Two weeks ago, I requested a gel pedicure and manicure which is respectfully overpriced. My…read moreassumption is the offered massage while your nails are drying is a complimentary touch that makes up for the price. The technicians massage you for 20 seconds and sit back down. I got an ingrown toe nail and had to have a painful procedure. I have NEVER had an ingrown... my pedicurist rushed to do my toe nails, cut my cuticles and sloppily trimmed the sides. My foot has never been in this much pain. The manicure is already stripped. I only come here because it's local service. I'll sacrifice to go elsewhere, have also had issues with lack of manners from the staff. When they're crowded, I'm not greeted... needs to improve customer service.

Went here for a pedicure and callus removal treatment. I've been here before and thought the…read moreservice was ehh but the staff was cordial...so, I tried it again, because it's local and I won't rule out a place after one visit. But this was the fastest and poorest quality pedicure & callus removal I've ever had. The entire appointment took about 15m, tops. The technician was doing everything so fast I was afraid she would hurt me as she cut my cuticle. My expectations for a pedicure outside of a spa are pretty reasonable, so I was shocked at the experience. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place at all.

I searched through these reviews like the savage I am. I needed a great nail tech on the fly since my private tech is weary about COVID running a muck. Can't blame her but I still needed a set to complete my Halloween costume. I needed a tech who could understand and execute the vision I had. I was certain someone in this shop could do it but still had no clue to go to to do it. The two men were booked and busy. I was originally seated with the pedicure lady but that wasn't going to work for me. It apparently wasn't going to work for her either when I explained my expectations. I was switched over to Lexy, her sister and we were simultaneously relieved. Lexy had a great technique on her shape. Amazing shape. Important to me. Nice sharp, clean shape can make or break you in lack thereof. She blinged out my design because she wasn't feeling my ombre colors (Nude and Electric Blue) lol I forgot to tell her it was for my costume. They came out really pretty and lasted over a month. Still had every stone in tact when I removed them and THAT is some QUALITY stuff there! I would definitely return, with a much better color selection and a dope set in mind.

Overall Service: 3/5 Timing: 2/5 This place really put me in a tizzy. I had a 11:00am appointment the store didn't open until 11:10am. The mani pedi service didn't start until 11:20am. So unsurprisingly I left at 12:30pm. Not great, having to take my noon meeting from salon. Nails: 4/5 I am a mani padi newbie, so I only brought my sneakers. Thus, a gel polish was the only way my pedi would survive. But, did a simple regular clear coat for my nails. I think she did a great job considering the pressure of noon meeting. However, some of my nails could have been smoother. All in all, for $55, this was okay. My only pet peeve was the late start but, I hope to go again for a better experience.

Got there about 10 min late due to traffic. Was still serviced without a problem. My nail tech Barbara was super sweet. I told her it was my birthday and I wanted nice but functional nails because of my daughter and my job -typing. I also showed her an online image of what i had in mind and that i wanted gold/rose gold. Gave her free range. Agreed on stiletto nails and with a bit of input from a coworker I ended up with beautiful nails that I've gotten tons of compliments on. I only removed a star because I did feel like my pedicure was a bit rushed. Not completely my nail techs fault as I was a bit late. Also her next client had arrived. But besides that I recommend highly. Also they are minority owned...which I try to support as often as I can.

I came in here and they were very professional, affordable and precise. It's very clean and well kept and that says a lot in comparison to the other salons in the neighborhood. I wish more people would give this place a review because these people definitely deserve more clientele!!!! Mind you I've had these nails for a month (just been busy) and they didn't lift or crack they faded a little because I've been remodeling but other than that and could probably still hold on if my nails didn't grow so quickly!

VERY clean, great customer service, a large selection of polish colors, brands, and types of polish. Warm and professional customer service, transparent pricing (I mentioned wanting the calluses on my heels addressed and was told the callus treatment is $10 without any pressure or upselling). I opted for a spa pedicure and appreciated the number of options. I chose the lemongrass green tea and found it very soothing. I have sensitive skin and was not irritated by the products used at Nails and Bubbles. They paid careful attention to cleanliness, and the bathrooms were spotless as well (Anthony Bourdain knows) My nail technician was Vicky and she was very sweet and did a great job. The place is nice and clean and after I found out they had recently moved into this location from across the street so this was a facelift. I've only done pedicures so far but each time they have done a great job. The massage chairs are cool if you like that during your visits. Everyone that comes in is greeted the same way by Pricilla and for me that's a big deal. I've been to other spots where when you walk in they either don't greet you so you're confused as to who to talk to or they just rush you to say what you need done. I noticed a lot of ppl coming in and speaking to her like they were old friends which says a lot about how they run business at Lumi. I was getting a nail design by one of the techs and I wanted to get a certain design but it didn't come out exactly as in the picture (didn't look that neat either) and when I wanted to have it in a certain color she insisted it won't look right. But to be honest I think it would've looked better in the colors I wanted the design in. I mean I understand they have opinions since they're experts but let that be a suggestion don't tell people what would look better if that's not what they want. That's my only complaint but other than that, they do my acrylic nails great and though it is a little pricey my nails lasts for 3 or 4 weeks, so its worth it.
