The special was a grilled cheese and meatloaf sandwich (with a side of their special pineapple coleslaw) The sand- wich was large was toasted to perfection. It even had pickles on it. It was different and seriously delicious!! My daughter-in-law had the mac 'n cheese with chicken strips. It looked amazing. The portion was so big, she had to take half of it home. The salads are huge and one of those will be my next choice. This bar as been around for years. (the owners retired) There is live music often and there are two area with tables, one in the primary bar room and another where the band would be. There are also booths along the back wall. The bar was clean and the new owner, Caleb, was very friendly. I bet people don't think of George's as a lunch or dinner destination, but I highly recommend it.

I paid for a round of drinks for my friends. Three Carbliss and a top shelf shot. The bartender asked if I wanted to keep the tab open. I said no, close it out. He ran my card, I signed the receipt and that was that. Or so I thought. The next day I glanced at my bank account, I believe it said $37 and change. Hmm, seemed kind of high. I looked at it the next day and now it's up to $42.90. What in the world!?! I called George's, asked what they charge for Carbliss, $7. Ok, so $21plus the shot. I'm sorry, it shouldn't be $42.90. I was told I didn't close out the tab. Well, yes, I did. What would I have to do to completely close out that tab? So we went back and forth a couple of times and she said, have a good day. That was that! Nice scam! Needless to say, I am not happy. I'm not sure I care to go there ever again. Very disappointed!! So, beware!!!

The wait was a little bit long but I couldn't see how busy they were inside . My wife order the shrimp sandwich and I ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich. Both with sides of fries. My wife said the shrimp sandwich was an eight out of 10. Pretty good. Best part was definitely the buns felt fresh. The steak sandwich for me was a bit bland. The sauce was the star. I feel like the sauce was not there would be a pretty bland sandwich steak did not have any flavor unfortunately but still a decent sandwich. We are planning on coming back down to Kenosha and trying this place again. It may be checking out the other things they have.

The draw back to this establishment is the noise level. We were in the restaurant area, the noise from the bar, especially one woman (bartender) who was soooo sooo loud made it hard to hear the conversation between us. I hope this is something they will address because it hindered the experience. The restaurant has lots of potential and I wish them much success! It is a nice addition to Sturtevant. I'm not going to lie they are a good size, and they have about 9 flavors. One of the best around. This place is small, but there's an upstairs hang out area. There are dart boards upstairs 4 and downstairs 2. This place is known for darts and leagues. So don't be shy if you're looking to play. When leagues are playing, they are up and downstairs. There are no pool tables at this establishment. They have a small deck upstairs as well. The bartender Nicole,I had today saw me walking in and immediately said hi from a distance, through the crowd I might add. I get to the counter, and she immediately took my drink order. Not even 4 minutes, she was back to take my food order. This is the second time I had her as the bartender. She reacted the same on my first visit. A Plus!!! Let's talk more about the establishment. Bright and very nice decor. Neat bar and counter area. Did I mention they have a large outdoor patio area? Can't wait until Summer. They also have 5 video slots and a pull tab machine. The bar area seats about 22 people. Then you have about 4 tables when there's no pool league. Overall this is a beautiful place, and I bet people have lived here for years and never stopped by because they didn't know, like me, Scottie didn't know, lol. All kinds of music are being played from the jukebox. Anything from RnB, rock, metal, and dance, for example. Play what you like. It's a little loud for my liking as I have hearing problems, but manageable. The only negative thing I can think of is parking. It's a small lot, but you can park on the street or the back by the fence, which is behind the building. This is on a dead-end street. You'll be fine, folks, so don't turn around. I had to park by the fence today. Now the food. I had the Moonshine BBQ wings, and they were fat and juicy. Lawd Lawd. I also had the Philly Cheese Egg rolls. Ummm, you will enjoy those with the beer cheese dip. I love the soft crunch the roll had. I would order both of these again. There's plenty of beer choices, only 8 on tap. Surprisingly, a good number of spirits, too I honestly give this place a 4.8 because I was able to chat with all kinds of people with no issues. Ages are mixed, so that's a plus. The atmosphere was pretty great if you asked me. People were friendlier than other bars I've been to in Kenosha. You should have a great time with this local bar. They need more reviews, that's for sure. So support your local establishments and give them your review. Yes, I will be back. Most of the building pics are from Dec 2023 when i found out they never closed, they open late, lolol. Sorry I took so long to post. I hope the next person enjoys themselves
