Was a great place to stop. They charge big rigs to park overnight $10. I think that is totally reasonable. Staff was friendly and the place was spotless. Breakfast was cheap and very delicious.

First timer here at Andes, and he will be back. His exact words "these are the best clams I have ever had!" Look at those portion sizes!

They have a very light canned wine/seltzer that was unique in a good way! We left with a bottle of the Morphos Rose & one of Morphos White.

Thankfully we made it for their last open weekend for 2021! Service was extremely friendly - and we learned a ton about the winery and their practices. My husband listened to a podcast about the winery (which is why we'd wanted to visit), and the owner used to plow only using a horse. They have since switched to more modern ways - but I love that their wines are all-natural and with as minimal intervention as possible. The wines themselves are fantastic!! We had a 1/2 pour of each of the six offerings (sparkling white morphos, sparkling rose morphos, Chardonnay, cab franc, merlot and a cider) and I truly was surprised to find they are all GREAT!!! The sparkling white and Chardonnay were my favorites, but the reds were nice and dry and full of flavor. The cider was also dry and tart - it is lovely! The rose morphos was a bit too sweet for me, but tasty nonetheless! We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area!

Four of us ate and all four of us said "5 STARS"…read more We had zero complaints about anything. Mind you got there right after they opened around 345. The bread is soft and doughy, the cake is rich and can be shared between multiple people. The steaks were cooked medium and they were perfect and they melted in your mouth. I got the stuffed haddock and it was fantastic! I personally would like a little bit more stuffing, but it was amazing. We walked in and everything was spotless and the bathroom was very clean as well. It was very welcoming. Our waitress was very good. I have seen a ton of bad reviews on this place saying that the weight staff was terrible and I don't know what the hell they're talking about because there were two waitresses working and I watched both of them. They are working their butts off.... none of them had an attitude, and I noticed our waitress peaking at our table and we were having a conversation as a group so she made sure our drinks were full, and things were out of the way and did not interrupt us. She looked, and then she left once she realized we were fine. We have zero complaints as a group about the food, the staff, or anything else. We had a delightful time and we will be back for sure. We have lived here for three years and have been avoiding this place because of the yelp reviews, and I am so glad we decided to go because if the food and service is like this every time we go, we will just keep going. People who are complaining about the price need to get over it, things are expensive now and you get what you pay for. We paid a pretty decent amount of money to have a good experience with good food and we are not sorry. Sidenote : we have a very autistic 6 foot tall, teenage boy with us and I do take him to the restroom, he needs help sometimes, and I did not get any nasty looks or any comments made to us and nobody made any comments about him at all. You would be surprised how important it is for me to say this because a lot of the times when we go out to eat, people make comments about him whether it's him making a noise or doing something they don't like. They treated him the exact same way they treated us and I could not be happier about it.

I googled lobster shacks on the water and was led here. Couldn't be happier with the choice to come here. It's absolutely the most beautiful lobster shack I've ever been to. I got a full lobster which came with a pickle, bag of chips, coleslaw , lemon wedge and melted butter. My son got a lobster roll which came with the same sides. The total for both was $65.77. We got a table right by the water with an umbrella and it was peaceful, idyllic, and just perfect. We got there right when it opened at 11:30 so we had our choice of table, and parking was easy, but when we left almost an hour later, just about all of the tables were taken and the parking lot was completely full. It is definitely a popular place but for good reason. Maine is a top 5 state for me, so I'll definitely be back someday, and for now will spread the word to others to come check this place out.

I got the regular sized lobster roll, complete with two tiny ramekins, one of clarified butter and one of cole slaw, a dill pickle spear, and a bag of cape cod chips. seems like the quintessential maine bagged lunch. lobster (in some capacity), bag of cape cod chips, and water adjacent. when you're in line, you'll see a tent for oysters (you can choose from shucked or on the half shell). unfortunately I didn't get the oyster enjoying gene but it does look like fun and they did look good when I'd see them walk by with a platter on ice. the lobster roll was great, good amount of lobster for the price. roll itself was toasted so it gave a nice crunch. lobster was served cold inside the roll and then you pour the butter on top. I will say I'm no lobster roll expert (yet) but I expected the lobster to be warm, though I thoroughly enjoyed it being served cold. in the litter trailer you pass on the way to the lobster shack, you'll see people in line for desserts. please do not pass this up. they had a wild blueberry bread pudding which was the perfect launch into wild blueberry weekend last weekend. you can add whipped cream (customary) or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a small fee. or do both, because why not. and if you don't read any of this, here's a tl; dr be mindful of the direct sunlight as you enjoy this no frills lobster shack on the water. make a point to stop by the dessert trailer and any option on their menu will not disappoint.
