THIS is the place to store your valuables! This summer my…read morelife up-ended and I needed a storage facility fast. I walked into this place on a whim and boy am I glad I did! Not only was I greeted by Susan's smiling face and great attitude, but she was able to help me figure what size I actually needed. As I start to load up all of my belongings, I was quite pleased at the cleanliness and security of the entire place. I chose the Climate controlled rooms as I was inserting alot of valuables inside. The price was very suiting as well as they were running a special on some of the larger rooms so that made it an easy choice for me. I frequented the facility at least 25 times in the few months I had to use the room but every single time I came around....the entire area was spotless and I felt very secure. Even when I was done and had emptied out the room, it was all hassle free and easy! I only ever interacted with Susan, but she was amazing! Don't look for the big names, go with a trusted source to keep your belongings safe worry free.

The road was always cleared of snow and there were outside lights for when I needed to go there at dark. The units were clean and they did not leak. The four man team were so friendly, careful, and all of our items arrived clean, safe, and well taken care of. The communication from start to finish was great, and they were even able to accommodate an additional stop with no problem. If you're looking to sit back and not have to stress over your move, I would definitely recommend Bills!

They also worked with a sense of urgency in loading and unloading my items which I greatly appreciated (not careless urgency to finish their day but a realization that I am paying for their time). Pete and his crew were very efficient and accomodating in my every request. I would definitely recommend them for your next move. You read online horror stories about shady moving crews but this was definitely not my experience with them. Based on my experience, this is a quality moving company that is attentive to detail during this stressful event of moving your items to a new house

We used Ferree movers for packing an instate move and their storage facility for one year. The move…read morewent well, and the moving staff were nice and respectful. However, when we had our belongings moved out of storage to our next home, trouble began. Items were missing, such as power cords to TVs and frame mounting hardware for our beds. I had to purchase these items. They did have someone come back and put the beds together. When unpacking we found numerous broken items. Some were glued back together such as a bed post and cabinet drawers to our dresser while others were just broken plates and bowls. They didn't do a good job packing our things and were not organized in keeping items together such as the cords and hardware with the furniture. The worse part was the customer service. I have called over 20+ times and sent emails but have not gotten one response. Once we paid for the services all communication ended. I was only looking to be reimbursed for the broken items that they packed and moved. To me, that would be the right thing to do. They should have contacted me to ask how the move went and if we had any issues. I shouldn't have to spend time out of my day to contact them. I understand things can happen during a move, but there is no excuse not to respond to follow up after a move. If you are looking for movers, I don't think you can trust Ferree Movers of Crown Point to do the right thing if something happens to your furniture, appliances, fixtures, etc. I wouldn't use them again in any capacity due to their unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service.

On a complete short fuse, he also threatened a customer and their family. If he didn't want wear and tear on that business property, then he shouldn't own a business where the public utilizes the space. Don't waste your time with this place.

I asked them to keep the center aisle of my garage space clear and just stack the boxes along the 3 sides, but they did it their way and left no aisle space so now I can't get to anything without moving lots of boxes first to find one I want. Overall they were OK and they were nice and did the job but made my life harder trying to get to things.

In the past they have provided me with emergency short term storage, and not price gouging me to do so, where others most likely will.. Also, while parking my camper I had got too close to one of the buildings, and did a small amount of damage to the roof line. They understood it was a small incident, and fixed the damaged roof, but they didn't charge me, or submit a insurance claim where most all others would.. I find their communication outstanding when it comes to my property. They will call me if they have a question, or concern while looking out for your property at the same time.
