Great afternoon of bowling with the family. Good lanes and great staff! Also very well maintained!

Good bowling alley. It had an older feel to it which I loved for the nostalgia. They had classic Brunswick 2000 systems which they were nice enough to give a tour of. They had older rear projection score display screens which was a lovely 90s touch. The lanes showed signs of use. The bar allowed smoking which you don't see much anymore. I love the smell of smoke in a bowling alley - it brings me back.

I've only been twice now, but I am impressed with the "fantastic" hole in the wall" vibe, (you're…read morenot going to realize it's a bar/restaurant just driving by (give off the feel of a independent burger joint from outside). First night, Anna did a fantastic job of giving me her "specialty" drink (she knew exactly what i meant without having to describe it as "something that you're great as making that's not 'normally' on the menu). It took a little finagling the second night (Kimmie (f i remember names correctly), you gotta do better than "Margaritas" as your 'special" :) ), and i never caught the third bartendress name, but she was as friendly as Anna and Kimmie. Best feel was, I didn't feel like a stranger on either night I went in, conversations with the regulars just felt _normal_ and not as though I was _intruding and even got "challenged' to show up Karaoke night by one of the regulars (he had a good laugh when I described my singing skills as "can't carry at tune in a bucket with the lid RIVETED on". First night I went , they were doing Bingo.. (showed up after they started so didn't join in late) , next night, Trivia.. (even left work early to make sure I showed upon time). Everyone was having fun, the hosts running the shows were fantastic. Which means Friday nights with live music and Sat. Night karaoke this place I think should be rocking!) The food - absolutely fantastic and fast. a full meal on night one (Burger, and loaded tots), and plenty of side-dishes on night two... So many things I wanted to try, but had to keep it to a minimum for back-2-back nights. I can see concerns if they pack the house on any night (again, not a large venue, although in the middle of winter, no surprise the outdoor patio was wrapped up, which probably adds some more ), but for what they had the two nights I was there, this is a much see! (and no, you still dont' want me doing karaoke!)

Awesome! Thanks…read moreto fellow Yelpers I discovered this place late Sept '25. The vibe inside is cool - place is comfortable, smoking is NOT allowed inside, TouchTunes jukebox all make for a pleasant atmosphere. Service was great. Jamie and crew were very friendly and hospitable. Food - very good and extremely well priced. The salad was fresh and a nice portion. The wings - WOW!!! I consider myself a wing connoisseur and these were top notch! Cooked perfectly with a delicious buffalo sauce and bleu on the side. I shall relay to my friends and colleagues in the area as this will now be the "go-to" spot when we are in St Louis! Great job team!

I'm tempted to suggest that this is a pizza, wings and t-ravs place--which is all you need, really. If you include beer, which they have, that's all four food groups. (That might actually be true, come to think of it.) I've had the burgers here once or twice, here and at other locations, and I seem to recall them being fine--probably a cut above anything you'd get at a fast food restaurant, and for not much more, but not anything you'd travel for. If you lived in the adjacent hotel for some reason (trying to put together first-and-last on a place in a "good school district," perhaps), you'd be all set. I was there with my parents because they wanted to get the Sunday special fried chicken dinner. Deals like that are like catnip for the elderly. It's an okay deal for the price, and it's reminiscent of a time when a lot of these local sit-down places used to do fried chicken on Sundays. We used to get it sometimes at the Culpeppers near 270 and Olive. It was both much cheaper than this deal and all you could eat. Of course you had to walk there to get it, uphill both ways. (It really was all you can eat.) I didn't order the fried chicken, but I did get a chance to try it. It was good! It was maybe a little bit dry, but it was fried *hard*, like the chicken wings from the hood spot on the Fugees' The Score, to continue with the '90s theme, and it was seasoned well. Weirdly, you have to pick one (just one) side from the list of sides that come with the sandwiches, and there's a dearth of traditional fried chicken sides, like green beans and mashed potatoes. My parents had mac and cheese (which cost extra) and steamed vegetables, neither of which looked like they were that good. But the fried chicken honestly wasn't half bad. I already kinda knew what to expect with the pizza. It's St. Louis style and roughly on a par with Imo's, for what it's worth. The cheese might be better, but the other toppings probably vary depending on what you get. I got the pepperoni, which was fine. Maybe a little bit thin, like the pepperoni they had to use on pizzas during the Great Depression. They load you up on cheese, and like I said, it's a somewhat higher quality cheese. It's not weirdly liquid when it's hot, and it has a satisfyingly substantive chew to it once it's had a chance to cool down a bit. They could have left it in the oven a bit longer, but it wasn't undercooked, just not quite as crisp as I require. I know you have to tell them to do that at Domino's, or else they pull it out of the oven early, to save money that they pass on to you, the consumer, in the form of app deals that seem almost too good to be true. The pizza, if I read the menu correctly, only comes in two sizes, one which seemed like it might be too small and one that was definitely too big for one person. The 12" might honestly be fine for most people who don't have some sort of disorder, which, honestly, might be much of this place's customer base. I ate a whole 16" anyway (no Diddy), along with that chicken. What can I say? It was good, and I'm as pathetic as anyone else who eats here, if not more so.

Chicken N Pickle is such a fun place for all ages! We recently hosted my daughter's birthday party…read morehere, and it couldn't have been easier or more affordable. We rented an indoor court for an hour and a half, and the kids had an absolute blast rotating in and out while playing pickleball. We came early on a hot summer day, and it was the perfect way to keep everyone active while staying cool. I definitely recommend reserving an indoor court, especially for younger kids--they're constantly chasing the ball, so having the enclosed, air-conditioned space made a huge difference. The staff made everything easy, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and it was a great birthday experience. We'll definitely be back for more family outings!

First timers here and we won't come back! Arrived and fought…read morefor parking as it is real limited. We reserved a court for two hours for our Teenage twins and some adult friends to celebrate the Twins Birthday. The facility is Large, well outfitted , fairly clean but sports a curious lack of shade or awnings or umbrellas outside. We found Check in and it was fine and they dropped us off on our court . We were supposed to get the shaded table in front of our court but no one told us it was ours and a rather aggressive family was occupying our shady set up. Service is nonexistent, they are nice but thin in ranks and disorganized and overwhelmed. We finally figured it out and got someone to move the aggressive family. They had words for us. I explained we were first timers and didn't know and even offered to share the shade best we could, but they were mad. Not our fault to be put in this difficult situation. After 20 minutes someone came by for our order we put in for appetizers , drinks and food. We were told we would need to order part of it from other staff because they only served drinks, and appetizers. Let me wrap this up by saying the drinks finally came after 30 minutes and we were never offered more until an hour later. We grabbed a waitress as asked about our food. She said," oh we are two hours behind." What? The food finally came at the 1 hour 45 minute mark with the (cold) appetizers following in a few minutes later. Parched we ran and got our own water but the jug went empty and they were also out of cups. Time was running out now. We ate our cold appetizers and tried to find someone to close the bill out. Guess what ? We waited and They never came! We turned our equipment in and now turn our backs on this big fancy corporate mess! I'm not going to add our pictures as I don't want any innocent family with kids to try this place. It needs a whole management redo, If we want to play pickle ball we will seek something else.
