I had a Pomeranian that passed away a few years ago and remember some of the awful fur-cuts he had and how difficult it is to find a good groomer. I called a few places and had no luck getting them both in, so when they could take them right away I was skeptical. Right when we walked in, I knew they were going to be well taken care of. It was a very friendly welcoming atmosphere. They did a thorough consultation and explained in detail what they were going to do. I just wanted a nice cleanup cut and not have them shaved because every place I took my old Pomeranian, they would shave him leaving him looking all blotchy & spotty even when I requested they not shave him. When I came to pick them up I was extremely happy with the outcome. They cut their fur in a beautiful shape that went perfectly to their body shapes. It was exactly what I wanted and even better. Vivian explained everything her and Ashley did and gave me tips on grooming them at home. She educated me on how to keep their skin moisturized, fur conditioned & shiny and how to properly remove the dreadlocks that form behind their ears. My dogs were both calm relaxed and happily walking around Muddy Paws knowing they looked great. I highly recommend going there to have your dogs groomed.

She came out to the car to get my puppy and we talked about what I wanted done and off she and the pup went into the salon. She texted about 2 hours later saying he was ready. My little ragamuffin sheepdog came out looking like a distinguished pup. Not gonna lie, I was surprised that he looked like a completely different dog! He will be cooler with his shorter cut. I have 2 long-haired dachshunds who are very anxious so having the groomer pull up to the door is very convenient. I can give the dogs their anxiety meds and then just hand them over. I've had 4 different groomers over the last 5 years and they are all excellent. Highly recommend! They are usually on time but if late I always get a text. They had to cancel one time due to an illness but rescheduled me quickly and without any problems. The price is worth it to me and I don't think it's outrageous for what they do. We brought our puppy that has never been groomed before and she was being quite difficult, so they suggested we bring her back in a few days later so she can get more used to the setting and the clippers etc., and we really appreciated the thoughtful way they handled that. We have taken our dog Zoey for grooming for a few years. This last year we have had a number of…read moreissues. Biggest one is (apparently) shampoo or other chemical in her eyes. This time has been the worse. Both eyes flame red, watering and she prefers to lay with her eyes closed. She can see when she walks, but who knows how well! We have put drops in her eyes which has helped. Last two times it took a couple days for Zoey to stop rubbing her eyes. That was one eye each time. This time it's both. We will be at our vet if this is not continually improving the next 24 hours. One time is an oops, multiple times is incompetence. We will not be returning to Posh Pets grooming any longer. We will be at our vets on Monday to insure Zoey is OK. Absolutely no longer recommend this groomer!
