I got Morpheus 8 in Thailand and I wanted a follow up session. Here I am again, 9 months later. I have since found a much better Aesthetic office in Arcata that's an actual medical provider in a medical setting and cheaper. I wanted to give an update on the lump I mentioned in my review. It's still on my chin. Hard as a rock. I still question what the actual ingredients were in the filler, since it should have just been absorbed back into my body. Now I have to live with the worry that it will get bigger or cause a medical problem in the future. I've not touched that spot for a year in hopes that it would just slowly fade away. It's just under the skin's surface and about the size of a small marble. Today, after thinking about it, I decided to see if there was anything I could do to make it go away. I thought maybe heat would warm it up and make something happen. I used heat from the hair dryer and my thumb. Gently pressed flat for several minutes, also keeping the heat from my thumb over the entire area. What do you know? Now its been flattened out like a pancake (size of a quarter now), and it's still hard. I will be asking my professional aesthetician if they have any insight on this. Now I have to monitor this for changes. It's been in my body for 9 months, unchanged, and now due to the instant change in the shape, it's apparent that is not a natural substance. Eventually I foresee having to spend money to correct this, and hopefully it CAN be corrected. Please know the risks. As you can see from the provider's original response to my concerns, there is no accountability and there was never any offer to make it right.
