shallows now comes with rules - no daily housekeeping service, leave dirty towels outside our door, and receive new towels that are crawling with mosquitoes and bugs. Also, empty our own trash at the dumpster if we don't put the garbage can outside the door by 10:00am, and make your own bed. This was supposed to be a nice get-away weekend where we don't have to worry about housekeeping. While we understand that some things have changed since Covid, we don't expect to pay $200 a night to clean our own room and remove dirty towels and garbage - not our idea of a vacation. We've stayed in many motels and hotels since the Covid pandemic and have always had daily housekeeping. Unfortunately we will not be staying at The Shallows again. The "new rules" should be stated on the web site, and they are not - very misleading. We, and our friends who join us each summer, will not be returning to The Shallows.

Maybe a new staff member for the summer. The room had that quaint, countryside feel. It does have a musky scent when you first walk into the room. Once you're in there for a couple of mins you don't notice it anymore. Everything was very clean with the exception of the tub in the bathroom that had some hairs left behind by the former guest and some microscopic bugs by the sink. It was great having a full fridge and microwave which I used both. No stove or oven so keep that in mind. The temp in the room was great and can be changed whenever you want. The bathroom has small vials of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bath/body gel - keep that in mind cause I'm always used to hotels having a huge refillable container of all those products. The TV is a regular tv with local and national channels. No logging into different streaming platforms if that's your thing. The Pool - spent a little amount of time there. The temp of the heated pool was great. Towels are available at the pool. The recliners aren't the most comfortable for a position to read but I made do. Parking - lots of parking. You'll register your car with the front desk. The only comment on this is that they need desperately to redo the lines in the parking lot cause it was hard to tell if they were specific spaces at all.
