I'm so sad and disappointed in my experience yesterday at Magic Nails. Nothing magic about it. I used to go here years ago when I lived near by and it was just ok. We're back for a week and I regret going. The man (the only one working yesterday). Was very snappy with me when I went to check the calluses on my feet. He said "stop! Trust Me I'll get it smooth". He did a very lousy massage if you could even call it That. He Left Polish on the skin around my big Toe that I had to ask him to remove. He and one of the women talked in their native tongue ALOT and was inattentive to details. And he was so sloppy when applying my gel polish on my hands. I had to ask him if the polish would peel because he left some on the skin around my nails. He said he'd remove it, which he tried to do with a file, and he was hurting me when he was literally filing my skin and not my nail. The polish I picked was bright orange and it's applied unevenly. Looks more like ombré effect because it's almost Sheer near the base of the nail and very think at the tips. This is very disappointing. I almost Cried when I got to my car! He is burned out and needs to take a break or change jobs! read more

While my gel manicure was great, I asked for a simple design detail, even brought in a picture for reference, and they were unable to recreate it. They did it on one test nail and I asked them to just not even try on the rest. I also got a pedicure that same day, and I was incredibly disappointed. They trimmed my nails unevenly and failed to leave them feeling moisturized. All in all I was very disappointed and would not give them a second chance. read more

Simply the worst experience I've ever had. I started a pedicure with a girl who was relatively new. She identified herself as a trainee and I accepted. She did an OK job with the soaking, foot scrub, loofah portion. When we got to polish it all went horribly wrong. I picked out the perfect color to match my bridesmaid dress. The paint job was a mess. Seriously, my 10 month old could have done a better job. I signaled the technician next to me to offer help to the trainee and she ended up offering a whole lot of Italian, big hair drama. She was yelling at her, and nothing, I repeat, nothing was done about my nails! I had four coats of horrible nail polish to scrape off. Don't go here. It isn't relaxing or fun. It's the nail salon version of Real Housewives. read more

Was in town for an event and need to waste some time, popped in for pedi and brow wax. The establishment was warm and clean with self serve coffee service . Short wait time, the nail tech Thresea , was charming professional and patient. She had a gentle touch with my brows. Only wished I lived closer so I could come back. read more

It was a good experience except that they charged ME 8$ more than my friend, only bc they used a scrapper on my heels during my pedicure. 8$!!! I get the same service at many different salons including in Chicago, and they NEVER CHARGE ME. I was so mad. read more

Very clean and friendly. I needed a pedicure before going out of town and stopped in on my way home from running errands. I got in with no waiting. I liked the chair with massage options. I really liked the tv on the wall. It happened to be on a channel I enjoyed so I don't know if I could have changed the channel or not. The price is what I expected and the pedicure was really nice. After the nails are cleaned of polish and all trimmed up, you get s sugar scrub on legs and feet and then a nice warm towel and a hot stone on the bottom of your feet. It was really enjoyable and I like my pedicure. I will go back. read more

Loved my nails! I have been back 3 times and have my 4th appt. already set up! I am getting "fills" about every 3 weeks and have NO issues with them lasting the entire time in between! 1st visit was to have nails done before my son's wedding. Then I had them done for the holidays (twice) love, love, love the freehand artwork Maryann did for me! I have had MANY compliments on my nails! I would recommend this salon to anyone! read more

Horrible. Although they did take myself and my daughter as walk ins. My nails that they did literally lasted two days. The curvature of my nail bed of my fake nails were horrible. Bumpy and not even. The tips basically sheared off and the corners were already lifting as soon as I left. I had to go home and reshape them to MY liking even after asking for how I wanted them. Also my daughter got her toes and nails painted. The polish was all over the skin of her toes and the design was sloppy. Can not believe I paid for that. She could have done better herself snd shes 6 years old. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I have tried this place three times. Once at the old location in Lakeville where they were very rude, and twice at the new location in Lakeville because it was convenient. First visit was just OK. Then I tried them a second time and was very disappointed. I ran into a friend whom I wanted to sit next to so that we could visit. I was rudely told by the owner that I could NOT sit there and had to move 6 chairs further away. Ruined the whole visit and the nail work (toes and fingers) was just so/so. Won't go back OR recommend this place. There are other nicer and friendlier places in the area. Linda B. read more

I went there to get French tip acrylics and they got me in right away. They were really nice but after the initial walk in it went askew. At first the technician screwed up my thumb nail and had to retry twice. I don't remember having a manicure hurt so badly. He cut my cuticles with unsanitized cuticle cutters and ended up making me bleed. Then he proceeded to put them away unwashed! When he was all done my I had to go home and reshape my nails to get them even and the same size. Then the whole rest of my day I could barely touch anything from my actual nail bed being in so much pain. Even a day later they still hurt to you the point that it's hard to move my finger tips. I would definitely not go there again and will find a new place. read more
