Excellent chicken and pet patties at a fair price. Products are in stores as well as local farmers markets.

10/10 recommend this roadside market. We stopped in by pure chance recalling it looked "cute" on…read moreour drive to lamoine. Sure enough, we weren't wrong. The breakfast biscuit sandwich was THE BEST biscuit you will ever have the pleasure of enjoying. Granted, my opinion is that it was perfect for the sandwich, it wouldn't be dense enough for sausage gravy. It would have to be a topper rather than getting slathered if you know what I mean. I went lighter and got a blueberry scone which was equally as delicious just satisfying my sweet tooth vs his savory one that morning. Anyway, we loved it so much while we were eating I went back inside and grabbed two more scones - a blueberry and fig/almond for us to have the following morning for sunrise at Cadillac. Their lattes were also wonderful. I would shop here regularly if I was a local but for now the best I can do is rave about this place on the internet.

The prosciutto was tangy and satisfying on the roll with butter. The sandwich is made already, and by the register so you don't forget to pick one up. Let me also say that the potato salad was stellar--the dill was a nice touch. The cookies were fantastic as well. I normally don't go for little specialty stores, but this one was reasonably priced in every way. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Go there. You won't be sorry.

So I've been on the hunt around Maine for the best Whoopie pie. This one has hit my top 3. (After…read moreAllyKats and the Amish of Whitefield). Spears Farm offered two flavors today? The traditional chocolate, and then a pumpkin with cream cheese. I'm a Whoopie pie traditionalist. I don't care for the fancy flavors, I want the real true Maine Whoopie flavors. This Whoopie was delicious! It had that nice dense semi sweet cake, that's kind of sticky. I hate the super dry fluffy Whoopie. NO THANK You. This was perfect. The cream inside was amazing.its too bad they don't list the ingredients of their "frosting" on the package. Because I am trying to pin point what the specific ingredient is in my favorite Whoopie pies, that set them apart from others. Spears frosting is similar to the frosting they use at applewald farm in Litchfield. It has a little bit of a zip to it. Salt? Cream of tartar? A certain kind of vanilla? I don't know. But I like this! Yum! Ok so aside from Whoopie pies, they offer local meats and cheeses, seasonal produce, which right now it was just greens, and some tiny tomatoes, Cukes, early summer squash. But there's more coming! They offer honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies. It's very nice inside their farm stand, everything is clean and tidy and organized in a "ohh I need that!" Shopper inspiration kind of way. I always make a point to stop here when traveling through Waldoboro, which sadly, is only about twice a year.
