This is a hole in the wall that serves up some tasty Chinese or Thai food. It is plentiful . they just opened to dine in service and the girl behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I would say this is a go to place for the College crowd because that was the vibe I got. We were going to another Cheese restaurant up the street, but it closes early afternoon. I got the Pad Thai and my husband sweet and sour pork. Served enough for two in each meal, Pad Thai was very good, my husband not impressed with the Sweet and Sour. There were a number is Sweet and Sour chicken lunch specials ordered at $10 a pop! When the food arrived everybody was looking at the chicken fried rice. it had bright white pieces in it that didn't look like white, or dark chicken chinks. well it wasn't! it was pieces of rolled up deli sliced chicken! Many in happy people ! Well guess what was in the breaded chicken, the same rolled up deli sliced chicken! Don't waste your money here! The miniature parking lot in the back that our windows faced shared an entry alleyway with Main Moon. Canola-oiled, fried, greasy, pretty typical Chinese-American cooking that won't break the bank. They have a lunch buffet that's pretty affordable, although you can't escape the fact that it feels as though the oil that they cook with has permeated even the walls. The food was done in lightening speed, which concerned me. No matter where I go for Asian food, there's ALWAYS at least a 10 minute wait, because they are making the food fresh for you. I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK! The egg roll was soft and soggy. So the oil either wasn't hot enough, or this was cooked earlier and microwave reheated. The crab rangoon were made with wonton wrappers rather than philo dough, which was fine. HOWEVER, there was about 1/8th of a teaspoon of filling inside. So the "crab" rangoon was 99.9% fried wonton that wasn't even warm to the touch. Finally the main dish. The white rice didn't taste fresh. There were hard, clear /translucent pieces of rice throughout. Which tells me once again, the food was old. The Tso's chicken was DRY & HARD. Again, telltale sign of it being cooked prior & reheated and or being served old food. The wonton soup broth wasn't bad. It was the highlight of the order, however, the noodles were paper thin and missing the spring onion. To begin, the staff were very friendly and eager to serve their customers. Now for my thoughts on this place, the dinning room is filthy. I know it's closed because of COVID-19, but that's no excuse. The half wall as you enter was gritty with dirt and felt disgusting, and the coverings over some of the tables were visibilly dusty. It did not present a good first impression. The food was absolutely flavorless. The dinner portions were small, and it was mostly tasteless fried rice with a very small half portion of the entree. Adding lots of soy sauce didn't even help the flavor. I'm from out of town, and if this is the best Chinese food in Ashland, I feel sorry for the locals. They are really missing out. read more

This place used to be a regular go-to for Chinese food for me. Solid, predictable, and quick. It's nothing particularly special, but at least it was convenient, right? Unfortunately, I happened to stop in one afternoon to get some takeout. While I was in the dining area waiting on my food, I happened to spot the FIRST cockroach crawling along the woodwork. Before long, I spotted his (her?) two relatives not far behind. I would like to think this issue has been rectified since, but I'm not taking any chances. I recommend this as a great lunch spot for some take out for I believe under 7 dollars you can get an entree, fried rice, an egg roll and a can of pop. I found their restaurant when i searched in google "chinese restaurant near me", and it gave me this restaurant .The lady who answered did'nt even ask where was my location when I told her the hotel where i was checked in. She just asked about the room number. She didn't even ask my name! It was my 1st time in ohio so I did'nt know that their restaurant is located at the other city which is 45 minutes away from.my hotel. So when the delivery guy went to the wrong hotel and found out that he was in the wrong hotel he started yelling at me, become rude, racist and criticize how i speak english. He even told me to go back to my country! I never encountered such a rude person like him in my life! He verbally abused me. I called the restaurant and asked to talk with the manager. A lady with chinese accent who is the manager spoke to me and doesn't believe what i told her about the delivery guy..she is rude too. I grew up eating here as a kid and had it last night. The chicken lo mein noodles were foul tasting. The chicken teriyaki on a stick was unchewable as well.
