I don't think I would order the chicken again it's like 75%dry chili and 25% chicken. And it under fills the container (I only bought it because the lady showed me the container -but frankly I'm still hungry with a heartburn from the oil+chili. I feel like I paid 15$ for dried chilies). The braised fish with tofu and chilies. Um there were burnt chillies on top. It's not fungus. Like it was charred black. Greasy overall (probably the way it's supposed to be made??) The taste is okay but I just found it cheap on the chicken protein, sells more chilli than protein. Pricewise it was 30$ after tax it could be cheaper. This is one of the more authentic places but no vegetable dish options. But it's time to help small businesses. This place takes cash and debit. So lend them a hand. I've had takeout that left me hungry and very uncomfortable. Help! (I just want to also note I experienced some food poisoning symptoms 48hours after eating take out here)

They dropped off water and didn't come back for about 15mins. After taking our order the server comes back and tells us the grill is closed and couldn't serve us any of the BBQ items. This wouldn't have been an issue but the fact that she took 15mins to even come check on us is what made it a horrible experience. If she checked in on us sooner, we might have been able to order BBQ. Overall the spicy beef noodle soup was amazing, food is very good but the service was not. Had large Soybean paste noodle(about $12), which was very flavourful. The hand pulled noodles were exactly as expected, a bit chewy with some body which really goes well with the flavour of the dish. The vegetables were fresh and arranged nicely (would have liked some green onion as well). The ground beef had a lot of flavour to go with the dry noodles to balance it out (a bit salty overall but that's ok). Portion was good compared to similar noodle places. Had a bit of a wait for food and there wasn't water available (tank ran out, so had to wait a bit) but understandable since it's not a typical restaurant and more of a stall with seating. They also have 50% off on side dishes after 9pm which are worth a try, especially the shredded spicy and sweet potato!

There was an advertisement for lunch specials under $10, and decided to give it a go. Ordered Ma Po Tofu, but asked for it to be veganized (without minced pork). The staff was quite accommodating and that was not an issue with my request. What came out was a generous looking dish with red pepper flakes and a mountain of white rice. It looked really tasty, but the cook must dropped the entire saltshaker in this dish.
