We came to Magic Mini Golf on one of our last days of summer break. I was thankful they were open in early afternoon during the week. We bought a round of mini golf for two adults and two kids which was a little steep at $40. The space is really great though and the holes are unique raised boxes that were truly works of art. You get 18 holes which is nice but they are short so just a couple of strokes for each one. But I love supporting a local business that truly puts St. Louis flare into the experience especially on the Delmar Loop! It looks like they also have a full bar, small food menu, and shuffleboard available. I would definitely come back again!

This place was the coolest! Also had little spots for you to put down your drinks

This place was such a great place for our after dinner date! Six beautiful artwork, and it was so creative. Loved being able to play putt putt on them. Service was kind and great. Can't speak on the food but walked past someone with the pizza on our way out and it looks so good!

This was a fun place for a group party. Shuffleboard and mini golf was fun but the Ferris wheel wasn't operating which would have been fun. But it's a cool space, wasn't rushed by other people on the mini golf course, and they had a lot of options for food and drink

Magic Mini Golf in St. Louis, Missouri, is on the vibrant Delmar Loop. I am so proud of STL! Let's start with the iconic 27-foot tall animated neon sign and marquee (is this Vegas?). This spot is an experience unlike any other. It's got an 18 hole indoor miniature golf course, two full-size shuffleboard courts, a 5-car Ferris wheel! Kids and big kids (adults) come one; come all. There's more. Bring back the nostalgia with arcade games, including pinball and basketball. The spot is further adorned by vintage magic posters and display cases of golf memorabilia. Hungry? They have a killer pretzel, vegan dog, so many pizzas and sandwiches. If you thought I was done, I'm not. You can also get married or renew your vows here in their wedding chapel.

Fun indoor mini golf. It's not a tough course, very kid/family friendly. Nice bar. We didn't eat but the menu looked good. Plenty of veggie options. The staff were very friendly. They keep the place extremely clean. I'd return.

Great Afternoon fun! Came for a kids Birthday Party. Course is small but perfect for a party or for just hanging out for a bit without tying up your entire day with a huge outdoor course. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, there was plenty people on hand to accommodate customers. Kids liked the Pizza, STL style 14" pizza. Will definitely come back and hang out at night time also.

I love this place, Vegan options are yummy and the mini golf and Ferris wheel are so cute! It has a cool vibe and is a great place to hang out with friends or family. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely check it out!

There's a charming patio out front, if you want it. You can settle in for a long dinner, post up at the bar for the night, or grab a quick bite before heading out on the town. Bartenders are warm and approachable, and the in-house mixology is confident without any "we spent 30 hours perfecting this" pretense. The whole experience is like Sam Malone the bartender (save the drama) at Cheers: friendly, self-assured, the kind of place that makes you feel like you could spend all night there without anyone rushing you. We had a Paper Plane and an Old Fashioned -- the latter served over a custom ice cube stamped with a double ax (a nod to the wood fire). The cocktail list leans classic and reliable: if you know you like gin or vodka, you'll find something easy here. The espresso martini is the standout, it works as a dessert drink or any other time of the meal. We started with the Smorgasbord instead of our usual garlic knots (which are their own delicacy), and it didn't disappoint: toasted brioche with mascarpone and strawberry jam, several cured meats (capicola, prosciutto, pepperoni), parmesan, gouda, dried cherries, and chutney. My one nitpick; the pepperoni and gouda were tiny cubes, which makes them tough to grab cleanly compared to the sliced parmesan or rolled prosciutto. In this situation give the man a toothpick. The tallow-fried wings are, in my opinion, the best in St. Louis. The beef-tallow-and-potato-starch breading produces a tempura-like texture and crunch that keeps them light. Adventurous-but-classic sauces, bourbon butter BBQ, buffalo, and pineapple honey habanero (legitimately spicy; bring backup). The wings stand on their own without sauce. For pizza, we got the Napoli (tomato, fresh and smoked mozzarella, arugula, parmesan, black pepper, olive oil) -- her standing favorite. Expect proper Neapolitan: soft center, thin crust, charred crisp edge. Don't lift and bite fold it. (She insists: no fork. I use a fork - I know how dare I!) The pizza menu reads creative but never gimmicky; meat-lovers, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-conscious diners all have real options. Before Kyle took over, Pizzeoli was known as a vegan-forward spot, and that flexibility lives on. We closed with the seasonal ice cream sandwich, fresh-pressed pizzelle wafers, crème brûlée ice cream, and a torched marshmallow cap. Excellent. A couple of practical notes: they're dinner-only (4-9:30) and the new reservation phone line is a robo call. Easier to use the online waitlist or book online directly. Pizzeoli is dressed-down-or-dressed-up friendly, kid-welcoming, and somehow works equally well for a pre-game stop or your dinner of the week. I've never had a bad dish here, and there are several I come back for specifically -- Lesley for the Napoli, me for the wings. 4.9 stars out of 5. If that toothpick shows up, a perfect 5. ;) Worth the trip across town, an hour drive for a long dinner, if it were open for lunch, the suggestion for two trips in one day would be welcomed or two-days in a row.

Parking is easy within a block or two. Outdoor, booth, and table seating is available. My husband had the gluten free pasta because it is also vegan, and no lie and true to form, it was delightful and light! The tomato sauce is Perfection: not too acidic, not too sweet, letting the grand yet humble tomato shine. I chose the puttanesca, one of my favorite traditional Italian pastas. I would order this again!! Had plenty for lunch the next day. Not to be left out: the toasted ravs and cannoli. I've had a few T-ravs since moving to StL, and these are excellent. The tomato sauce for dipping, once again, is a real treat. The cannolis? Precious, flaky, and dreamy. I ate one at our table and took the second bad boy home. FIRE.

While traveling through Missouri, my wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner. I searched…read moreYelp and came across Anthonino's. I also remembered seeing it featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so we figured it had to be worth a try. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but noticed a few open seats at the bar and asked if we could sit there instead. The two bartenders welcomed us right away and told us they would take good care of us throughout the evening. My wife ordered an iced tea, and I started with an Old Fashioned. For an appetizer, we ordered the Toasted Ravioli ($14), which is handmade in-house and filled with ground beef, ricotta, and pecorino romano cheese, served with marinara sauce. It's one of the dishes featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. For dinner, my wife ordered the Chicken Marsala ($23), and I went with the Bolognese ($17), made with veal, pork, red wine gravy, cresta di gallo pasta, stracciatella, and Calabrian chili oil. The toasted ravioli arrived looking great. I tried one without the sauce first. The fresh pasta didn't fry up quite the way I expected. It was more flaky than crispy, and I was hoping for a little more crunch. The filling was decent but could have used a bit more seasoning and flavor. The marinara sauce also had a bitterness to it that wasn't my favorite. When our entrées arrived, both dishes looked and smelled wonderful. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't quite live up to the presentation. My wife's Chicken Marsala had good flavor overall, but the side pasta was very gummy, and the sauce again had a bitter note that seemed to overpower the dish. My Bolognese was the biggest disappointment of the evening. When I think of Bolognese or a rich meat ragù, I usually expect a wider pasta such as pappardelle. The cresta di gallo pasta wasn't my favorite choice for the dish, and it also had a gummy texture. The sauce itself suffered from the same bitterness that we noticed throughout the meal. Looking back, I probably should have ordered the Carbonara once I realized the Bolognese wasn't being served with the type of pasta I was hoping for. Overall, the meal was okay, but it didn't quite meet the expectations we had after seeing the restaurant featured on television and reading the reviews. The service was excellent, and the bartenders did a fantastic job taking care of us. While this visit was a bit disappointing, there were plenty of other dishes on the menu that looked great, and I would be willing to give Anthonino's another try and order something different.

Pizzeria Da Gloria is ABSOLUTELY the best pizza I've had in STL. We came for lunch and sat inside - it's a quaint little spot but there is a beautiful patio. We got a margherita pizza and a spring onion pesto pizza. The crust on this pizza was perfect - not soggy and had a great chew. That Spring Onion Pizza was so good so definitely try that before the season ends. For our sides, we got the mortadella skewers which was covered in a tangy, sweet sauce. I dipped a few of my slices in that sauce and it was great. We also got the caesar salad which was tossed really well and every bite was coated in dressing. We ended our meal with their basque cheesecake which I think may have been regular cheesecake? I was expecting the caramelized crust and a softer bite BUT it doesn't matter. That was such a yummy cheesecake and that apple cider caramel was a great touch. I love this place! Great food, great service, and love the intimate feel inside.

We managed to snag a couple seats at the bar and were given water and menus rather quickly. My boyfriend got the Mango Mezcal and I got the Spring Sangria. The mango mezcal had a nice balance of tequila and other sweet flavors while having the tajin rim for additional spice. The sangria was unlike one I've had before as it had coconut rum and other flavors. It was different but in a good way. Unsure of how much longer we'd be waiting, we got an order of Fughuese. I'm sure I butchered the spelling but it's their bread and olive service. The bread was piping hot and the olive oil was fresh and pure. Of course, once we started eating our table was ready /9 we quickly settled and left. It was nice to finally come here even if we only got drinks. It was a very busy Saturday night and we got a huge order. It took over an hour for it to be made and delivered, but they did warn us about that wait time, so nbd lol. It came at around the time they promised, which is what matters most! My husband was excited to St. Louis style pizza and there were lots of pizzas to try. They arrived hot and fresh. I was still pretty full from our earlier dinner, but I tried one slice of what I belief was the margherita pizza. The cheese was super gooey, the crust was nice and crispy, and the olive oil base gave it a nice and rich feel. Good pizza! Everyone else was happy with their slices too. I will say the toppings are generally covered by cheese and so if you don't know what was ordered you might wind up with a bite of something you don't like (as was the case for my heat-averse aunt who got a big mouthful of jalapeño on one of her slices). Easy enough problem to avoid though! Grateful for local place that could feed a bunch of hungry people! Give Leo's a try. My family in St. Louis definitely enjoys it, as did I!
