It's about…read morethe same as what I pay at Ivy Day Spa in Santa Clarita, and it's cheaper than most hotel spas. It's less than half the price of Spa Ojai. The Float Spa itself is really really small. However, booking a massage gets you free self-parking, and you get a pool key for the day. The pool has a bar where you can mobile order food and drinks right to your seat. It's expensive and takes a long time though. Save it for after your massage for sure. Why only 4 stars? Well, there is no locker room, which I would have really appreciated. Just bathrooms to change in. They are nice enough, but I would have liked a locker to keep my stuff in so I didn't have to drag my clothes with me around all day. Also, I said medium pressure, but my version of medium seems to be that therapists version of light. I did say when she started that I do actually like a little firmer pressure, but it didn't change much. Not a deal breaker though. It was still an incredibly relaxing massage.

This was hands down the worst massage experience I've ever had. The staff was nice, the room was…read morefreezing cold. I don't know the therapists name, but she started the massage with nice pressure and then the lotion came. Freezing cold lotion. She did turn on the table warmer but it was freezing in the room and no lotion/oil warmer. They turned off the air- it was BLASTING in the room but I couldn't relax being rubbed with freezing lotion. In addition to the cold- the therapist had either long nails or calloused hands I could feel with every stroke! So gross to feel scratching when I'm trying to relax. I couldn't handle for 10 minutes let alone 75 minutes. Awful.

Other than just being so kind and such a beautiful human, she truly wants to give each costumer exactly what they want. For instances, I was requesting very specific french tips for my manicure and she tested 3 different kinds of whites for me to choose from and tasted different shades of nude color and waited for me to make up my mind!!!! With each nail, she asked what I thought. I adore her and her work so much I even had her do my nails for my engagement photos!!!!! ALSO HUE'S PRICES wow they are so kind to someone like me living on a post grad budget. The one thing I want to be clear about: if you prefer a super chic, boujee, top-notch-clean salon- this isn't that. Come here for a fair price and for high quality service and nails I guarantee you'll be happy with. Hue will ASSURE you love your nails before you pay!

Today was the first time I've ever been charged extra for a "curl/flat iron," even though my hair wasn't curled or flat ironed at all. The haircut itself was nice, but the blow-dry was honestly really bad--it looked like I tried to do it myself and failed. I didn't say anything in the salon, but when I got home, my friends pointed out how bad it looked, which made me realize I wasn't overreacting. Overall, I do like this salon, especially for walk-ins. If I had to rank the stylists I've been to: Madeline is definitely #1--she did an amazing job with both the cut and styling, and there were no random extra charges. Abel also did a great job with my highlights. Katie and Heather would be tied. They're both very nice, but Katie cut my hair noticeably uneven--I even had coworkers telling me not to go back to her, which is why I stopped coming to the salon for a while. Heather did a good job with the haircut itself, but the styling was not good. I wouldn't have minded as much since I planned to redo my hair at home anyway, but being charged extra for styling that didn't turn out well is frustrating. I was actually going to ask to skip the blow-dry, but she said she needed to dry it to see how it laid and refine the cut. If it had turned out good, I wouldn't have minded the upcharge--but paying extra for something that looked this bad is really disappointing. And the extra charge wasn't explained it almost seemed like she was trying to sneak it in as she whispered to the receptionist to help her add the charge. If I return l be sure to only schedule my appointments with Madeline (:
