Freddy is awesome and will look in the back for whatever you may need that is not readily accessible in the floor.

Always the best roast beef I have ever found! Fantastic customer service. Masters of their craft…read moredoing what they love.

A lot of y'all don't understand New England Roast Beef sandwiches and it shows…read more The good: * OMGosh the sandwiches are unbelievable. The owner makes the meat all from scratch. All you naysayers saying "fillers... premade...", just look to your right when you order - you'll see a fridge full of WHOLE roasts, wrapped and ready to be made. * Owner is regularly working the shop and you can tell he loves what he does. Super friendly and patient to walk you through the menu. * That French dip is a MUST try. Crispy sesame bun outside, cheesy and meaty inside. I'll be dreaming about it. * Biggest surprise - those fries! Best curly fries in SD hands down. It is what it is: * Yes, it's pricey. $20ish a sandwich. But weighing it all out, you get what you pay for. You're going to pay $4 less for a little sub down the street with an EIGHTH of the meat (and that stuff down the street isn't home made). * No inside seating. 4ish tables out front available to sit and eat at. * This is best fresh, for sure. Don't expect a good reheat experience. The bad: * Parking sucks. It PB so it's all paid parking. * Restrooms are not close. Verdict: * Phenomenal premium sandwiches that are worth every penny if you understand New England Roast Beef. He's doing it better than most on the east coast.

Tonight I came home and had no food so I thought, let's give it a try, when I looked up their menu I discovered that they do more than just sandwiches! Wraps, salads, paninis and even breakfast! Because I'm not a big sandwich person, I opted for a wrap. The Southwest Chicken wrap. You get the option of what kind of wrap so I chose the sun-dried tomato. Because I knew I wouldn't eat it all in one sitting I asked for the ranch dressing on the side when I called it it. The lady who answered said, no problem, we'll have that ready in 6 minutes! Amazing! I was starving so this was great news. When I walked in she had it ready for me and then all I had to do was pay at the register. Now for the taste, wow. At first I thought this was going to be a cold wrap with like cubed chicken. I was pleasantly surprised when I felt a warm bag. When I open the wrap it had little grill marks on it, they press it in the panini and warm it up! It made it 10x better and the chicken was warm too and sliced. Avocado, lettuce, cheese etc. yum! I can't wait to eat the other half tomorrow. Oh, and they give you a nice size pickle spear to go with it. I will definitely be back!

I want to love this place but this review is a reminder for me to not order their tuna again…read more I don't know who orders a tuna and instead wants a medley of diced celery, onion and carrot with mayo but it's not me. There were very few tuna pieces in it. If they took a can of actual tuna and added it to this medley it would be considered a tuna sandwich, but right now it's a chopped veg sandwich with a warning "may contain traces of tuna" My husband, however really enjoyed his Italian sub.

They have inside and outside seating. Water dispenser with cups by the register. Check out their specials by the register and on their instagram. Dog friendly. Their large drinks come with 3 shots of espresso (vs 2 in the small) so we went with large. They have alternative milks for an extra 75 cents. Tried: Hawaiian latte $7.25 - good flavor Butterscotch latte $7.25 - friend liked but not my thing. Breakfast sandwich $13.25 - good. A little too much aioli. Came out very hot and fresh. Recommend this one. Baja Burrito $15.75 - added bacon ($2.75 extra). This was a very healthy tasting and massive burrito. Wasn't really a fan of the overall flavor. Salsa was good. Club $17 - most expensive item. A little too much aioli on this but overall was good and it came with a cute little fruit cup. I love that they open very early in the morning and just one block from the beach! I'll be back to try their other food and drinks.
