There was a large bathroom with a shower and a beautiful whirlpool bath. It had all the comforts of home. The staff was very friendly. We were served a complementary breakfast brought to our door every day with our choice of menu items. The long time owners and proprietor chose to enjoy a very well deserved retirement this past year with a sale of the property. We unknowingly were aware that the entire property will be razed in a few months. This decision led to no updates, maintenance and failed pool accommodations. We were told some people still have reservations for the end of season so hopefully management will honor those with increased service and staff access. Great place being pushed out for more condos and removing affordable accommodations in the Door county region. We wish them success as we were told it's not in our price range. Nice pool and whirlpool but with an early checkout time of 10 AM we didn't get to partake. That was disappointing. Overall the room was dated but pretty clean. Water pressure could be a little better. The heat got hot pretty quick, which is nice in the middle of a Wisconsin winter. If you are in town and spending a lot of your time exploring Door County, this is a nice home base. Excellent location with a few shops and restaurants in walking distance. Check out the Big Easy for breakfast, it's immediately next to the resort. We tried to walk to the Main Street Shops Saturday afternoon but they were all closed. Much of the town is seasonal and we had trouble with places being closed down or shortened hours. The pool was was indoor and they have a heated jacuzzi. I couldn't spend much time in there because the chemicals were making me cough, but my boyfriend enjoyed this amenity. There is no fitness center. Front desk offers free coffee and you can apparently take games to borrow from them, too. We would come back and stay here, it was definitely a reasonable price. However, we probably don't recommend Door County in the dead of winter.

The view is great from the common area and rooms and it is a good location. However, there are many cons that make me really consider not coming back especially after this recent trip. The plates were filthy, literally had old food smears on them. The photos don't show the true filth. The room and appliances are not only dated but dirty. The coffee machine was filthy and they only gave one pack of coffee when we stayed multiple days. Coffee filters were not easy to find. I would not be surprised if things are not sanitized between guests. The paper towel is always left at the end of the roll upon arrival with no replacements . Also no room accommodations that I know of, no daily cleaning like other hotels let alone this being a "resort". Also there will be only one extra toilet paper roll if you're lucky. Outdoor pools are not in operation often and drained. The connected restaurant always takes forever to get your food and very hard to even get a water refill. The blinds are extremely difficult to operate to see the view you paid for and the balcony has carpet which is not clean. Trying to get to the patio is difficult as they have long blinds that will not open well and will often fall off. The shower is awful, dirty and low pressure. They do not replace towels unless you call and I discovered a "guest services" charge that I am going tk call about. The front desk staff is never welcoming or approachable anytime I have gone. Very disappointing.

We rented a 2-storey townhouse unit through our owners membership in Club Wyndham Destinations. It's a beautiful unit with a dedicated garage, two full bathrooms with jetted spa tubs and large shower stalls. The fireplace is real and there are wood logs provided. The master bedroom is massive, the kitchen fully stocked (as with all Wyndhams), but for us the best feature is the enclosed, heated patio with a comfy 4-chairs/table set. It leads to an outdoor deck with a Weber grill. The Recreation Center has a good sized heated pool indoors and outdoor hot tub. You can rent cross country ski equipment or ice skates for outdoor Winter activities. The townhouses are truly young-family-friendly as evidenced by the high chair and booster seat in the front closet. Little Sweden is in Fish Creek, WI, a very cute touristy town. We enjoyed shopping and even attending a local church service on Sunday. For the Summer, we look forward to boating and fishing. We hope to return in the Summer.

Cons: hot tub was not working during our stay, rooms are badly in need of updating (for example, the light on the air conditioner kept the room fully lit up at night, weak Wi-Fi, no black out curtains, etc.) and the worst thing is that our toilet got plugged and there was no plunger on site! The solution was to use the pool bathroom for the night/day. What?! This could be a really desirable property with the setting, but they really need to invest more into the property to provide basic conveniences for travelers.
