The newest addition to the Magical Bridges playgrounds in the Bay Area, the Santa Clara Magical Bridge is located inside the Central Park in Santa Clara.
Having visited some of the others in the Bay Area, this certainly feels the smallest in terms of area. The playground offerings are similar to some of the others. Being the newest, the artificial grass is definitely the greenest!
We've stopped by on two occasions, and both times it was pretty busy. We noticed a number of residents from across the street, crossover and come into the playground. So it's definitely convenient for them.
Parking is limited by the crowd at Centra Park. On a Saturday afternoon, we found plenty of parking. However on a Sunday visit, we'd ended up having some trouble.
The swings and the spinning tower area has nice shade from the trees. However the tot section has none. The turf in that area looked like it's been beaten down by the sun. The MB foundation should consider adding in some artificial shade there.
The slides were fun for the kids - though there weren't too many using the strips of Amazon or Pampers boxes to go down the slides - those seem to be a stable at all other MB parks.
Overall, this is a miniature version of an MB playground. A good convenient option for the Santa Clara residents.
