REVIEW: I was finishing up at Firehouse Subs and knew it was time for some self-care. First timer here and it was a fine enough visit. It was a basic experience. I opted for a foot massage and it was just OK. I see the many 5 star reviews here and am not sure what I missed, but I probably won't be back for a second visit, just for me personally. I was greeted after a moment or two; I asked about the pricing for the foot massages, and then a gentleman gave me the most basic foot massage. The intuition and experience of these therapists is incredible, and they're so good at adjusting pressure when I need more or less. No one is overly chatty but there's no awkward silence either. Horrible!! My adult son does not drive so on Monday, 22nd, I took him to sun spa and massage to get a 1/2 hour foot massage and a 1/2 hour back massage. When He came out to the car.He said he felt worse than when he went in. The pain in his back kept getting more serious and by the next morning.He could barely get out of bed. I gave him Tylenol and a heating pad. But he didn't sleep that night. Two days of inactivity and lots of pain. On wednesday I looked at his back and it was horribly bruised and swollen. I took pictures and went back to sun spa. The man greeted me and asked if I wanted a full body massage. I showed him the pictures on my phone and told him what had happened. He told me he did not speak english and got out a phone translator to tell me that that was not from them. He argued.I've got another woman who also did not speak english. I only wanted his money back and for them to know that 1 of their massage therapist was. Not qualified to massage. I left and got nothing except that wasn't us. Please stay away. Second time visiting this establishment. First time wasn't too bad, decent massage at a decent price. This time was a whole different experience. I just wanted to do a 30 min foot massage, to which he wanted me to pay before the massage, and asked me hoe much I wanted in tip. I told him that I would not be doing that, and was ready to leave, but he said never mind and took me to do the foot massage. I asked for extra hard pressure, but there was next to no pressure even after he confirmed hard pressure. It was basically 30 minutes of lightly rubbing the instep (inner arch area) of my feet, with no massaging of any other parts of the foot. On a side note, not quite as relevant to the massage... The blankets/sheets smelled VERY strong of scents/fabric softener, I still smelled it on me hours after leaving, so if you are sensitive to scents or fabric softener smells, be careful using the blankets/towels they offer. read more

When we were leaving we had tipped our girls... And the man insisted that we must give at least a 20% tip. The man pointed to the sign that is attached and said that we must give more. A tip is whatever I want to tip I shouldn't have to be demanded to tip more. So that is very unprofessional. Super rude! Owners... Sometimes you definitely feel ' I got what I paid for' when while getting massaged you: - hear the phone ring - conversations taking place between employees - the person getting a massage in the room next to yours snoring away because the rooms don't have doors only curtains - your masseuse quietly belching out his last meal (yes this has happened more than once) - the worst - at the end getting wiped down with scratchy paper towels. Not here. It was quiet, peaceful, there was a door to my clean room, no scratchy paper towels and Vicky my masseuse was wonderful (no belching). The creams/oils they use here are higher quality and Vicky gave me a great 90 minute massage for $70 (cash)+ tip. I recommend bringing cash so you don't pay the cc transaction fee. But sadly, tragically, this place has new management. Now if you come here, expect a mediocre massage at best. Expect that your masseuse will be on the PHONE - watching, or texting. wish i could give this place 0 stars. i got a massage from this place yesterday, as soon as i showed up the guy proceeded to tell me what to pick and demanded payment so i went with his selection of massage and paid wich i found odd cause i usually pay at the end of every massage anyway he picked the deep tissue massage for $60 and $62 with card well i paid with card. i then proceeded to the massage room, the only issue i had with her was that she was putting really hot stones on my back to the point that i screamed saying they were too hot , she left to rinse them with cold water came back to use them on me and they were the percet temp hot but not skin removing hot. at the end of the message she proceeded to thank me and left i supposed to another room to massage someone else since or i suppose since she was in a hurry.i got dressed and proceeded to use the restroom before leaving. i noticed the guy harassing me outside the restroom so i proceeded to head towards the exit door only to find the lady who gave me the massage restricting the exit door for me demanding more payments or (tips). at that point i felt deprived of my freedom she wouldn't let me out and if i tried leaving she would stop me yelling "no no no" trying to grab me. i told them i never run my card twice and i had already paid. she proceeded to get really nasty saying "she gave me a service!!!!!" i replied with "and i paid! My deep tissue massage was amazing! I popped in super late and desperate to find relief after finding out my usual massagers closed up their business. I took a chance and was assigned to Cece (not sure her spelling) and OMG she did amazing! It was an actual deep pressure that relieved all the tension and loosened up my muscles. She was right on point with all the zones where I'm usually super sore. I'm not an easy client because I require a lot of pressure and she was committed the entire 60 minutes. My friend told me her coworker said he had the best foot massage here. I really was skeptical of these Asian so-called "massage parlors" hmm... I regrettably went anyways. We walk in a man at the desk looked at us and we asked if we could get foot massages he said yes and we said "feet only?" he said yes. He shouted out to some orders and a couple of women came up and took us both to this one dark room and had a sit on the end of a massage table I thought this is weird. Neither of them spoke to us. They left us there for 10 minutes came back with the bucket of water made us put our feet in them and lay back. I told my friend this isn't a foot massage. It was a crappy "body" robot massage with clothes on it made my back hurt with my feet hanging over the end of the table in a bucket. They took the bucket away left for 10 minutes do you know how awkward it is just sitting there? They massage her feet for about 10 minutes and then everything was over. When you go up to the front and pay I said to the man we wanted foot massages not this weird body massage. He shrugged pointed to the menu and told us how much we had to tip, the nerve! This was the worst foot massage I have ever had. I specifically said I foot was sore and hurting which is why I came. The man doing my massage focused on my calves more than my feet and dug his thumbs into my calves so hard I kept wincing and was obviously in pain. He kept rubbing my calves. I kept waiting for the foot part but he would Barely touch them and I am well pedicured so that wasn't the problem. He even left me in the middle of the massage to answer the door for someone else so walked in. Seriously? There isn't more than one person working there in the evening?
