The first sign "You are not special" it's referring to customers placing their items on the register belt and then continuing to shop like other people may not cash out while they are shopping, taking up belt space for customers who are in fact ready to check out. Rockland Foodservice has carts, baskets, and baskets with wheels for their customers to use instead of the register belt. So no you are not special enough to put your stuff here and inconvenience everyone else. As for the other sign " we will give you attention when you give us yours" refers to customers using cellphones while at the register cashing out. And asks customers not to do it. It's rude. I'm sorry are you talking to the person on the phone or are you talking to the cashier cause I bet the cashier doesn't know either. How it is that in 2024 we are upset with stores or any one asking for respect or at the very least a little common courtesy when interacting with other people out in the wild. I say wild because people are wild these days. Rockland foodservice has the best customer service around when they will take all of your groceries out to your car and load your car for you, they are always available to help and try to find whatever you need if they don't carry it. So in short, if you're going to leave a review (I'm looking at you Dennis F) at least have the common decency and courtesy make sure you include all the context.
