The first thing I warmed to was their enthusiasm for small dogs - no problem was the cheerful response.
My companion had his 10 year old pooch with him and loitered outside and wasn't sure if he would be allowed in. This is a been there, done that, got the bone type of doggie. He just curled up and let the humans get on with their foolishnesses.
My human companion is a thespian who can flick from normal conversations to Shakespeare in a multiplicity of accents and languages with astonishing ease. The accents are perfect, language flawless.
We had cappuccino, latte and a scrumptious cakes. The two coffees were very good at about £5.2. I don't remember the cost of the cakes. The atmosphere was relaxed and some folks greeted the totally disinterested pooch as they passed by. A pooch so we'll pampered he is no risk to cafe hygiene or safety.
I noted they offered various sweet crepes and ice creams so next time I'm there I shall indulge a little.
