I had a reading with richard and I'm going to be very honest.. I feel like I did not get my money's worth. Everything was extremely general.... "who Is the artist?" "Who is the diabetic"..... threw out some random names of people I did not know..... I was pretty disappointed because I heard so many great reviews online... I just want to give my honest opinion... it was not worth $40 for 15 minutes..... Yes there were some personality traits of mine that he got correct but I really really was looking for something more specific.... I am young so I look like a student.. he mentioned things about me studying abroad... I am 19 and married with a 2 year old little girl and I was hoping he would pick up on that but he didnt... I think he just assumed I was a student considering my appearance. read more

Never had a reading from here but I want one next time I'm in Salem. My review today is for items my husband purchased from Magika over the last year or two. These items include different crystals or rocks herbs and salts, I have used all these items and they have brought good fortune to my home and business. The most beautiful of the things my husband bought from Magika are the unique bottles decorated by a very talented artist, sorry I can't remember her name, but she is wonderful to work with. We have a total of three bottles (need more!) two of which were custom ordered with the help of I believe Lori, who helped my husband reach the artist to get our custom order. Salem is a fun place to visit, make sure that you stop by this store, the staff has always been really good to us. read more

I met with Anthony via phone. He only asked my age and immediately started with my reading. He knew immediately why I wanted a reading and spoke sincerely about my family, romantic relationship, and various issues we were having. I was blown away with how much he knew without asking leading questions or prodding me. He truly has a gift for reading. I highly recommend visiting him and this shop. Anthony is the real deal. read more

Richard was spot on about many of the things he told me! He gave me explanations for things that have happened. He also left me with many things to look for. As I listen to the recording he allowed me to make, I continue to be amazed! read more

I was so looking forward to meeting Lori and having my appointment - I had high hopes because my cousin had a really interesting reading that had some very spot-on things. Lori was very responsive to my phone calls and a neat person. My meeting with her though, was primarily a bunch of names - "who's this... who's that..." - some familiar and others not; a lot of "everybody in the spirit world is happy - they see good for you" type comments... There just weren't enough specifics or spot-on comments to make me feel like this was authentic and real. Several times I was told: stop worrying, good things are coming to you, the people in the spirit world are happy/see good things for you, and, you're going to meet a nice man - kind, generous. That was the bulk of my 30 minutes. Then some of the answers to my questions were so general - and applicable to just about anybody. To be fair, some of what Lori told me is supposed to happen - so if they happen, I'll be back to change my rating! I'm glad so many have had a great reading with her and love her - I really wanted to experience that but it just wasn't there - not that day anyway - and I was kind of sad it wasn't all I'd hoped it would be. read more

Really enjoyed my reading with Richard. He picked up on many specifics and I look forward to his predictions. I hope to hire him for a party soon. Be aware this shop is cash only! read more

Mama Bruno is the "real deal". She has a magical presence and spends much of her time and energy doing charitable work to raise money for children and youth as well as elders. Should you meet her she will leave a beautiful and lasting impression. It's not merchandising it's the experience of joy. Sometimes I bring people into her store just for them to feel that on their own. read more

Magika - Lori Bruno getting ready to be in the Salem Haunted Happenings parade held to entertain the children of Salem. - Supernatural Readings Near Me - Salem, Massachusetts

Worst reading I've ever had My friend and I were very excited to get a reading at Magika. It was her first visit to Salem and we wanted a really good reading. We had researched on online, and Magika got the best reviews over all. When we first arrived in the city, we went right to Magika, excited about our readings. We were disappointed that Lori wasn't there or at least Richard, who we'd read about. But we figured if the other psychic there was approved by them, she must be good based on their excellent reputation. After paying $75 each, I sat down first with the reader, Mary. I knew I was in trouble immediately when the first thing she did was ask me what my zodiac sign was. I've seen a lot of psychics and they have never asked me that. I was hesitant to tell her because I knew she could get a ton of info from that. She preceded to tell me basic traits about my sign that I could get from any astrology book or online profile. Then she tried to look at my ring finger (I have a silver band but it is not a wedding ring) and asked me if I was married! Then she told me I was going to meet someone (after I told her I wasn't married, of course). I asked if she had an idea when and she said vaguely said she saw the number 6. At this point I knew I was getting a cold reading and I had just wasted $75 that I really didn't have. She asked me if I had any questions. I asked her about my ex boyfriend that passed away and she said he was standing right next to me, which made me wonder why she didn't you tell me that BEFORE I mentioned him? She asked me his name and I told her. His name is very Italian sounding, so she immediately exclaimed that he was Italian. I told her he wasn't and she mumbled something about getting Spanish and Italian mixed up. I didn't bother asking any more questions. She kept looking at the timer anyway. After the reading was over, she said she wanted to give me a gift. I thought that was sweet until she gave my friend the same gift after her reading, which was almost identical to mine. I think for the rate I paid I deserved a much better reading. I definitely would not recommend Magika to friends, unfortunately, which is too bad because I was really excited to go there. read more

I go to Majika every time I come to Salem, I absolutely love it here. I've seen Lori Bruno for readings twice, and both times she's been spot on. I love her vibes and how she's just a truly beautiful person inside and out! I only trust Lori with my readings because of how honest she is, and isn't just in it for the money - she has a true gift! She even helped me understand some of the signs and dreams I was receiving from people that have passed on, and taught me how to protect myself and my energy. I can't wait for my next trip back, as well as my next reading with Lori! read more

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Stacey. I was going through a down patch, and my family decided to go out on a limb and head to Salem for some spiritual guidance. We originally went into a different shop and I got a bad feeling. I googled some other places around and found Magika! Everything does happen for a reason because Going to Magika opened a whole new spiritual door for us. Upon entering we were greeted by the sweetest receptionist. We truly felt at home in the shop! Prices are more than fair, and the people make you feel like family. They also have great small take homes. We purchased some candles which We have enjoyed. After having a reading with Stacey we all felt like we needed more!! Stacey also does parties. Not only is she a wonderful card reader, but she also is a reiki master and can work with your charkra. She truly cares about each person she meets and reads cards for. Her readings are honest and comforting. Even when the cards do not have the picture perfect message she helps you work through what they mean. She has helped me to see the best in my current situation, and she gave me the confidence I needed when I was feeling down. We LOVE magika and the whole staff- especially Stacey read more

After reading the many reviews, I made an appointment and received a one-hour reading from Richard. The space is a bit messy and disorganized and spread with statues and costumes. I was greeted and paid before the reading started. I have had many readings and give this a 5 out of 10 as far as readings go. He told me about a couple of friends that would be important to me, a dog groomer and a person from the Hyatt... very strange reading. He wrote things on a piece of paper but none of the reading really made any sense. Save your time and money. read more

Ive had about three readings here with Richard over the last couple years. He predicted last year my current apartment, what it looks like, the location in description before we had even moved there or knew we were moving. He has been spot on with me down to asking me who the "virgo male" is in my life the minute I sat down and describing my boyfriend. I'd like to see Lori sometime in the future. I like the energy in the shop as well it's very comfortable. I have been other places in Salem in the past and the energy at Magika is light/ calming as opposed to the heavier/chaotic energies in other shoppes. This is my favorite place to get a reading. read more

had a really wonderful experience with Stacy. went with two friends and we all had unique and meaningful experiences with her.

After reading the reviews I decided to give this place a shot. My friend and I went in for a 15 minute tarot card reading. It was pricey ($40 each) with richard. The reading only addressed the future and felt very scripted. He was not accurate and did not provide anything about the present or past. When I talked about it after my friends reading, he pretty much said the same lines with different details to both of us. The ladies in the waiting room were there to see Lori and seemed very pleased with her. I would not recommend Richard as it is so not worth the money. read more

If I could give more stars, then I would. I have been going to Lori Bruno for readings for several years, and I love her. She has such amazing energy around her and is so good at what she does. In all of my readings she always gives me specific dates, names, events, and characteristics. And yes, they do come true or I do know what she is talking about. I have a lot of stories about her naming people in my family who have passed, telling me specific dates regarding work events, and telling me about certain things coming. She doesn't ask for any information, but will just say "Who is Lisa and what is her relation to your mother?" (Well, Lisa is a woman I work with and I refer to her as my Work Mother). In the most recent reading, she gave me a specific date for something to do with my work. I told a few coworkers about it who knew about the reading, and what do you know...what she said would happen happened on the specific date. Actually, after it happened two of my coworkers went to book readings with her. She really is just a wonderful woman to be around. She puts you at ease the moment you meet her and will have you laughing in seconds. I have had a lot of friends go to her and all of them come back gushing over their readings. It is important to note that she does book up fast, especially during October. Make sure you try and book out early. She can sometimes be hard to get on the phone during the day, since she does readings. She is really good at calling and confirming appointment if you leave a message. Now get off Yelp and go book with her! read more

Lori is INCREDIBLE! Her warmth and positive energy that she brings to each reading is bar none. She's eerily spot on with the information she's able to retrieve and provide adding, strangely enough, the added comfort needed with trusting such abilities and what the reading says about you. I scheduled a 30 min reading and it only took 15. She answered EVERY question I had before I could ask them. When she did ask me what my two questions were I had none. Before I even sat down she was reading me. I recommend Lori to anyone looking for a legit psychic reading. Since my reading, I've brought a few people to her who were also completely blown away. I see why she is by appointment only. I'm a true fan. Lori, you're the best! xoxoxo read more

I am hoping this review is taken as feedback that was written without malice or ill-intent, but I had a less than stellar reading with Lori. Is she nice? Absolutely. Does she care? I believe so. But my psychic reading felt rushed, distracted and forced. She was distracted by other people coming in and out and even interrupted the reading to talk to someone. People came over to my table and interrupted me to talk to Lori during my reading!! This was completely unusual and shocking to me! She randomly said names that meant nothing to me. When I asked her my question she just told me not to worry and I would be fine. Then cards kept getting shuffled and flipped and she'd point at things and say, "see, all is good." I felt duped and silly and sad. Especially because she gave me a contact date that came and went. I ended up paying her $80 for 18 minutes. Oh and the front desk person bordered on rude. I had never been to this place before and my welcome was less than welcoming. I was excited by all the amazing experiences people shared about their insightful readings. I wasn't one of them and reflecting now, I am saddened by this as I truly wanted some insight by a gifted person. Guess it wasn't in my cards here. read more

My reading with Lori was wonderful. I found comfort in knowing some of the people in my life that have passed on are with the ones they loved here. She knew their names and the names of the people they were with here. She gave me guidance in my personal life about past and present decisions that I have been questioning through the years. She knew names of people in my life and my relationships with them. I left feeling relieved, I wish I asked more questions, but was in awe! read more

Richard is really good!!! By far the best reading I've had yet. I'm so thankful for this experience.

This shop is AMAZING. There's a woman named Debra there, and the spirit of this woman is incredible. She's so wise and sweet, if you're lucky you can get a reading by her. Changed my best friend's life when she read for him. I bought some amazing charged stones from them and I would come back every day if I could. So I guess this place has changed owners and the original owner is no longer running this place. The people who were there when I went were very friendly and helpful nonetheless. Lori Bruno is a real life gem. Speaking to her, is like speaking to a higher power. She is wise, and kind and knowledgable. It is easily to be skeptical when getting a reading... not with Lori. Lori is a hard working, beautiful, soulful human. Her predictions are true and come from her soul. I have seen her 3 times and the things that she says out loud are astonishing. She understands my life on a deeper level than anyone ever has before. She has helped my personal relationships and my business ones as well. Not to mention... Lori told me some numbers to play with in the casino and I won $500!!!!!!! Lori Bruno is a must see and being in her presence is a true privilege. read more

I had met Lori back in 2011 when my father first passed away. From the moment I sat down I felt intense positivity and love radiating from her. The reading she gave me that day gave me so much closure and peace in my heart. Since 2011 I have continued to visit Salem yearly to see Lori. Over the past two years I have not been able to make it to Salem but luckily Lori does phone readings. Every time I have been read by her she is warm and straight forward. You never leave her or hang up without her telling you she loves you and to be blessed! I have gotten read by her son Anthony two times over the phone this year. Both times he urged me to go get checked by a doctor as he seen a benign cyst. He assured me it was not the C word and to please get checked. I did and in fact a cyst was found and in fact the cyst was benign. I can't even begin to describe how much I truly love and appreciate all that Lori and Anthony has done for me. I highly recommend either of them to everyone I speak to. Salem is a four hour ride and I do not mind taking it solely to see them and feel their light and positivity! Thank you thank you to these two amazing souls! I love them both so much!!! read more

Um. Weird as hell. Not the shop itself, but my psychic reading. I had a 15 minute session with Richard, and it was unbelievable. He knew exact names, dates, and places that were significant to me, and was super insightful about my current situation. I was a walk-in (I didn't want to make an appointment because I've always had this idea that psychics look you up on Google or something if you called ahead of time), and right when I walked in the door, Richard mentioned that 'Colorado' is a huge presence in me. That's where I grew up! Are you serious, dude?! Super weird. Of course there were a couple things he brought up that I really didn't have any association with, but he just knew so much. Even if you're not a believer, try it for novelty's sake. It's surprisingly impressive. read more

I booked a reading in August 2018 for a date in mid November for my college aged daughter. We gave it to her as a bday gift and she was so excited. She read up on Lori in the meantime. We live 2 hours from Salem, it is hard for us to get there. We arrived hours early and Lori called to say there was a plumbing problem, could we reschedule for the next day at noon. Ok. The next morning at 10 am, she called again and said she was double booked, could we come at 3. We could not, we had to hit the road before that. My daughter was CRUSHED. We booked so far ahead. All things happen for a reason we told her, but it does not help right now. :( read more

They did a tarot card reading & helped remove negative energy that was blocking my ability to make money in my real estate business. After reading so many wonderful reviews, I was very excited about visiting Magika. Lori was not available so I was booked with Richard. I arrived on time for my 15 min. reading. The receptionist took my name and asked me to wait in a visitors' room. I waited 20 min and finally had to leave because I had another appointment later. When I explained this to the receptionist, she acted like she'd never seen me before and asked if anyone had checked me in. "Yes, you did," I told her. Apparently Richard hadn't been told I was there--he was working with flowers. Seriously, what sort of psychic doesn't realize someone has been waiting to see them for 20 minutes? I don't know when I'll be back in Salem again--what a disappointment. read more
