Evan was great! Would not hesitate to work with him again. Every last kiddo at the party loved his show.

This review is for Magic Evan's virtual online show, which he performed for my 11-year-old son's birthday via Zoom. Evan was fantastic, start to finish. He offers great communication, he's very responsive and professional, and scheduling was a breeze. His show translates well online, and he performed several card and magic tricks that my son says "blew his mind." I won't spoil the show but I would highly recommend Evan if you're looking for a way to liven up your next virtual gathering or celebration. My son says he'll always remember this birthday! read more

We loved Magic Evan for my son's 5th birthday virtually and we were impressed with the way he was able to engage several 4-5 year olds! So much so that many of my parent friends had to mute their zoom because their children were squealing with glee! I also appreciated his communication through the whole process from booking to post show. I would definitely recommend him for a virtual party! read more

Magic Evan was amazing for my son's 4th birthday party. We had seen him perform at at older kid's party before and he perfectly tailored his show for the younger crowd. They were all so engaged throughout the show. We cannot say enough good things about Magic Evan! read more

Excellent! My son turned 5 and we needed a virtual party. Magic Evan was professional and very fun for the kiddos! Worth every penny!

I cannot recommend Magic Evan strongly enough! We have now hired him twice, once for our son's 5th birthday party and, most recently, for our daughter's 9th birthday party. Both times he was super easy to work with, very responsive and arrived right on time. His show is the perfect mix of humor, magical illusions and kid-appropriate silliness. The shows he performed contained completely different sets of tricks and he went out of his way to make them age-appropriate. He was very quick to send us the Certificate of Insurance that our building requires for all vendors as well. This was the absolutely perfect choice for child-friendly entertainment both times. Look no further than Magic Evan for the next party you need to throw! read more

This magician is the real deal! Not every magician that does kids' parties leaves all of the adults in the room just as amazed as the kids! Every kindergartener at my son's March 18th party was transfixed and their parents were left slack-jawed wondering how he did it all. Magic Evan is poised, engaging and super fun to watch. He was unflappable when a bunch of kids (who take an after school magic class) started guessing what would happen next. He always found a way to entertain and confound the little wizards-in-training. As a parent, I appreciate that Evan is organized, communicates well, and stays in touch as the party date approaches. He's on time and delivers all the fun he promises. Book him if you can! read more

Magic Evan performed at my daughter's birthday. He was right on time and started with a trick that blew everyone's mind. His magic impressed the kids and adults alike and his childlike humor kept the kids smiling. The magic gift bags for the kids were a huge hit and the kids were immediately attempting to dazzle us with their own magic. 10/10. read more

We had Magic Evan perform for my son's virtual 7th birthday and he was amazing! He did a great job keeping everyone engaged the whole time and the kids loved learning some magic after the show. The kids loved how silly he was; you can tell he loves his work! Multiple parents reached out to me after to say how much their children enjoyed it. Evan was also great to work with behind the scenes and communicated quickly and efficiently right from our very first interaction. I highly recommend Evan and hope we can work with him again in the future read more

With the pandemic, we were looking for a safe and fun option for our daughter's birthday. Magic Evan was the perfect solution for a virtual party! He kept the kids very entertained and several parents have commented how focused their child was for the entire time. Evan also was very accommodating and came up with a special magic trick that celebrated our daughter's Golden Birthday. Needless to say, she was thrilled! read more

Like everyone else during the pandemic we turned to a zoom birthday party for our kid who just turned 9 years old. After an hour of playing zoom games our finale for the party was Magic Evan and everyone loved his show! Magic Evan is as good as you can get for a children's party and then some. He made the kids laugh and got them involved in his magic tricks! His finale trick involved our kid and she was blown away and so excited. He is very prompt in responding to inquiries and was very easy to work with. His prices are very reasonable. In addition some of his packages included a magic kit which my kid absolutely loved. If you need a magician for your kid's zoom party try Magic Evan! You will not regret it. Thank you Magic Evan! read more

Magic Evan was great fun at my son's birthday party. The communication leading up to the event was perfect, he was punctually early on arrival. He set up right in our living room and got the show moving quickly. He tirelessly entertained a boisterous group of about 20 4-year-olds with aplomb. I recommend him wholeheartedly. read more

We originally hired Magic Evan for my 5 year old daughters birthday to be held in March. Due to COVID-19, we had to postpone. We ended up doing a social distance party in July instead. Magic Evan was incredible. He was in constant communication, and made sure that our daughter had the best birthday party! Very funny, witty, and entertaining (for kids and adults). My kids were literally laughing the entire time. Evan catered the magic and humor perfectly for his audience. Not a thing I would change. The little details mean a lot! I highly recommend hiring Magic Evan, and will certainly be reaching out for future magic needs. Thanks again, Magic Evan! read more

Magic Evan did a truly amazing job this past weekend for my son's virtual 8th birthday party. The show was clever, engaging, funny and most of all very special for all. The length of the magic show was perfect for eight year olds. Evan has the kids rolling on the floor with laughter. He did a great job navigating zoom to make the show interactive. Also to note, Evan is a fabulous communicator-from my first inquiry to follow up emails, he was on top of it. I hope we can have Magic Evan at future parties in-person but for the moment he has mastered the virtual birthday party. You won't be disappointed and you're child will love it. read more

My daughter had a virtual birthday party and Evan was so wonderful! He was super funny, patient and sent so much blessing to the birthday star. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the show so much! read more

Magic Evan put on a great show for our 7 year old's birthday party. From the time of booking, Evan was very easy to deal with, responsive by email/phone, punctual and professional. More importantly, the kids (and grownups) at the party loved him. The kids were thoroughly entertained for the whole 30 minute performance. Highly recommend. read more

Evan's 5-star Yelp rating is 100% deserved--what a fantastic party and show! We hired Magic Evan for our 7 year old's birthday and had a truly wonderful experience. Evan was professional and impressively communicative all the way up to the party. He showed up right on time (nothing to sniff at as we hosted in a local park and the location wasn't obvious) and put on a show that had the kids standing and dancing, and the parents laughing and gasping with surprise. He did a great job tailoring the show to his audience, and making our son feel special on his birthday. We chose the middle party package which included the lesson and the goody bags. I'm so glad we did as the kids loved the lesson and adored the magic tricks in the goody bags. Parents told me their kids did the tricks for days afterward! Thank you, Evan! read more

Magic Evan did a fabulous show for my 5 year old daughter, her friends and family for her virtual birthday party! His humor and tricks were spot on! Magic Evan engaged with the audience and even added a special touches from the Harry Potter stories after I told him that my daughter loved the books. I highly recommend Magic Evan if you are looking for something special to do for your child's birthday in these times of social distancing. We live in Hawaii so it was a fabulous option since no one out here is doing anything like this! Mahalo Magic Evan for the great show! read more

As a surprise for our daughter's 7th birthday, my husband and I requested the presence of Magic Evan for a Zoom call. We got the Magic Wizard School package, with goodie bags and magic class, which is definitely highly recommended! Magic Evan really lived up to his name! Evan provided us with a Zoom meeting link and all I had to do was sent out an Evite to the parents. After I got the final count, I provided the guest names and addresses. Evan mailed all the goodie bags in advance, with buffer time for postal slowness. He also sent an advanced magic set for the birthday girl! In addition, Evan emailed tips and resources as the days passed to help plan for any virtual party time. He is truly a whole party package advisor! On the day of the show, we set up two laptops, one for my daughter to view the show and one for us to monitor the kids on the call. Magic Evan was amazing! He fully engaged the kids by calling out their names, got them to act along, and made them laugh and gasp in amazement. Heck, us adults were stumped and amazed by some of the tricks! I felt like a kid again! Most importantly, as we watched the kids laugh and interact with Evan on the screen, it felt like everyone was together again. It felt so good seeing the kids so excited, given the times we are currently facing with social distancing. The parents were also letting me know afterwards that their kids kept showing off the cool new magic tricks they learned that night with the goodie bag. My daughter enjoyed the show so much, she asked if we can have Evan at her 8th birthday party next year. LOL! Hopefully times will be normal again, but regardless, I would totally have Evan back virtually or in-person! Thank you, Magic Evan! read more

My granddaughter Ada was celebrating her fifth birthday party, and lots of friends, their younger siblings, and parents were invited. We weren't worried about the size of the crowd, because there is a lovely shared outdoor space in the back of the co-op. Well, the day of the party (yesterday) it rained very heavily. I saw disaster looming as 5 year olds, younger sisters and brothers, and babes in their parents' arms trooped into the co-op. The kids had snacks, drinks, ran around the place, yelled and screamed, and jumped on Ada's bed. Then Evan showed up. With a few quiet words, he had all the kids sitting on a rug, absolutely transfixed. Every kid, from 5 years old to pre-verbal, was mesmerized, The tricks were age-appropriate, which really surprised me, since there were so many different ages. No one said, "I know how you did that," or "I've seen that one before." The only time the kids moved was when Evan asked for volunteers. Ada has had four birthdays. (I'm not counting the first because it was so low-key.) This was by far the best, and will remain so, at least until my daughter arranges for a bigger place where we can have an elephant visit. But not everybody likes elephants. And everyone loves Evan. read more

Magic Evan did a fantastic virtual Magic Show for my 7 year old's birthday. The kids ranged in age from as young as 3 to 7. We got compliments from across the board that Evan was funny, entertaining, and really surprised the kids with some fun magic. I think the parents had fun too! Would definitely recommend. read more

Magic Evan was amazing in setting up and delivering a wonderful virtual magic show (in California) to 20 kids!!! Given Covid it's so hard to get everyone together and do fun virtual birthday parties. The birthday was a HIT for my 8 year old and from the parents and kids - best birthday party ever!!! Thank you Evan for making this so much fun. Perfect combination of magic show demo and teaching kids how to do magic tricks!! We love it and will be back for more read more

We booked Magic Evan's show for my 6 year old son's virtual birthday party. He was fantastic! First off, he is incredibly organized and sends multiple emails leading up to the date. You can also schedule a call with him beforehand to chat if you have questions. He kept our group of about 40 (half kids, half adults) entertained and laughing for 30 minutes. He also leaves about 15 minutes before the show and 15 minutes after the show free on Zoom so you can also plan a game, sing happy birthday, etc. I still don't understand how he did most of his tricks!! My favorite was the half zebra/half giraffe one. Thank, Magic Evan! read more

I booked Magic Evan to perform virtually for an end of program celebration for our summer school. The students were mesmerized and fully entertained and engaged throughout the program (which is really something, considering that it was over Zoom). The next day, during our assembly, the kids were still talking about the performance and how incredible it was. They were talking over each other to eagerly share their favorite parts and ask "HOW DID HE DO THAT?! Truly a magical experience for our students! I highly recommend Magic Evan for anyone looking to insert a little fun and magic into a group gathering. read more

Magic Evan recently performed at my daughter's 4th birthday and was fabulous. Children ranged in age from 2.5 to 7 and every child loved it. I was unsure if they would have the attention span to watch him for 45 minutes but every child was enraptured by his performance. They were cracking up and so excited by each of his tricks. Even the adults enjoyed the performance and paid attention throughout the entire thing. My daughter already asked if he could come to her 5th birthday too :) In terms of planning, he was easy to work with and responded quickly to all of my (many) emails. I highly recommend him for your party entertainment!! read more

I thought he was hilarious as did many of the adults...and the kids were belly laughing the whole time and they had a blast. His magic was geared toward the young children he was entertaining and he included them in the show. We were at our company picnic in a park...so most of the kids sat on blankets in front of him (as did some of the moms!) He made it fun and not at all frightening or overwhelming for the shy children also. My only critique (if you can call it that) would be that he needs to expand his choices in the balloon making. He said he did balloon art and he did, but it was only a choice of about three very simple things, and he made the mistake of asking the kids what they wanted. OOPS! I would definitely have him again...balloons or no balloons. Very funny...lots of fun! read more

Magic Evan performed for my daughter's 6th birthday. He was a big hit. He kept the kids engaged despite the 100 degree weather, and was highly entertaining for the kid and adult audiences. In the planning stages he was enormously helpful and communicative, was right on time the actual day, and kept everyone oohing, aahing and laughing throughout. I couldn't recommend him higher. read more

My nine-year old had an amazing Magic Evan birthday blast. Magic Evan made her birthday truly special with lots of personal touches and engaging all of the guests with the magic of his Zoom appearance. Not only were there plenty laughs, but the eyes of the participants were glued to the screen. Magic Evan is easy to work with (The planning process was a breeze) and he is truly a fantastic performer engaging audiences of all ages (child-adults). A highlight for the guests was the VIP magic class at the end, where they were able to learn how to perform a few tricks of their own using common household items. In Covid times, this is a way to make your child feel special and empowered and still have a birthday party to remember. Highly recommended. read more
