My opponent and I were warming up on the range, as we arrived early. With half our buckets left, the first ranger arrived to rush us to the tee because someone in front of us canceled. Then, after paying 75 DOLLARS for the round, we were paired with people far better than us (scratch golfers vs 100ish per 18 holes). When we hit the turn at 9, a ranger was there to tell us we were playing 10 minutes behind. Oh crap, better hurry up. So we did. And by hole 11, we were waiting on the group in front of us before we could hit. I voiced my concern to the clubhouse after this round and received zero accountability. In fact, they laughed as I left the clubhouse to go to my car. This pretentious course does not warrant your attention or money...significant money...to play there. YOU. CAN. DO. BETTER.

Jeff Escott, head professional at Persimmon is my guy, he's a rare breed since he's a teaching pro and a fantastic regional player. Because this Canadian can play, Jeff is able to take real experiences to help me with my power, my posture, and my peanut size head (typically the biggest problem in my game) I really do enjoy working with Jeff and my brother (member at Algonquin) still says to this day his best lesson ever came from Jeff.
