Maguro has been a favorite local spot of mine for years; I even remember when they had a location prior to this one. Food and service is always fantastic. Comfortable space with a cozy atmosphere. There's other latin-Asian fusion restaurants around town, but Maguro pioneered this take on food in Orlando. Their ropa vieja bao buns are top notch, always fluffy and never soggy. Our tried and true sushi roll picks are the jibaro soy and pa'bravo yo (obsessed with the cilantro aioli). They're absolutely delicious and never fail to win people over who aren't sushi lovers. We always start our meal with the boricrab salad. Truthfully, you can never go wrong with a meal at Maguro Sushi and I will always come back for more.

Maguro has been on my list of places to try for a long time and I finally made it! When you first walk in it's beautifully decorated and the dining area is very spacious. We were seated immediately and looked over the QR menu. The waitress was at our table within a few short minutes and took our order immediately. Within 10 mins of ordering we received our food. This was the fastest service we ever had at a restaurant and we were ready for it. The ropa vieja eggrolls were really good and filled with tons of meat. We ordered a deep fried pork belly bao which was soft and the pork belly melted in your mouth. We ordered 2 rolls to share one a fried shrimp roll and a chimichurri roll. Both rolls were great! The shrimp roll was light but filling. The chimichurri was fresh and savory. All the flavors in both rolls complemented each other. They also had happy hour and margaritas were bogo which was a nice surprise. All the food was delicious, the ambiance was perfect for a date night, and the service was amazing. Can't wait to come back and try some of the plated meals.

This place is a wonderful hidden gem located right next to Florida Mall. The flavors are exquisite, blending traditional sushi style, with infusions of Latin-inspired flavorings. It can get cold in here sometimes, so bring a sweater. But the dim lights and cool music always draws us back to this place. The main dining room isn't terribly large, so it's easy for the servers to observe you from wherever, and they are pretty polite when they visit the table.

The only thing that saves this review from being a one star, is the food. The food, for the most part, is amazing. We got a sushi combo and all 5 rolls were absolutely fantastic. The birria dumplings were also good. The friend rice we got, I could skip next time. So why the low rating? The service... prior to arriving I called to verify if they were pet friendly. They said they were so we came here to eat. Once we arrived the restaurant was pretty much empty (only 3 tables sat). I came with a party of 5 and a small dog. We were told to wait and took approximately 10 minutes to be sat in a restaurant that was pretty much empty..... then the server tells us that we can't have the dog, to which I explained I literally just called and asked and that's why we came.. our server then proceeded to take another 5 minutes to bring us water and when I tried to order she just walked away. approximately 12 minutes (starving) later our server came over and took our order. A couple that came after us, was sat and with drinks before our order was taken. Once our food came out the fried rice was missing the egg and no soy sauce, wasabi or ginger was offered to us. We had to request these items as well as highlight the missing egg. Overall the food was great, but service needs a lot of improvement

I have always wanted to try this place and went yesterday for the 1st time. The service was amazing and the ambiance as well. The food was so good and flavorful. The ropa vieja egg roll was so good. The rice was packed with flavor. Great concept and the execution was there. I look forward to going back.

I ordered to go and it was absolutely delicious. The bori box is a great deal and the ropa vieja egg roll was amazing. The service was really nice and the restaurant is cute too. I recommend.

I've had this place once before and enjoyed it because of unique latin inspired sushi rolls. Ordered it again and only got one bite in before realizing our tuna was absolutely rancid. Not just kind of fishy or questionable but unmistakably rancid. Really hoping I don't get sick from the one bite but glad it was me who took the bite and not my wife.

Great restaurant that we stumbled upon in the plaza. A few dishes could use just a slight tweet a little sweetness to the roof VA. A little salt to the chicken Katsu. But overall, we had an amazing experience and loved the fusion.

This was an ideal spot for a date night. Great atmosphere and the colors and theme for Valentine's Day weekend was amazing and unique. We have been waiting to visit this place for over a year and I'm so happy we decided to stop in! Our wait time to sit was pretty quick, but they were pretty short staffed so it took some time to get served. It started with our drinks which was la Guaynabita and the guayacol. Both delicious and sweet cocktails infused with lychee and the other with coconut. Paired that with Salmon and Chicken Bao Buns, and two sushi rolls. Rolls were delicious and both were a beautiful display. We ordered the El Noche in Miami which is a mango and avocado infused roll and the Fuego en el 23 which has spicy tuna and avocado. Parking lot is limited , so be prepared if you decided to stop in!

    Awesome sushi.

Our food was delicious. From the appetizer to the sushi, dessert....our compliments to the chef. Love the cushion. Service was great. Our server was very informative on the menu when we asked. Place is very pretty and welcoming. We will be back.

I was so impressed by every single item I tried here. The avocado miso soup is so unique and flavorful. Definitely recommend. We also tried the Sanguichito with tuna, the fried chicken with coconut rice and a roll (that I don't remember the name of). The sanguichito was so crunchy and the tuna tasted fresh. The fried chicken and coconut rice looks plain but was so good we finished it in minutes. Definitely recommend if you like fusion and flavor!

Everything we got was amazing ! Drinks had a a good mix of sake and tamarind flavor for the flavored sake. Our server Amy was very nice and she was on top of everything and recommended good things to get. Food came out fast as well and very unique dishes. Ambiance is very appealing and aesthetically pleasing at night. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Wow I didn't think Asian and Latin could go together but I was so wrong . I found This place on tik tok and the food looked amazing . The bao buns were to die for with an amazing crema that complimented the chicken so well . Next I got the ahi tuna sushi and the spicy mayo was just right . I also got the spicy edamame which was extremely flavorful . The place was deprecated nicely and very clean . Will come back again ! Only thing is it was smaller than expected and only one server but the food came out very fast

My favorites were the mac and cheese, prime rib, shrimp (they were HUGE), crab legs, and the tableside cinnamon bun dessert -- honestly worth the trip just for that. My only downside was that the oysters didn't taste very fresh. Overall, the ambiance was beautiful and it's a perfect brunch spot for a date or a family outing. There was a guy waiting for his order to go, another guy waiting to eat by himself, and another lady also waiting to eat by herself. There was some interview going on between two guys- sounded like it was about the restaurant as I heard them talking about kimchi fried rice. It sounded so good, I ordered that with shrimp.
