I just trusted her because she had 10k+ followers…read moreon instagram, which I realized after the fact that people are able to purchase followers ‍. Long story short, she glued heavy lashes to my eye lids, put 5 coats of bonder so they wouldn't budge and I felt like my eyes had cement on them. The first night I had them, my eyes were in so much excruciating pain that I ran to the bathroom, turned the shower on high heat to steam the room, and massaged my lids with coconut oil gently. This hurt so bad, whatever this lady did was seriously wrong!! It was hard to sleep that night because it hurt to close my eyes and I ended up crying because of the pain. It was so bad that I ended up going to a lady nearer by who kindly squeezed me in to remove them, which she commented that the work that had been done on my lashes was awful and she was so sorry. The entire experience was honestly very scary. But that's not all! I'm not usually a person to leave one stars, I truly appreciate the work of lash technicians, nail artists, hair stylists, everyone. But what made everything even worse was when I explained the entire situation that had unraveled not even 24 hours after the appointment and politely ASKED if I could get a refund only because I had to pay for someone to remove them and for medicine and such to relieve the pain and swelling/inflammation, she called me immediately and started yelling. She was extremely aggressive and defensive right off the bat on the phone, even when I was reminding her that I appreciated her effort (which was not even true! She did a horrible job that damaged my eyes, I was honestly just trying to calm her down) and was NOT trying to attack her. Whenever I'd try to get a word in, it was "Shut up, let me finish or I'll hang up." It was a nightmare. Truly. No human being let alone PAYING CLIENT should have to be treated in this way. Honestly, my overall takeaway is that the lashing industry can be very sad and toxic! All because of this lady. I didn't end up getting a refund because she was so ridiculous on the phone that it made me take a step back and look at the bigger picture--none of this is worth it and God is watching her! I initially thought maybe I should brush since she used some type of liquid to help them stick. I got home and used my lash brush but the never fluffed. Next day, same thing but they stayed on, the lashes along my lash line hurt. the following day two big cluster clumps fell off my left Eye the side towards my ear. I kindly messaged her and all I said was "hey muffin I hope all is well, I just got my lashes done Saturday and two big clumps just came off my left outter eye" This is the first time this girl responded so fast! Message after message back to back saying "Idk what happened to your lashes, maybe it's whatever you did, I have no idea, but I didn't lash you no different then I do all my clients, I'm not able to do anything, if you want to book a fill you can at your own desire, in 5 years of me lashing that has never happened, clumps?
