What I like: I have a short hair chihuahua mix she's clean,…read morehappy, and Andrea gave me some helpful tips for daily grooming. She smells amazing. Job well done for service paid for. She was very sweet about my chatty dog too lol! What was ok: Andrea is a dog person. Some of the comments below didn't like her customer service but remember she's a dog groomer not a people groomer. She has good boundaries which are clearly written out on the form you sign at intake. Your dogs behavior is your responsibility, so the rules are for both her and the dogs safety. What was difficult: You drop off your dog at 8 am and have to call at 11am to get a pick up time. I like to know my schedule ahead of time so it was anxious the first time I brought her. I got there early and had to wait 20 min couldn't check out early. Wish I could have but thats the thing I like about good boundaries, to be honest. She said 1:30 and by golly she meant it! Difficult the first time is all. Oh and you sign off to add a dollar for every minute she has to wait so that's anxiety inducing too since the time frame for her to finish can vary a couple of hours. Bottom line: I don't mind the list of rules that some previous posters have had issues with. The structure of her hours works well enough AND I live down the street. I scheduled a dogs next session Luckily I live down the street. Support your local businesses. It will do so much for our local economy and for your dog friends.

They quoted $75 for her glam up, when they called to let us know she was ready it was only $60. She was very clean and shiny!! Her tail looked gorgeous. Thank you to the staff for making her first visit a good one.

I received a phone call from the…read moresalon at 3:30pm saying his grooming service couldn't be completed due to a staff emergency & to come pick up my pet. When I get there the grooming service had not even been started! What was he doing all that time? Was my pet crated for 4.5 hours? Was he even offered water or a potty break? Why wasn't I contacted sooner? When I subsequently spoke with the owner, I was met with a foul attitude, and a condescending tone with a total lack of remorse or empathy. I had to initiate the call, the owner never bothered to reach out to me. As if I would ever bring my pet back there, the owner uninvited us to be customers.

Um, okay... maybe it's boring for you to have her done that way, but it's how I like it. She did do a good job, so that was at least nice. The second time, I had an older woman do it, and she left a whole bunch of wax in my dog's ears (right there on the surface, so it would have been easy to trim off.) I ended up having to do it with scissors at home, which was more difficult and dangerous. She has the better tools to do it, so that was pretty disappointing. I decided to give her another chance... but then when I turned up for our appointment, she no-showed on me. While I appreciate mistakes can be made, it's really ridiculous that I wasn't notified that she wouldn't be there. I arranged my whole day around it, and also turned down an invitation to a baseball game because I had that appointment. I am very disappointed about the lack of professionalism and will not be returning to this groomer.
