Went during the week at like 1pm and got the all access pass until 5pm. Bowled for about 1 1/2 hours which was about 3 games. Ordered pizza which was very good. Our waitress was very professional and checked on us multiple times which was nice. Did laser tag and it was just the two of us so the two employees played with us and it was pretty fun being my first time ever playing. It was pretty empty at the time we went so I'm not sure how it would be on a weekend but it was clean and a nice experience. Little pricey but I would consider doing it again. read more

After reading the reviews from 12 months ago it's clear that problems that this place was having are still the same problems to this day. We played the arcade, bowling, laser tag, and did the obstacle course. I brought my nephew and my son with me to have a little family fun. Like posts from 12 months ago, half the games we tried didn't work, but took out credits. Credits I paid $100 for and a lot the games were also half broken or glitchy. They clearly need a repair man, but it seems this place is ran by a bunch of incompetents or these problems would have long been fixed by now.. another thing I noticed is that when I ordered the sundae which they advertised on a big huge poster in the building it took almost 20 minutes for the girl to make it, while her fellow crew mates were talking her head off, idk what about, and once she had finally started, after almost 15 minutes of just being gone and then messing around for 5 more minutes. Not to mention, when I walked up, she was literally on her phone turned completely around. I got very upset and alerted the manager and she acted like this was an acceptable time frame without even knowing how long it was taking. This sundae was not hard and could be made by me in like 3 minutes tops. I work at a restaurant and use to work at a cafe that serves ice cream it was utterly ridiculous. The bowling was cool, the laser tag was cool, the obstacle course was cool and the young African American man running the obstacle course was the most kind and professional person there that I met. He deserves a raise because he is the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1. The arcade being broken to where it is ripping people off left and right is crazy. People are paying their hard earned dollars to play these games!!!! And the wait for food, even food stuff as simple as a sundae, that's sad... I'll probably be taking my son and nephew to Dave and busters next time to see how our experience goes there. This is a first time customer that this place probably won't be seeing again. Wow I'm rarely inspired to rate businesses like this but the current rating seems horribly low. I've been several times, there is a good arcade, mix of adults and kids, speedy service at the bar, bar food which takes a good bit of time but at least you know it's fresh. This place is terrible. Service is bad!! We waited almost an hour just to get a drink!! The line was out the door just to even buy a card!! We complained to management and once we got our drinks they were wrong. We then got our bill and told the manager that it was wrong. He was rude about the whole ordeal. He then realized we were treated unfairly. All in all this place needs better management and better planning. The best thing out of this whole ordeal was a waiter named Anthony. I had the displeasure of meeting the manger here today named CHUBS. Very, very rude I made the mistake asking for his help with the game cards as soon as we walked in. When his machine malfunctioned he acted as if I was ignorant. No sorry or anything. Second time I was forced to interact with him at the gravity ropes. I was told when I bought the package it was for twenty mins. When the kids went up and came down for only 10 mins. He said its 15 mins now 5 to strap in and 10 to walk. Again no I'm sorry no nothing just move out my way attitude. As soon as we left it's funny how my two 12year old girls said what I was only thinking in my head and they felt it also ....not enough workers and the 2 out of 3 didn't want to be there. I've been twice now once when they just opened and again this week. One occasion it was not busy this week very busy. Both occasions similar issues. The service is super slow. Most everyone acts like they hate their job and could care less about providing a good customer experience. The play all day pass is a definite waste of money.. The wait for all activities is super long and inefficient. 3 hour wait for bowling meanwhile I counted 12 empty lanes! When I bring this up to the desk miraculously our lane is ready.. Then when we finally get a lane we are only given 1 hour of bowling time and told we must get back in line to obtain another hour. Rip-off alert! Go anywhere BUT here! read more

They sent us to a bowling lane that wasn't cleaned off. We moved everything to the back table for them. After waiting 30 minutes, we hadn't seen one waiter around. We ordered the fries and a Pepsi on the kiosk. After 15 minutes, We had to go up the the desk and ask for someone to come and get us our order or to at least acknowledge our existence. The waiter finally showed up, dropped off cold food, and left without taking any more drink orders. Then we noticed one of the water glasses was BROKEN! Worst service ever. If I could give this place a zero, I probably would. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and listen to the plethora of 1 star reviews. This place was miserable! Before I get into the negative, I will say the pizza was delicious, and the Games' Manager, Chris, was very nice and professional. But after spending five hours at this establishment, those are the only two positives. Now onto the negative. Let's begin with the bar. Why in the world should it ever take 30 minutes or more to get a drink? The bartenders literally act like they don't see you. It's infuriating. Not to mention, once you get the drink you ordered, it's INCREDIBLY weak. I'm a stay at home mom of two little ones, so I never drink. This was our first time going out in two years, but after 5 drinks, I felt like I had been drinking lemonade all night. Ridiculous. In the interest of not losing your attention, I'll try to keep the rest of the complaints brief. The staff (aside from Chris) was incredibly immature and unprofessional. I felt like I was at a high school prom, and that we, the customers, were just an inconvenience to the employees. On several occasions, we would walk up to a counter (for bowling or at the Bistro), and we would be ignored for several minutes as they continued socializing. We were told there was a two hour wait for bowling on two occasions, yet there was four or more lanes open. When we asked another employee, we were allowed to immediately bowl. You're paying over $40 to bowl for one hour, and when you're lane breaks, good luck getting help. Nobody answers the intercom, and the employees are too busy socializing to help you. Not to mention, if you want drinks or food while bowling, you have to hunt a server down. Then, he'll be gone 20+ minutes between getting what you ordered, he'll show up without some of your order, "apologize" for the 20 minute delay because he was going to the bathroom (YUCK!), never bring you the additional items, and not bring a pen in order to sign the tab. Our game cards with money on them did not work. When we finally spoke to a manager because we couldn't take it anymore, he (Alex) was slightly apologetic about the whole experience, but he seemed a bit unconcerned and annoyed. He gave us two 90 minute games cards, but we will NEVER return in order to use them. We spend well over $100 here, and it was such a waste. Go to Dave & Busters or go to the Main Event in Alpharetta. Horrible service. Food took almost 2 hours to come. Shots went to another group and servers said they would comp them because they took 2 hours for that too. Later the manager, Steve comes and blames us for taking the shots and wants us to point out the server who comped the shots for us. Will not come again. Steve needs training on management. read more

I went to this location with a small group of friends and it was a pretty terrible experience. With the exception of the front desk staff and Martevious at the laser tag area, it was some of the worst customer service I've EVER seen. I stood at the bar with two of my friends - the bartender (very slowly) took their orders and then literally walked away without speaking to me. I tried to get someone's attention for three solid minutes with no response. Seriously. There was a long wait for bowling - pretty understandable on a holiday weekend, I get it - but then just getting the shoes we'd already paid for took almost 15 minutes and they had put us down for the wrong number of lanes. We went our entire hour of bowling without any service from the waiters, then by the time someone finally did come they told us the kitchen was closing so it was too late to order any food, sorry about that. The person originally running the laser tag area stood in front of us without speaking with his hand out, apparently asking for our reservation ticket, and then repeatedly blew a whistle at a room full of adults for no apparent reason. The facility closed at midnight and we asked to get back in the queue for tag at 11:20 (which we asked after standing at the counter for a full 45 seconds being ignored by /four employees/) and the same guy told us they stopped that at 11:15... information that wasn't listed anywhere and was immediately changed when we asked to speak to a manager. We got a wait-list buzzer for the pool tables that never once buzzed, even when we saw multiple open tables, and the bartenders who are in charge of that couldn't have cared less when we asked. My group was a bunch of young adults, all of whom either have worked or still work in different food/customer service positions. We get that it's not anyone's dream or anything and that it can be a drag, but you've got to do your job. The building wasn't that busy, there were more than enough employees around, and we weren't drunk or rude or asking for ridiculous things. This business is 5 minutes from most of our houses and we were really excited for something this cool that close by, but we won't be going back any time soon. read more

I was pretty excited when I found out they were opening near our house & our first visit was pretty good although service was slow & the server wasn't very familiar with the menu we chalked up to the fact that it was the first week they were opened. Well, our 2nd visit tonight was VERY disappointing. To say the service was slow would be an understatement. We were basically ignored. It took about 10 minutes for the bartender to take my drink order, and about 20 before they got our food order even though my boyfriend was literally sitting at the bar with his hand in the air. The bartender didn't even ask if I wanted another drink when she took my empty. We had to ask 3 different bartenders and a manager to cash us out & that took over 15 minutes as well. We saw a bartender drop a muddler in the ice then fish it out with her bare hands. And the drink napkins were reused. Soooo many things need to be fixed maybe start by hiring some servers & bartenders who actually give AF & who aren't riding on the equal opportunity employment wagon. This place is super unorganized. If you want to wait hours for food and to be overlooked for a server this is the place. We had to order off the computer the table and never got received drinks. My friend ordered a Red Bull and it never came. We flagged down two employees and they said they'd come back but never did with her child's drink or hers. It is so dirty! The spoons at the ice cream shop were disgusting and not able to be used. I had to ask the worker behind the counter for clean ones and he was so swamped and had no help. He had to tell us where clean spoons were. The servers only care about large party on the restaurant side. The manager never came by to apologize or anything. We got a few game cards but by the time we did it was so late and our kids were not able to use them long at all. They had no system down for customers in any of the areas of this venue. The bowling was a four hour wait! We couldn't even bowl. I only enjoyed the time there because my closest friend met us there. I just wanted to see her. On our first visit, people around us had been waiting 90 minutes for their food and there was a long line for the game card purchase. Decided to give it another try. Big mistake. We waited at least 30 minutes to purchase game cards. They only had 2 registers going on New Years Eve. Then they gave half of our food order to another table. Last night was my first time ever going to main event and while the games were cool, the service and attitudes we're not. We went as a group of 4 and started our hour of bowling. Our server took down our drink order, and never brought them. So we just finished our game hungry and thirsty. Afterward we sat at a table thinking service would be better, it wasn't. After waiting 20mins for someone to bring us menus , the server comes by and we think she's gonna take our order but informs us she's about to walk out because she's sick of working there and says someone else will take your order. Never had a server say that before. If your not a people person you shouldn't be working at main event anyway. Takes another 25mins to get a new server. once we finally get orders in, it takes 45 mins to get our food. So that's an hour and 25 mins of waiting for wings and fries. That experience doesn't make me want to go back, but if I did, I would definitely not eat there unless you have alot of time to kill. As a group we went in there and spent $150 easy and I expect at least decent service if we're spending that much. Pretty much ruined the night for us. read more

For the record, this place is rather new and still working out their kinks, so I'm considering that fact upon writing this review. We came here today with a party of 12 and they accommodated us just fine. We sat in the restaurant area whilst waiting for 2 bowling lanes and ordered drinks and appetizers; once we were summoned for our reservation they helped transfer our food and drinks to the lanes, which was nice. The server seemed a little discombobulated at first contact but he came through in the end, delivering fresh fountain drinks to the lanes when we didn't even ask for refills, which I thought was really great. The only complaints that I have are that the gals at the bowling shoe counter had a slight attitude, they charge by the hour for bowling (which sucks when you're not sure you can finish a game in that time frame, especially when you have kids, of which we had 3), and it was super crowded even on a lazy Sunday, which I suppose is unavoidable for a place such as this but probably worrisome for an anxiety ridden person. Other than that, no other problems from my end! And they did give us an extra 10 minutes over our hour allotment, which was classy. Also, the margaritas are strong, (which is never a bad thing), the nachos are delicious and the prices are pretty fair. All in all, a great time for the family. Went on a Saturday night and it was overall an enjoyable experience. The bowling wait time was 2 hours so we settled on the 3 hour unlimited play arcade card. It's a lot of value for $13 that you can split between your group, but keep in mind you can't play any games that have direct prizes (claw machines) and you can't get tickets. Service itself was decent but I didn't try the bar or restaurant so I can't speak for those. read more

Great idea but several downsides. Place is clean but service is poor. We ordered pizza and appetizer but only got appetizer after bowling for an hour. After waitress tried to give us bill did we tell of pizza not coming out. Had to re place order. Music very loud and some of the music videos are not really appropriate for young kids. My sister and I tend to stop by Main Event ever so often to sit at the bar and converse. We dont see each other often so it's always a great meeting point. This particular night made me want to write a review about Floyd and Tanya. We always sit at the bar and try the new drafts, new specials, and just enjoy the scenery. Floyd immediately cleaned us a space off to sit and welcomed us offering us some specials and great conversation. Tanya then came over and she made us a specialty drink and advised I get the new wings. She was very attentive and even noticed that some of my wings werent cooked the way that I'd asked without me even having to complain she went back to the back and asked me what else I wanted. That type of customer service goes along way. Floyd also came over and Kept our glasses full. The bar was clean, aesthetically pleasing, and great service. We will continue to go there. i visited the suwanee location on june 26th 2021 for friends birthday. i brought a gift bag for his birthday that contained cupcakes and a birthday card that also included money which was also included in the gift bag. we played a bowling game and near closing we returned our shoes to the front booth and we were the last in the bowling area other than employees that were cleaning up the area. my friend left his gift bag for less than 5 minutes while he returned his shoes and we came back to an empty bag with nothing but the gift wrap paper in the bag. so we went to a manager his name was norm, he was very rude and insisted that we misplaced the items. we went back to the area allng with norm and one of the employees (no name tag) admitted to taking the cupcakes but not the card. one of the guests in my party asked her why she felt it was acceptable to take what was not hers and she used profanity and even stormed off. norm did nothing about the situation and called security for us to be removed from the premises. this is completely unacceptable as i work in management and i wont ever be visiting this location again. read more

You can't go wrong with bowling! Service, however, could use a ton of work. Took 40 minutes to get our fountain drinks and got our food right as our time (1hr) ran out on our lane. The manager was aware of our servers lack of hospitality and inability to be present and serve us but didn't help the server out or compensate us for wasted time. For as expensive as it is to bowl there, I was expecting a better time. Will probably stick to regular bowling alleys where you don't spend $110 for 6 people to bowl for an hour and get ignored by the server. read more

This place is a joke. The staff is rude and unhelpful and clearly untrained/lacking in any sense of professionalism. My child went with a school group and a random person walked up and stole her game card from the group table and returned it empty when he was done and no one would do anything even though she could point the person out. She also played laser tag and was disabled for no reason. When she asked the young girl why she disabled her, she said because she felt like it. Food is terrible too.
