Had 2 shipping labels prepared and 2 boxes ready. Man said he needed to charge me for a piece of tape on the box. I said I had never been charged before and he said "welcome to the new world" nothing is free. I asked him what type of customer service that was and he said that he charges for everything and to not expect that anything is free. Did not end up sending my packages with him and decided to go to another location. Not a huge shock or surprise that he has less than 3 stars. I called them today and they said they haven't offered this service since 2020. Be weary of a business whose website is 4 years out of date. I came to Mail Zone from a referral from my attorney. I simply needed a business address to file some paperwork. If you check the rates at the Post Office or UPS it can be very expensive. My attorney said that he knew someone reasonable so I went for it. Since I'm a Yelp Elite I was hesitant to come in after seeing all of the one star reviews. It turns out that the owner is from Germany. I happen to have lived in Germany for four and a half years as a teenager. I can tel you that when I returned to the United States that people would constantly ask me if I was mad and would demand that I smiled. Why? I don't know you and I'm not mad. The thing is that all cultures are different. If someone doesn't show all of their pearly whites as soon as you walk in, this does not mean they are mean or not friendly. Heck, they may be self conscious and not want to show their teeth. From what I saw, The owner did smile at me. He's got cute dimples. I saw them. I know dimples appear when someone is smiling. He was very informative about his service offerings and is going to get me a single shirt to print my business logo on. This is not typical. Most printing places are going to demand that you have a larger minimum order. I truly appreciate this. Anyway, I could go on and on. I solidified my box and other services quickly and without any issues. I will be doing more business with Mail Zone in the future. He even wished me luck on my business venture. My business has had its mailbox here for several years, and I can't believe I have not written a review yet! I have 24/7 access to my mailbox, which is amazing. If there is something I need to pick up, they do work regular banker's hours, but that is not a big deal. At least I know it'll be inside air conditioning! They do offer pretty much every service you need for shipping, which means that the store itself is not a showpiece, but full of boxes and everything you could possibly need for that purpose. They even sell masks and hand sanitizer if you're one of those. I have always been treated kindly and professionally. Today was no different. The people who are upset about a small Independent business not bowing to the whims of our benevolent covididiot overlords should not be allowed to post negative reviews. That has positively nothing to do with the business itself or poor customer service. Yes, it is very common to get a thumbprint for a notary. Those of us who have ever been a notary love that feature because we no longer have to do all the paperwork. For somebody to go off over something so small says more about them than the business. I know, I'm saying more about another review than I have about the business, but this business does not deserve the negative reviews. I asked to take a photo of my package and he gave me my money back and told me to go somewhere else. Attached is how he taped my package. I was in the neighborhood so I looked them up. I came in here to drop off some FedEx packages, including one that included a QR code. As a new customer, I walk into the store and don't see the owner until I'm halfway into the store. The owner doesn't get up, and directs me to a wire cart. I inquire about the QR code, and am informed that I need go to FedEx for that service. Not a problem, I understand that a third party may not have the same access. I ask for a tape gun as I didn't have access to one prior to going into the store. I was told I'd be charged $1 for the service, and asked if he took debit card. The owner promptly hands me back my box and tells me to never come back into his store and called me a joke. Ironic given that this is also a combo magic store. Not only am I incredibly disappointed in my experience, I'm appalled that a customer would be treated like this. If you're going to charge for a service, please expect that people aren't always going to have the type of tender you expect. read more

One of the most rude persons that I have ever encountered in any retail business service. No matter how unpleasant your worst retail business experience(s) may have been in the past, these people will top it. Notice the consistency of like kind horrible reviews. If there were only one or two, then I may consider that it was just the people writing the review(s). That is not the case with this operation and I'm sure that the future reviews (like yours if you heed this warning and venture there) will be just as bad. Absolutely worse experience ever.. took papers in to have notarized, and i had signed a document and said he can't help me, had the worse attitude and didn't even bother to explain or look through the papers .. you would think someone sitting on the computer eating chips drinking soda would want to earn someone's business but explains why this environment is so slow.. I have don't think I have posted a yelp before. This place has got me fuming. I went in to get something notarized and gave him the papers and my ID. I was massed up and had gloves on. He sticks out an i k pad and says he needs my thumb print. I have had plenty of stuff notarized in the past and have never been asked for a finger print. This place is an absolute mess. No hand sanitizer. He is not wearing a mask. Total disaster. He shoves my papers and ID at me and says "GET OUT. YOU'RE DONE. Ste. 5 in Las Vegas, NV 89120 to be the best available price around. I decided to call and talked to the Owner, Wolfgang, is very polite and answered all my questions clearly. I am so happy I found this place. After talking with the Owner that day, I decided to rent the mailbox, this Mail Zone location offers a huge selection of other services and also a very nice and relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of parking. So my wife and I go in because of the reviews and we like to support local business. Sadly the gentleman behind the counter was an asshole and did not have to treat us the way he did. Wife comes in and asks to mail out some gifts for Xmas and he puts them in a box rings her up for a ridiculously high price so she asks him if he can buy the boxes instead and he proceeds to dump out all the gifts on the counter and tells her no! I mean what kind of customer service is that? A simple no would have sufficed but to toss my gifts on the counter (some were fragile) and to treat us in such a manner? It's ok karma comes around my friend thank you and hope all who think about coming here think twice. Would give him a zero if I could. read more

I can understand why they have so many bad reviews. My card was charged 3 times because of an error on their website and when I sent an email, they said "of course you were charged three times" as if creating three accounts was intentional when I specifically said it wasn't working. read more

My buddy and I are both former volunteer firefighters for Clark County Rural Division, we walked in the store to purchase some boxes to ship gifts to family and friends for Christmas and when the owner asked us what size boxes we needed, we werent sure, just knew the size of the gifts going in the boxes we needed not the size, so we pulled the boxes off the shelf like at Wal-Mart or Officedepot across the street. We thought we would use a local business rather than a large box store to help our local economy for the holidays. The owner walked over and rudly asked us not to touch his boxes, we were under the impression they could be handled, since they're on the customer side of the counter. The owner then again very rudly asked us to leave his store. Other than handling the boxes, and not putting them back when rudly told too. Keep in mind no visisble signs that say do not touch boxes or ask for assistance with boxes either, however, we don't know why we were discriminated against other than he doesnt like local support. read more
