I have been going to JJ for more than a year. The quality of work and speed are excellent. I also have brought my kids to get manicures and pedicures and they're always great with them as well. I was surprised to see that there were some negative reviews out there about upselling. I've never experienced any upsell pressure. They always communicate if something you're asking for will cost extra, which is something I would expect. I don't post a lot of reviews, but it's tough to find a great nail shop in this one is a keeper. read more

100% recommend. I would trust Sandy with any and all things nails. I often get a fill & a design - she kills it every single time! Kind, professional, always down to do something fun. Getting my nails done here was a wonderful experience, and my nails looked fabulous. Even my husband likes to get a pedicure here.

It's simple things that this nail salon does that makes it a cut above the rest for me. One of those things is simply smiling and saying thank you. If you have a wait they will say sorry and thank you for waiting. It's those small things that matter to me, because so many nail salons are just plain rude. They are quick with their work and fairly consistent. But a big complaint of mine is that I question how sanitary they are. For a dip polish, everyone's fingers are dipped in the same jar for example. I just don't think that's very clean. I'm not sure if it matters. read more

Very fair price point and great customer service! I got powder dip nails with tips and a pedicure. I immediately got a seat for my pedicure. The woman working on my pedi asked if I'd like anything to drink while she put a liner in the tub and made sure the temperature was comfortable. I have not had a pedicure in years and my feet were in rough shape, she made them summer ready. I did have to wait a few minutes at the drying table before I could get my nails started but I'm patient so that's ok. The man doing my nails was easy to talk to, thorough in his work and made sure I got what I paid for. It did however take quite some time to get the nails completed because he was answering all the calls and taking all payments. It got busy while I was there so you can imagine how long it took. He did apologize for repeatedly having to stop. I went with a friend who got a dip fill and pedicure and she was done 45 mins before me so that was a little inconvenient. I would give zero stars if possible. I stopped going to this place because the work done there is pathetic. I had a mani/pedi done once. For the pedicure, the paint job was horrible! I could have done it better myself. The manicure, first time was ok, I got dip done. The second time I got a manicure was my last; the dip was extremely thick, bumpy looking and just not right. I ended up using another nail salon to get the dip taken off and it took them an hour to remove!! Getting your nails done is a luxury. It costs too much money to have your nails done improperly! Have went here several times. I called for an appointment and if they were too busy I rather they have told me to come the next day. I get there she puts me in a chair for a pedicure just to wait for someone for 20 minutes. I had to sit on the side of the chair no water was even started. He rushed the pedicure and did not get all the dry skin even after I showed him. Put toe separators on with no spa shoes and color was not right. Tried another color and it's just as horrible. I would rate this place a 0 if I could. Walked in and wanted a fill on my French tip w/pink ombré and was pressured several times to do a dip or solid color. I rejected at least 5 times. Very unprofessional. Once I was seated I told the woman what I wanted and she still tried to completely remove my nails and give me a new set. She realized her mistake and quickly fixed it, but lacked in the skill of doing an ombré. I refused to leave until she fixed my nails and told her it looked like trash. She insisted they looked great (see attached photos) But, She repainted them anyway and they still ended up looking terrible. The man who pressured me at the door asked if I liked the ombré then noticed I had a solid color and asked what happened. I told him it looked like trash and I had her fix it and showed a photo and he laughed and said "I told you that you should have done a solid color" then he walked away. Worst experience EVER at a nail salon. I will NEVER come back here. I hope whoever reads this review let's it be their deciding factor on their visit. This place lacked in so many areas. I attached photos of the "pink ombré with a French tip" so you can get a visual of what this actually looked like. I ended up going to target, getting a home kit and fixing it myself afterwards. This place is the bomb! Lanna who gave me my pedicure was wonderful. Her foot massage included hot stone and reflexology. I was on a mini vacation with my daughter so yes, I did spurge and got the full all out pedicure but sooo worth it. I chose here because of other Yelp reviews. All are right in loving here. The only reason I'm giving Jan Spa and Nail only 4 stars instead of 5 is because we had a long wait. So beware when visiting. I believe the long wait was because the are so good in the area that they are that busy. read more

Decent nail salon, took my niece to get her nails done. She got a regular manicure and I got gel polish only (I don't like cutting my cuticles). Hers was $17 since they did an "Ombré glitter" on some nails. Mine was $20. Good price point. My only problem was they filed my nails with what looked like a dirty nail file, and dirty nail buffer. Not sanitary. Not the cleanest mani or gel application but not terrible. I'm not from the area, but if I was I probably wouldn't go back. read more

The manicure I received was neat and well-done. However, the customer service and courtesy were lacking. The technician I sat with said my full loyalty card was old and worth nothing, made it sound like it was my fault for not coming in sooner (as if you should be embarrassed if you don't get your nails done regularly), and barely spoke to me except about how long it had been since I'd gotten my nails done 'properly' and to push for more services. The majority of the time, she was either on the phone or speaking with other technicians, and since I didn't speak the language I couldn't understand or participate. It was unwelcoming and made it seem like my business didn't matter to them at all...message received! I will be finding a new salon. read more

Probably one of the best pedicures I've ever had! The salon was very clean and the employees were friendly. I stopped in at 5:30 on a Saturday night and I only had a very short wait. Had a great experience today! I had a dip manicure done in a different nail salon that I was not happy with and they provided a complete brand new dip for $45! They did a substantial amount of work removing the old manicure and did so at a reasonable price. Great experience with friendly staff! read more

This is an excellent salon and I was especially impressed with their attention to detail in both my pedicure and manicure. I tried a new service call Dipp, basically a pink and white manicure but it has very smooth results and totally natural looking. I had Jasmine to do my nails and she was both professional and very detailed in doing my nails. She speaks perfect English if that is a concern. read more

This place is great. Went on a sat at 230 and the place was hoppin. Only had to wait about 10 min. Van gave a great pedicure. I was in the chair for a solid hour. I went in with an appointment time, was seated quickly. No pressure on what service i wanted or upgrades. On my pedi she burned my leg with the stones, she apologize but after another burn with the towels on my feet. On my manicure, i wanted a gel, and it only lasted one day before the paint started chipping. She was too much in a hurry to get the next person. I did not get a discount for my burn feet or leg. I have been to this nail salon twice now. The people there are wonderful. I had the deluxe pedicure today and it was heavenly. The massage on my legs felt incredible. I didn't realize how tight the muscles were! The lady who gave me my pedicure took her time with my massage and I really felt pampered. I've been to many, many nail salons and this is my 100% favorite. Most salons when you go in have a strong odor but not this place. I only smelled that particular scent a couple of times for a short bit in the 90 minutes I was there and it was BUSY. I would without hesitation recommend this place. read more
