Magic Evan performed at our son's 5th birthday party and was a HUGE hit. He kept a group of 20 kindergarteners mesmerized and entertained for the entire show, doing magic tricks and being generally funny and silly, and provided balloon animals when the show was over. When our trip to be with family for my son's 8th birthday got cancelled due to the spike in COVID-19, I started searching for an alternative party. I hired Magic Evan for my daughter's first birthday on St. Patrick's Day. He was amazing! His communication is so organized. We spoke on the phone and then he confirmed with me several times via email before the party. He showed up on the day of a few minutes early and got himself set up. He had a smile on his face the entire time he was there. It was a joy just to have him around. The party was 65 adults and 15 kids of various ages from 1-15. He performed first for the adults in the room, doing some strolling magic. He walked around to each table and engaged the adults in cars tricks. Then he did a formal show for the kids. My daughter is obviously too young to get it but her 2.5 year old brother was rolling on the floor laughing with his cousins the entire show. The kids loved him! The adults at the party were also watching in amazement - amazed at the tricks themselves but also how much the kids enjoyed the show. At the end Magic Evan gave each kid a magic wand and a balloon animal. You could tell he put his all into entertaining the kids and he was still smiling and laughing as he walked out the door. Covid has put a real damper on most of 2020. We wanted a virtual birthday party that would be fun for everyone. Magic Evan did his 30 minute show which was good for a mixed age group: 7 years old and their siblings. Nothing beats an in person experience but he made adjustments to fit a Zoom performance. Just hired Magic Evan for my daughter's 5th birthday party. That's twelve kids and their adults. WIN. He was terrific! We told Evan our theme and though he'd never done that theme before, he came with special props and jokes that showed he'd clearly done his homework. He handled overexcited kids with ease (including the part where my daughter basically toppled over one of his tricks in her enthusiasm to figure out how it was done.) and kept everybody's attention. Evan showed up on time and had no problem being immediately whisked into action early. The kids laughed and screamed with delight and the parents were smiling and chuckling too. Magic Evan made my daughters 8th birthday so incredibly wonderful! He was funny, energetic, and engaging. We live in California and he was able to facilitate a Zoom magic show all the way from the opposite coast! He was completely unflappable and kept 18 kids (mostly 4 and 5-year olds plus three ten-year-olds) entertained and laughing the whole time he was here. He built a good rapport with my son and I really like that he was able to involve a lot of our guests onto the "stage". There's nothing to do or set up. He showed up exactly when he said he would.
