What a delightful find in the beautiful wilds of Donegal. This place served ace coffees, sausage rolls and other savoury food including quiche, sandwiches and panini's. We chose the soup offering which was sweet potato with lentils, wheaten bread and butter. Good wholesome fare and none of that margarine rubbish.
The one server was very friendly and chatty. Service was a bit slow. There was seven of us so we just relaxed and took in the surrounding beauty.
I was surprised at just how big this place is inside and it was darn cosy too. It could certainly hold a coach tour and it has free WiFi as an added bonus.
It has a sister Coffee Cup cafe business in Buncrana. This place isn't long opened and it gets most of its business from the adjacent and impressive Fort Dunree Military museum on the Inishowen peninsula so it's about 8 miles from Buncrana right by the sea. This is part of the wild Atlantic way and on the day we visited in certainly lived up to its delicious and wild reputation. read more
