COMPLETELY OBSESSED. We just got our first Shihtzu and have never had a long haired breed of dog before. This little dude is basically just a giant, puffy cotton ball and I am 100% here for it, but his little toes get Grinch-y and his eyes get so overgrown he can't see! I checked what was around and this was the first to pop up closest to me. I was a little nervous because I haven't been to a groomer before, but I was immediately put at ease by their friendliness. They helped educate me on proper brushing habits and how to train him to enjoy the grooming process as he gets older. I really felt I could trust them, and when the time came that I could schedule an appointment for my puppy they did not disappoint! I absolutely couldn't believe that he could look any cuter than he was, but I'm completely in love with how his haircut turned out and it was even more than I could have hoped for! I can't stop smiling and never thought I would be this excited over a dog haircut! He also smells awesome, and they sent him home with a super cute bow but he quickly wiggled it from his head. WOOHOO! AS GOOD AS IT GETS! this does sum up my experience with Anna and her grooming services. My little Madeleine is a handful to groom, she hates it. Anna handled her with great competence, balancing her approach to Madeleine as the moment called for. Many other groomers have complained about Madeleine's behavior and have had difficulty getting her groomed. Every place I went to, I was disappointed by the results, or the price, or the traumatizing effect it had on my dogs. I have been going to Anna for about two years now, and have never been less-than impressed with her professional results and above-and-beyond caring attitude toward the dogs! I will say that I had my dog to this place twice, and I was happy with the job that was done. Don't expect a high class facility, but they did a nice job. However, I called to get an appointment this last time and they told me they could no long do him because he was panicky and had a bad demeanor. Now this is the first I've heard of this, if he was so bad why wasn't it mentioned the last time I picked him up? And what did you do to him to cause a bad demeanor? I have pictures of my toddler reading books sitting on this dog, there isn't a bad bone in his body. Avoid this place. Give your money to someone else with better business practices. read more

I'm not sure why I can't see my last review on Yelp but I'm submitting a second review because I was not happy with this grooming establishment and all of the other reviews say nothing bad. I was happy with Pam but not happy with Ana. I felt she rushed and made my dog feel anxious. I took my new poodle/bichon to Anna for the first time recently and was so happy I did!! My dog is very unsure about the whole grooming thing. He did not like the razor or being hooked to the table. Being a dog that does not shed, grooming is something he must have done, or I would have taken him back home..He tried to snap at Anna and I wasnt sure she would be able to groom him at all. Anna was VERY patient with him. She talked nicely to him and gave him breaks every once in awhile to allow him get used to her and the clippers. I was allowed to stay there to help him feel more relaxed and I appreciated that. I felt like she knew my dog needed someone he loved to be with him to calm him. She shaved him down, clipped his nails and cleaned up his face as best she could considering he was terrified and fighting it the whole time. I will go back and hopefully he will get over his fear. I found my dog in the woods and we dont really know what his situation was before he came to me. Its possible that his former home or circumstances has some bearing on his deameanor.
