The food was all visually appealing, but some was unremarkable in taste. My mother's meal was from the specials menu (forgot exact name) but had lobster tail, caviar, and orzo. She liked her meal. My uncle had the duck breast and was pleased. My aunt and I had the Rockfish Imperial. It was described as served with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. When it was brought, the portions were so small that we thought another plate was coming with the asparagus and potatoes. It was literally the fish served over what appeared to be one asparagus stalk and one fingerling potato each sliced into several pieces and hidden under the fish. It tasted good, but we expected 2 actual veggie sides, not just a single asparagus stalk and 1 potato. The creamy crab soup was bland and thin. There was no richness or body to it. It didn't have the normal Old Bay flavor and the crab was very scanty. My overall impression of Savour is that while the restaurant looks good and has nice staff, I probably wouldn't choose to return unless it was on someone else's dime. We were only there because it was the only place in the area that was able to accommodate our short notice reservation.

Portions were on the large side so we had leftovers for a full takeaway meal. The egg rolls were new to us - corned beef dipped in a mustard sauce was an unusual, yet pleasant appetizer. They arrived hot with the interior cheese melted. Good. Side of broccoli was cooked to a soft texture - this is normal in many restaurants, yet I prefer crunchy raw so will ask for that next time. Service: Emily appeared frequently enough so we did not feel neglected. She's obviously experienced as we observed her navigating an increasingly busy clientele. Surprised for being after normal lunch time - 1:00 PM. She seemed to agree with our menu choices by sayiing "Good Choice." on our selections, Ambiance: Decor reminiscent of an Irish pub. It's NOT a college-student hangout by appearances and Emily's description. Surprising given how close this place is to the University. Tables and chairs, and booths appeared clean. Restroom was accessible, clean and well supplied. Mix of background music from Billy Joel to Irish titles. Ample free parking in front lot. Overall, a top rating due to a surprisingly pleasant experience offering unique to Salisbury food and atmosphere. Few notes: 1. Backs of booths are shared. Thus, you can feel neighboring diner shifting seats or leaning back. Like a kid kicking your airplaine seat back behind you, it's a minor irritation IF done once or twice. 2. Female servers need not wear minikilts and shorts to attract business in my opinion. Their uniform, if required, brings into question whether it's a family place. Regular length kilts would add suitable authentic atmosphere IMO.

We started with the shrimp salad on toast points, and I had an outstanding espresso martini. The appetizer was tasty, although it was very creamy such that I could not visibly recognize the shrimp. For dinner, I ordered the seafood Alfredo, and my wife ordered the market-price "Lump Crabcake" entrée. The Alfredo was very good, although the scallops were bay scallops rather than sea scallops, and for the price I expected a little more seafood. Her entrée included vegetables, while I had to order mine separately as an additional side. The biggest disappointment was the crabcakes. Despite being promoted as "lump crabcake," they appeared to be mostly filler with finely shredded crab, with perhaps 15% lump crabmeat. The flavor was good, but not exceptional, and I found the name of the entrée misleading. I am accustomed to a lump crabcake being predominantly lump crab. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding, which seemed unsure whether it wanted to be bread pudding or apple pie. It was fine, but not especially memorable. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere, received excellent service, and thought much of the food was good to very good. However, the crabcakes were quite disappointing, especially given the description and market price. Our bill before tip came close to $150, which was a bit of a shock considering the quality and portions. Calvin and the espresso martini were definite highlights, but the crabcakes did not live up to expectations.
