Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in Northern Kentucky. I visit Mai Thai at least 3 times a month with my family. The service is great and the ambiance is tranquil and clean. The food is always yummy with the right marriage of spice and flavor, You can actually taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. I have never had a bad experience here. The only con I have is the fact that they got rid of the crab dishes they used to have on the menu. Bring back the crab fried rice, it was awesome!!! read more

I love this place! My boyfriend and I are frequent Mai Thai goers. My favorite dish is the chicken fried rice, level 3. It is heaven. The vegetables are always fresh. I always have a full drink because the servers are very diligent in refills. I love this place. I'd recommend it to anyone! read more

Mai Thai has been a favorite of ours for awhile now. While we don't eat here monthly, we like to stop in every once in awhile when I'm craving Pad Thai. The place is usually packed for dinner, and we've had to wait a few times. Our last visit we just sat ourselves as they were so slammed and didn't have enough staff to accomidate. My Pad Thai was delicious, but I wish they wouldn't chop the noodles up in a bunch of pieces, the joy of noodles, is the long chewy noodles draped in sauce. However, everything tasted delicious. Sadly, I've been pulled back in 4 different times because the food is so wonderful. However, my husband said he would NEVER return. The first time, at lunch, we waited 20 minutes to get served, now they were busy so I let it go. The second time, we waited 60 minutes for our food. It was delicious, so I let it go. The third time, we just never got served after waiting 30 minutes at our table, not even a drink. We ended up leaving, hence the hubby never going back. I gave it one more shot because my kids really wanted to go, it was good, but again, the wait was incredible after we were seated. read more

My daughter's favorite restaurant, and I have to agree they are very good. You can get an excellent lunch at a reasonable price but make sure you get there during the right hours. They close at 3 and open again at 5, so if you are hungry between those hours you are out of luck here. Dinner is normally fantastic and to-go boxes go out the door with almost every customer. Amazing food and outstanding service. I'm very lucky to have this place in my back yard. The Pad Thai with pork was so good, I considered ordering one to go, for later. Fresh bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, peanut crumbles, tender pork, perfect noodles and a slice of lime. It all tasted so fresh and delicious. Oh... the pot stickers! Be careful of the credit card you use in the restaurant! We visited this restaurant for lunch on July 9 when we visited Cincinnati. After paying the bill, I forget my credit card. I picked up my credit card in the evening of July 9. On July 10 morning, Chase contacted me for a fraudulent online purchase of $277. There must be somebody in the restaurant wrote down or photoed my credit card number and used it fraudly. In my case, my card was left in the restaurant for about 6 hours. But even you don't forget your credit card, they can still write down or remember you credit card number when you pay for the meal. Be careful of your credit card if you have to dine in there. read more

Best chicken pod thai we've ever had! Can choose your own spicy level. We've started to branch out to the curries now and have loved everything so far. The interior is quite nice, wonderful staff, and when we get take-out, it's very prompt and organized. Lunch take-out is a good size, but for just a few dollars more the dinner take-out is a lot more food. We eat here once a week as a routine! read more

There is seriously a lack of good restaurants in this area so to find such a great surprise in this restaurant makes me very happy. This was our first visit we had the Thai spring rolls, steamed dumplings, sesame chicken, peanut house salad, California rolls and fried bananas with ice cream. The food was fresh, moist, no cheap syrupy knock offs, great service and a small friendly environment. We had plenty of leftovers, left very full and our bill was less than $40. read more

I eat here frequently. It's easily the best Thai place in this area. They have a full menu including sushi as well as a bar. The location is intimate and full of Thai decorations. Servings are enormous and the price is great too. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Have never had s bad meal. read more

I have been staying in Florence many nights over the past 4 months. My wife does not like sushi so I always get some when traveling alone. I searched Yelp and tried a total of 4 different sushi places in the Florence area. I tried Mai Thai and it was absolutely the best. Nice atmosphere (although I ordered carry-out), very friendly and helpful staff and the best sushi I had in the area. I had 3 rolls including the "3 Sisters", excellent. I also had a seaweed salad and not only good but twice the serving size as one the competitors. I highly recommend Mai Thai. read more
