Once you sign the contract and pay (cash only, which raised my first red flag ), the promises quickly fade. They completely disregarded my schedule, offering lessons only at 4 am. (yes, am!), which meant I had to wake up at 3 am. If you can't make that work, they bluntly tell you it's your problem. The length of my training seemed to depend entirely on the owner's mood. My lessons stretched over nearly four months, with just one or two sessions per month. Before signing up, I explained that I wanted to learn on a manual transmission. His assistant assured me this was fine, saying many CDL students start without manual experience. I got one manual lesson, but then Norman convinced me to switch to automatic, promising I'd get my license faster and could continue manual training while working for him. This ended up being a trap, as he showed little interest in teaching manual afterward. In the end, I trained for almost 4 months and didn't pass. Lessons were so spaced out that by the next one, I'd already forgotten the previous material. If you enjoy unpredictable experiences, this school might be for you. But if you value your time and $3800 I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Be safe

They learn how to program games which she has a joy of doing. She has been going since Kindergarten at another location. When they get older, the kids can looks in the folder of what other people programmed and add/edit your own version so it's kind of like open source programming. Very passionate about the subject matter, engaging, clearly an expert who has spent a lot of time in the field with lots of stories to tell, and excellent at providing students a very thorough understanding of bush craft, emergency response, and first aid. He makes sure every student who wants to learn gets hands on experience, and goes the extra mile to ensure students have the supplies and support they need to succeed. It was pouring rain during our course and he took the opportunity to show us how to adapt to inclement weather, maintained a positive, friendly attitude, and found ways to still make every moment a teaching moment. I left the course feeling way more empowered and confident in my outdoor capabilities (I can make a friction fire and my own shelter and rope now from found materials!) and with a desire to dive even deeper into wilderness survival skills. Highly recommend this course for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

We were able to customize our learning topics based on our interest and progress. Combined with a small class setting, it feels like having private coding instructions. Our instructor Matthew is very knowledgeable and patient with our young learner. I appreciate the weekly reports about the progress and challenges our student made during each class. Through Matthew, our kiddo learned not just coding, but math concepts and advanced logic. His teaching focuses on exchanging thoughts and ideas with students instead of one-way lecturing. He is transparent, pragmatic, and well-versed in all the coding languages and the programing community that we feel comfortable seeking and relying on his advice regarding areas of opportunity, trending topics, certifications, competitions, or summer camps. The email communication with the school and the owner Daniel is always timely and effective. It's a small and friendly community with like-minded people. Price is reasonable. I highly recommend!

I was in the program from January to April 2020, so everyone was remote and I did not feel left out for being in a different state at all. Cody and Tim Davis were my main instructors and they were fantastic! Really kind and helpful, but at the same time, they provided realistic expectations as to what it's like to be a new developer. I thought the curriculum was well-curated and pretty easy to follow. After graduating, TJ and Cass were extremely supportive and always available, which was helpful for me in securing a job after the program. I read a review that mentioned racism towards Asian females - I just want to mention that in my personal experience, I did not feel any sort of racism towards me (and I am an Asian female). If you are a female, I highly encourage you to apply for a Women in Tech scholarship (if there is one available) because that can really bring down your tuition! One thing to keep in mind is that attending LearningFuze or (any other boot camp) does not guarantee that you will get a job after completion. I have seen many students graduate from the program and then lose motivation and stop coding permanently. The staff at LearningFuze can only do so much to help you and support you with your job search - you have to have the determination to continue practicing and be able to go through the interview process on your own. But if you are willing to take on the challenge of transitioning to a new career as a developer, LearningFuze is the best choice out there!

After researching 10+ bootcamps and much deliberation, I decided to apply for LearningFuze. After passing the technical assessment, I was accepted into the program. Please keep in mind: you will only get back what you put into the program. You'll be pushed and stretched beyond your limits. Get used to being uncomfortable and feeling lost, because that's the only constant you'll have during the 14 weeks of this program. It's not going to be easy, and you may doubt yourself throughout the whole program, but trust the process. The instructors have your best interests at heart and really want you to succeed. Make sure to ask as many questions as possible, study your flash cards, and really take the time to understand your JavaScript fundamentals. LearningFuze also has a great alumni and employer network, and they really go out of their way to help you prepare to find employment after graduating. TL;DR - You only get as much as you put into the program. They have great instructors and career services. Also, make sure to do some self studying of HTML/CSS/JavaScript prior to the program, so it's easier to pick up the concepts.
