I have 2 long-haired dachshunds who are very anxious so having the groomer pull up to the door is very convenient. I can give the dogs their anxiety meds and then just hand them over. I've had 4 different groomers over the last 5 years and they are all excellent. Highly recommend! They are usually on time but if late I always get a text. They had to cancel one time due to an illness but rescheduled me quickly and without any problems. The price is worth it to me and I don't think it's outrageous for what they do. They bring everything right to your door Always with a smile.

I've had dogs my entire life but I've never taken any of them to a professional groomer before. I was so nervous dropping my sheepie off for a groom. Marie was great! She came out to the car to get my puppy and we talked about what I wanted done and off she and the pup went into the salon. She texted about 2 hours later saying he was ready. My little ragamuffin sheepdog came out looking like a distinguished pup. Not gonna lie, I was surprised that he looked like a completely different dog! He will be cooler with his shorter cut. I will definitely be back and I know what to ask for next time. Pic for the cuteness factor.

Because of his age, he has arthritis and moves slower. Denise knows this and takes special care to be gentle with him. She always gives him the best cuts, cleans his ears and trims his nails-she even gives him cute bandanas around all of the holidays and takes a Polaroid picture that she gives you when you pick your dog up! Her prices are half of what you would pay any where else. Denise's shop is extremely clean and is decorated like a cute little cottage. The one reviewer who mentioned that their dog got fleas after being groomed there, must have already had fleas before going there. There is no way that there is even one flea in the place! Denise takes as good care of her shop, as she does the animals she grooms. I highly recommend her.

Michelle at The Dirty Dog is officially my go-to groomer. After lackluster experiences with…read moregroomers lording their experience and opinions over my preferences and concerns, I didn't think I'd find anyone I could trust with my standard poodle. The thing that first made Michelle stand out against the competition is the way she engages with me as a client. She listens and asks questions, confirming every detail so that her understanding matches whatever vision you have for your dog. The second thing that impresses me with Michelle is the quality of the actual cut. My poodle's feet are evenly trimmed without wisps and there are no lopsided bits. I've had to clean up the cut after other professional groomers, but not with The Dirty Dog. Finally, among the greatest concerns for puppy parents, her shop is clean and smells good. Dogs are dried manually, rather than being left cowering in a cage with loud fans blowing in at them. She and her staff are gentle and kind in handling the pups. She acts as if my dog is the greatest creature to come into her shop; she probably does give every dog a royal welcome, but I think that's a sign of real customer appreciation. I couldn't ask for more or better in a groomer and I highly recommend the business.

We brought our puppy that has never been groomed before and she was being quite difficult, so they suggested we bring her back in a few days later so she can get more used to the setting and the clippers etc., and we really appreciated the thoughtful way they handled that. We have taken our dog Zoey for grooming for a few years. This last year we have had a number of…read moreissues. Biggest one is (apparently) shampoo or other chemical in her eyes. This time has been the worse. Both eyes flame red, watering and she prefers to lay with her eyes closed. She can see when she walks, but who knows how well! We have put drops in her eyes which has helped. Last two times it took a couple days for Zoey to stop rubbing her eyes. That was one eye each time. This time it's both. We will be at our vet if this is not continually improving the next 24 hours. One time is an oops, multiple times is incompetence. We will not be returning to Posh Pets grooming any longer. We will be at our vets on Monday to insure Zoey is OK. Absolutely no longer recommend this groomer!
