I would love to volunteer here for this last month that I will be living in Safford to get some experience working with Exotic animals because I am going into exotic veterinary medicine.

If this I sher best I am afraid to see the worst. My dogs butt was clipped to the skin and has burns from the clippers, the owner told me that is normal. Frustrating when you pay for a service and do not get what you paid for. My review is actually for Kim's VIPet Salon an extension of the feed store. What good is showing a picture of your goal if the groomer is going to cut the dog and make it look like every other dog in town. When I called to speak with the groomer, all she could say was "I guess I didn't look at the picture good enough, and I cut her how we always do, and I will write it on her chart." Don't bother writing anything on her chart because she will not be back. Her face was half way grown out, now that you shaved it, I have to start over and have 2 more months of an awkward stage, thanks for obviously not listening to our wants, and giving us exactly what you give everyone else. Complete with one bow in the middle of the head when we specifically said and showed the picture of one bow on each ear. My dog looks absolutely HORRIBLE and I am embarrassed for her. I will be telling everyone where she got such a horrible haircut, and how bad she smelled and how bad her hair felt, and how I had to bathe right away her when she got home, I guess bathing is not included. It is the worst feeling to pay for something and get nothing close to what you want. Once again a Safford business has failed. Small business owners wonder why we all go out of town for things, this is exactly why. Sorry does not fix what you have done to my dog.

I ended up trying a guinea pig bed (go figure that they have THAT but nothing for toy dogs). Seriously, if I go to Petsmart, I expect them to carry all the hard to get items for all versions of dogs, not just endless aisles of dog food and toys. Also, while I was there I sought UVB bulbs for my aquatic turtles. No available verbiage anywhere to offer advice on watts, size, and what is best for reptiles, turtles, etc. It was simply a blind grab and the price of these bulbs are astronomical, too. Additionally, their prices ARE NOT cheaper than Amazon. Whomever states that is out of their mind, because the Jumbo turtle pellets are $19.99 at this Petsmart and I can get the exact same version on Amazon for $9.99. Not to mention, Amazon has a thousand more versions of everything to choose from. Customer service was not only lame, it was without a smile. And we garnished that from the 3 employees in the store when we approached them (not the other way around despite our endless search which clearly indicated we couldn't find what we were looking for). All 3 did their duty, but not necessarily happily. We opted for Petsmart to give back to the community, but when they charge double the price of similar items online, reduce variety and options...well, face it folks, you are going to end up shutting your doors due to lack of sales. Be competitive! Do something besides stock shelves with the same old items we can now find at Walmart. It was the most boring and disappointing visit we've made so far when it comes to pet stores. What a waste of time and money!

This place is absolutely fabulous. I can't believe I waited six months to get here. I have a…read morethree-year-old standard poodle that weighs over 90 pounds. We have been moving heaven and earth to try to find a harness that properly fits him. We called the shop and spoke with the owner. We described the problem and he said he thought he had one that would fit him. We went down to the shop and the owner patiently went through the options with us until we found one that fit. It was made in America and uses astronaut suit fabric so it stays cool in the summer. The shop is full of delightful options, including top end dog food, fish based treats, honey bully sticks and even has shoes that will cool your dog in the summertime. We are definitely coming back to this gem of a local establishment. And if you're in the area with your canine, I highly recommend you check it out. Five paw review!
