I got in quickly and did not have a long wait time. I was excited to go back as I was new to town. The second trip I had a decent wait time, this time I was helped my an older gentleman who was far less friendly. I did not think much of it initially but the longer the visit became the more uncomfortable I became. He was very to the point and rough with my hands. Again, they were slightly busy so I did not think much of it. He asked what shape I wanted and I said almond. He shaped the first nail (pinky) and asked if it looked good. I asked for it to be a little more round (he had them slightly pointy similar to stelleto). He corrected it and got to the second nail. He shaped the second nail and I realized he was making them just round and I wasn't happy with the shape. I asked if he could make them more almond shape and that I did not love the round shape he was making them. He dropped my hand and in the most disrespectful tone possible said " You said round." (I AM A SHY PERSON BY THE WAY, ONLY THIS YEAR HAVE I FOUND THE CONFIDENCE TO SAY I DONT LIKE SOMETHING IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY INSTEAD OF JUST DEALING WITH SOMETHING I DONT LIKE THAT I PAY FOR) shocked as I am, I corrected his incorrect statement "I asked for them to be a little more round" his response was " then why did you say this one (grabs my pinky shaking it) looked good when I asked?" fair question. the pinky looked good, the second did not. I answered "because that finger looks good." he said "yeah it looks good we go round." I take my hand, at this point about to cry and contemplating walking out (never done that) "no i dont want round nails." " so you want them to be square?" he says. MIND YOU WHOLE TIME THERE IS A PICTURE OF NAILS AND NAIL SHAPES ON THE WALL NEXT TO US.... "No i want them almond shaped, I do not want them flat on top of to have 90 degree angles, i do not want square nails." I should have left because the man proceed to file all my nails down to nothing and make them round. (remember how i mentioned my nail growing journey) sounds silly but I was devestated. I used to never take care of myself and get my nails done and this was such a big thing for me to do and enjoy myself. Unfortunately, instead of saying anything I allowed him to finish. On the verge of tears the rest of the visit I did not say another word. I had a pedicure the same time and the lady did well, did not talk except to ask for color and try multiple times to upsell a more expensive package. Her work was fast and felt rushed but toe nails looked good. Was less than relaxing. After this service I cried in my car. Would not recommend this place unless its a last resort. I hope that little sweet gal is doing good.

We made a reservation for three of us at 6:15 pm on a Wednesday night for mani/pedi's. None of us had artificial nails applied on this visit. They were kind enough to accommodate us so late in the evening and we did not feel rushed through. I do not generally care for this kind of service. I feel like often they are too rough, or maybe not welcoming, but this was not the case here. The three in out party and the manicurists all chatted from time to time, the massage was nice and the whole experience was enjoyable. There was a concern with the color of gel polish I chose because it was different than the sample. It was fine by me, but they checked in with me about it right away and talked to each other over it. I could have easily changed to a different color and in plenty of time. So, communication was good. I am only deducting a star because the environment could use some sprucing up. A fresh coat of paint and reupholstered chairs could really help. Otherwise, I would go back. It was what it should be, relaxing and a fun time with friends, oh, and my nails look great also.
