After looking online for a magician for what seemed to be forever, I ended up finding Magic Evan. I was a little skeptical because this was the first time I was in charge of hiring entertainment for my son's party and I did not know who to trust. Everywhere I searched seemed good but then the reviews were not so good. Magic Evan had great reviews so I took a chance and I am glad I decided to go with Magic Evan for my son's 5th Birthday party. He is very professional and punctual. He made sure to keep in contact from the very beginning and arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time as he said he would. We had the party in a park and the children ranged from 3-15 years old and he was able to capture all of their attention including adults. He was funny and personalized the show with the Power Ranger theme and always made sure to include my son's name which made my son feel special. My son was so excited and said "Mommy the Magician knows me because he said my name." The kids loved him and so did the adults. Everyone kept asking me where did I find him. We hired Magic Evan yesterday for my daughter's 4th birthday. We had a "magical" unicorn theme and with little to go on but reviews, we were thoroughly impressed with his performance!! There were about 15 kids and 20 adults. He kept the kids on their toes and hysterically laughing. The 35 minute package was the perfect amount of time for that age group. During that time he kept the kids (and adults) engaged and upbeat. There was a lot of audience participation which the kids loved. From the beginning, Evan was extremely professional and attentive to emails. I had mentioned to him that my daughter and some of her friends were sensitive to loud noises and some may be even a little afraid. He was very understanding and was respectful to the volume and energy of his performance which I very much appreciated. At the after party, everyone was commenting how developmentally appropriate his magic tricks were and how well he interacted with his audience. I can't thank Evan enough for his wonderful show at my 5 year old sons birthday party . To start Evan squeezed us in as we called at the very last minute just days before a Saturday afternoon party and then he managed to not just keep the attention of about 15 5 year olds but he managed to keep them all laughing for the whole entire show . He also did a wonderful job making my son feel special from all the other kids . I would happily use his services again and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a kids magician weather it be a group of two or two hundred . The last part of this that I must give him credit on is that I knew that he squeezed us in and that he had another show to get to after ours but I never once felt like he was rushing or in a hurry and even after the show ended he still hung around a little bit to play with the kids and talk with them . Evan was absolutely tremendous. I had previously seen Magic Evan at another event and when my son requested a magic birthday party he was the first person that I thought of. From the very beginning Evan was responsive and helpful, immediately getting back to me with any questions and sending out a checklist email of what he will provide. Evan arrived at the party early enough to be completely set up and ready to go when the children arrived. He was extremely great with the kids and they all left buzzing about the show. We just had Magic Evan at my son's 5th birthday. He was delightful, entertaining, and completely age appropriate. The children were roaring with laughter from start to finish. His magic tricks are excellent, but his gentle tone, keen sense of humor, and ability to read the crowd are what sets him apart. He had the kids eating out of his palm for 50 minutes, which combined a performance a very special magic lesson at the end. My daughter and her friends had a wonderful time! Magic Evan performed for her 5th birthday; he was very responsive throughout the process of booking, etc., and came early as well to the party at the Hippo Parkhouse in spite of pouring rain that day. The performance was about 50 minutes, and the children had a blast -- they could not stop laughing throughout, and were thrilled to volunteer as well! They all waited in line to get a twisty balloon animal at the end too. Many parents told me afterwards that their children couldn't stop talking about the magic show and that this was the "funniest birthday ever." I booked Magic Evan based on reviews on Google. I took a chance and booked in 3 months in advance of my 3 year old party. Evan was great from the beginning. He was easy to booked and scheduled a call to answer any questions I had. As the event got closer I was afraid he would have forgotten about me but I got emails to confirm my booking. On the day of, he arrived at the time he said he was going to and everyone was happy with his show, children and adults alike. Payment was very easy. Magic Evan is awesome! I hired him for a kid's birthday magic show. Magic Evan was very accommodating. I told him the party was at a coffee shop but ended up having the magic show in the backyard of the coffee shop. I felt bad switching the space but he was very accommodating and made the space work. This is our first time having Magic Evan to our children's birthday party(8's and 5's) and I have only good thing to write about it. Evan is very professional and on top of everything from the start. Magic Evan came to our daughter's 6th birthday party last weekend and he did an amazing job. He managed to keep a room full of kids (and parents) totally entertained and was so easy to work with.
