It's a pretty expensive procedure, but this clinic quoted a lower price than I had received elsewhere, so I agreed. I was told to drop off my kitty in the morning before work and she would be ready to pick up in the evening. I dropped her off on my rushed way to work, not knowing that would be the last time I saw her. Around noon, I got a call from the vet saying that he finished the procedure but the cat had struggled a lot before going under and now she was not waking up. Although he would not admit it openly, it's clear the poor thing was terrified and struggled, so he OVER SEDATED her. She never did wake up. I had to go pick up her poor lifeless body. I feel horribly guilty that I took my poor kitty and left her alone in a cold office of strangers who then killed her, even if that wasn't their intention. I miss my kitty and am haunted by how she left this world and my decision to take her to this vet.

We will be at our vet if this is not continually improving the next 24 hours. One time is an oops, multiple times is incompetence. We will not be returning to Posh Pets grooming any longer. I also find it frustrating that grooming prices are not clearly listed, because I would like to know what I should expect to pay before the service is performed. As part of the mini groom, I specifically asked for his face to be cleaned up and showed a photo as an example of what I wanted. I was not asking for a full haircut. I was told that with a mini groom they only do a little bit to the face and don't really groom it. That was confusing because his face has been cleaned up during previous visits, and the description of the mini groom states that a face trim is included. When I picked him up, very little appeared to have been trimmed from his face. I was also disappointed with the customer service. I had my 7-year-old with me and was struggling to get my toddler's stroller in and out of the store. The employee at the front counter could see that I was having difficulty but did not offer to help. I understand that prices can change and that a mini groom is not the same as a full haircut. My concerns are the lack of clear pricing, the inconsistency between the service description and what I was told, and the way the overall interaction was handled. After being a longtime customer, I left this visit feeling very disappointed. Also, they blocked me on Instagram for asking why their prices aren't listed stating my issue. They just lost a valuable customer as far as I'm concerned. This is my Shih Tzu immediately after grooming. His face was barely trimmed, and you can still clearly see the longer hair around his eyes, muzzle, and ears.

I have 2 long-haired dachshunds who are very anxious so having the groomer pull up to the door is very convenient. I can give the dogs their anxiety meds and then just hand them over. I've had 4 different groomers over the last 5 years and they are all excellent. Highly recommend! They are usually on time but if late I always get a text. They had to cancel one time due to an illness but rescheduled me quickly and without any problems. The price is worth it to me and I don't think it's outrageous for what they do.
