Thank you Marcia and team for providing a beautiful space for our family and friends to celebrate our son's college graduation. The brunch was delicious and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Marcia you are a blessing and a beautiful spirit! We will see you soon. Happy holidays!

I love ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE! It is truly a gem of a place! First, the owner is so awesome. She came and checked on our group and made sure we were being serviced well. She also shared her inspiration story! Sojourner and the rest of the staff were super professional, friendly, and patient! They took the time to let us know what was and wasn't available. The food was delicious and plentiful! I ordered the Open Face Salmon Sandwich, Beignets, Scones, and Caribbean Queen Tea! Everything was delicious! I especially loved the scones! They were tender, slightly warmed, and incredibly delicious and the Cherry Preserves pairing was "Chef's Kiss!" Oh but the pièce de résistance were the tea cup setting and the venue it self! The tea cups were gorgeous and the ambience perfect for a tea party. It was clean and welcoming! It truly felt like home and like fellowshipping at my grandmothers dining room table! We didn't want to leave!! It is decorated immaculately! Even the bathroom was pristine!! I will definitely be back as a matter of fact, I can't wait!!

One thing that caught our attention was that we were from out of town and our host was cheerful and delightful, what made this experience even better was one of the owner was there and gave us the significance behind the name of the venue and it bought all the more relevance of enjoying this day out in the square. The music matched the vibes. We definitely coming back.

Next time, they should come out with additional plates for the guest to share. The wife ordered the turkey leg southern. They Turkey leg was good along with the cornbread and greens but the Mac and cheese tasted bland and box made. The cheese did not do it for us. I had the turkey leg original and I added mashed potatoes and broccoli. My complaints are Kayla the waitress did not check on us and make sure we were good until we asked for the check. Our drinks remained empty during the duration of our dinner meals. Not sure if Michael was the owner or who he was but he made sure to continually check on us. We may go back to give it another chance but I guess we will see.

We used to have family in the area, but unfortunately haven't been down here in 5 years as a result of them not being in the area anymore. When we used to stop in, the service was unbeatable. Everyone would treat you like family, and would get you your food fast. Now, since the restaurant is under ***new ownership***, we are not sure if that is still the case. Our server was great (she remembered our family even after 5 years (connected the dots to us)), but the rest of the employees and the community within the restaurant felt a bit stuffy. They used to have the best coffee. It is still good now, but something changed (not quite as good). Their pancakes are unfortunately rubbery, but contrastively, they have great bacon; crisp with a bit of fat, that's how we like it. Their hash browns have not changed one bit. They are still crispy!! Some stuff has changed in the atmosphere of the restaurant. They generally have the same theme, but some of the signs have changed. If you get lucky, you may get to eat your food with Shaquille O'Neal in the restaurant! He lives in the area, and comes in every now and then to get some food and pay for everybody's meal. What a great guy!

I was impressed with the variety of vegetables included in the dish. Upon arriving I was greeted with friendly service and waited comfortably in the lobby while my food was being prepared. While waiting, I inquired about desserts. They had a crumble lemon cake, strawberry cheesecake pudding and some type of Oreo dessert. I opted for the strawberry cheesecake pudding based on the employee's recommendation. Vegetable Bowl over Pasta - tasty, yet somehow still lacking some flavor despite all the sauces on it. I enjoyed it though and would eat again, but not anytime soon. Grade: B Strawberry Cheesecake Pudding - good serving size and very tasty.
