We just had Magic Evan for a magical virtual 8th birthday party for my son! He and his friends had so much fun!! They were amazed and got to learn some tricks of their own with pre-shipped goodie bags. I would highly recommend this virtual party option to anyone who has kids!! read more

Magic Evan performed two zoom magic shows for our elementary school fundraiser. He was excellent. The kids (pre-k through 5th grade) and parents loved the show. Magic Evan knew how to seamlessly put on a magic show, control zoom, and keep the kids engaged. He was funny and his magic tricks were entertaining. We asked him to do two zoom shows, one for younger kids and one for older kids and both shows were well tailored to his audience.. I was extremely impressed and I would recommend Magic Evan for anyone's birthday, fundraiser, school event, etc. read more

Although I didn't get to use eva's services due to a scheduling inflict. He was professional, kind and tried very hard to accommodate my party. First class! read more

Magic Evan entertained my son and his friends in celebration of my son's 5th birthday. He was amazing. My son is a shy kid, but ALL of the kids (and the adults, too) were mesmerized. My son even felt brave enough to stand in front and assist Magic Evan. He's already asking for Magic Evan to return. read more

I love this magic show. I have booked Evan a number of times and every single time he does a wonderful job!

Magic Evan was the sweetest, funniest and silliest - he had us all laughing and attentive to the show. The show was interactive and all of the children were participating and engaged with his tricks. His strength is definitely in gaining the children's confidence as plenty of them wanted to participate. Evan arrived early to set up as planned and stayed long after making funny shapes with balloons for the children. We had a range of 3 - 7 in ages and all enjoyed thoroughly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOVELY DUDE! read more

My son saw Magic Evan perform at a friend's party last year and asked if we could have Magic Evan come to his 6th birthday. Evan was so easy to communicate and coordinate with-- fast, super organized, professional and friendly. And the show was seriously WONDERFUL. We had a group of 15 or so kids and parents in our Brooklyn (i.e. small:) living room and Evan performed and made balloon animals for 45 minutes-- it was a perfect amount of time for the kids' attention and Even kept us all rapt and laughing the whole time. Everyone loved it. I'm so happy we chose Evan and Evan was able to come-- he's really an amazing performer. Thanks Magic Evan! read more

I bought a couple of magic lessons from Evan for my 11 year old daughter as a Christmas present. She loved them. She's pretty shy around strangers but Evan was quick to build a rapport with her, very patient and encouraging and an excellent teacher. After a couple of hours she had mastered several tricks and is busy planning to get more lessons. Evan is professional, punctual and (obviously) great with kids. No hesitation in recommending him very highly. read more

Evan was great. Arrived on time, was professional and the kids (5 year old birthday party) had a blast. Highly recommend.

Wow! Still thinking about my son's 5th birthday party back in November. We had seen Magic Evan perform at another birthday party a couple years prior and were very excited to have his at our party. He was awesome! Evan captivated the attention of the kids (age 3-7) and all the adults! I've seen other magicians perform at kid parties and Evan is by far the most clean cut and able to gage his audience (made the kids laugh so much). He even had a little surprise for the birthday boy - AND his little brother (extra brownie points). I highly recommend Evan and encourage you to get the added on extra of balloon animals, made the take away favor feel even bigger with this. read more

Magic Evan performed at my son's first birthday circus party for a group of kids ranging from one year old to 12 (plus adults). Everyone was entertained. He is so friendly, funny and nice -- I highly recommend him! read more

I was able to booked Evan for my son's first birthday party last weekend, and, boy, the kids had a blast! Evan kept them engaged and entertained from the beginning to end. They also enjoyed their balloons! Evan was very accommodating, accessible, and replied diligently to all correspondence prior to the party. All transaction went flawlessly. He is an overall nice guy who cares a lot about giving your kid the best magic show. He was also very organized and does not rely on a personal assistant to make all the arrangements for him. It was nice that I was able to get hold of and deal with him directly. He showed up on time, dressed up nicely in his magic outfit and looked very clean-cut. Also, he was very patient. The show didn't start on time because the kids weren't ready, but he was very patient and was all smile. Thanks, Evan! Will book him again for future parties! read more

Evan has made our party even more fun and excited. Kids loved his show, especially the balloon part. Evan is very professional, punctual and really knows what he is doing. I highly recommend!!! Thanks, Evan!!! read more

Magic Evan performed for my daughter's 6th birthday and was a hit! He was professional and timely with his email and phone responses, and he was great with the big crowd we had (40 kids). Thanks Magic Evan! read more

I hired Evan for my daughters birthday party and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The show was easy to book. Evan was not only quick at responding to my questions but, also very proactive in helping arrange the best possible party, such as recommending arrival times and suggesting magician themed favors. On the day of the party, Evan arrived early and was very professional. He has a unique skill where he can make a group of children (in this case aged 2-7) giggle nonstop, whilst also keeping them extremely calm. Added to this all of the adults enjoyed his performance equally as much. I can't recommend Evan more!!! read more

Evan is such a gem! He performed for my kids' birthday party yesterday. It was a huge, unruly, mixed-age group of homeschooled kids. He managed the crowd so gently, but kept everyone spellbound. He is so kind and warm, everyone was giggling and really engaged. He somehow also managed to call on the kids in the crowd who really needed it the most, almost like he knew that they needed the affirmation and spotlight for a moment. And he made my boys feel like stars. The balloon animal thing afterwards is highly recommended, as it gave everyone something additional to walk away with. I wish we had a million more events to bring him to. read more

Evan is simply the best. We hired him for a day camp - kids 3-5. He totally gets kids and managed to keep them all enthralled, laughing, and delighted. He is rare in his willingness to really listen to what a group of kids is ready for - and what to skip. We will have him back this year, of course. A real pro and not a cynical bone in his body. read more

Magic Evan performed for my daughter's 4th Birthday party and he was amazing! First of all, he is extremely professional and got back to me very quickly with any question I had. He was punctual and ready to perform early. He kept a group of around twenty children from ages 18 months to ten completely engaged in his show for 50 minutes. The kids sat still for the entire show and would've sat for longer. The laughter and joy on the kids faces were priceless! The adults enjoyed the show as much as the children! He is a fabulous magician, but also has a gentle, kind, and funny manner about him. His balloon animals were a wonderful finishing touch! We LOVE Magic Evan. He is wonderful! read more

Magic Evan is absolutely fantastic! He kept a group of 4 year old boys actively engaged and laughing for a bday party. Adults were laughing too. Super impressed and our event was a success. Highly recommend! read more

Magic Evan was the best! I booked Magic Evan for my son's 6th birthday. There were around 23 kids and Magic Evan made sure the show was age appropriate and got so many kids involved in his tricks - which made it really fun and interactive. They all had the best time and so did all of the parents who stayed to watch. I highly recommend him. He's also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet!! read more

Magic Evan! His show was amazing... he truly captured attention of our little guests (kindergarteners) and their adults. He is so organized and thorough, which was a tremendous help for my planning. The kids really enjoyed the goodie bags. Yay! read more

Evan performed for my 5 & 3 year old sons' birthday party. He's super organized and kept us informed with tips and updates til the day of the party. An unexpected thunderstorm added an additional 15 kids to the audience and Evan just rolled with it. He was awesome and kept 30+ kids aged 3-10 years old entertained. My sons couldn't stop laughing. Would highly recommend! read more

We saw Magic Evan at a 5 yo birthday a couple of weeks ago and thought he did a great job keeping the little ones (who, frankly, were too young to genuinely appreciate magic) entertained. But then we we saw Mario the Magician at another birthday party (again, for 5yos) and, frankly, he was much, much better: funnier, more stage presence, and - unlike Evan - he genuinely seemed to love what he was doing. (Sorry, Evan!) read more

We hired Magic Evan for my kids' birthday party. He was incredible! He was punctual, courteous, and super friendly. The kids had such a great time, and the adults were entertained as well. Evan was a complete professional throughout the planning process. I had some questions along the way, and he always responded to my emails promptly. During his magic show, the kids were enthralled. Then he made the cutest balloon animals and hats. I even saw a father/son pair walking home from our party with a balloon hat for two! Thanks, Evan!! We hope to work with you again for our next event. read more

Magic Evan performed at my son's 4th birthday party and he was so fantastic! All of the kids were totally engaged and he was so good at getting my shy little to be a part of the show. Evan is a true professional. He just shows up and takes over. No need to hand hold or do anything really. And he's wonderful with the children, especially the younger ones. I thought he did a very nice job of dealing with the older kids who were intent on ruining every trick. My kids have been practicing their new magic tricks on me daily. Thanks Evan. read more

We'd been to a party where magic Evan performed and we decided to hire him for our son's summer birthday celebration at school. He came over to the kindergarten class and was great at keeping 25 active kids engaged and entertained! Super fun. read more

We hired Magic Evan for our son's 6th birthday party. He was just perfect! He was incredibly patient, talented, and funny too. The kids loved it. He did a full magic show, then gave a magic lesson (and taught the kids about the magic tricks they would find in the amazing goodie bags he had prepared for them), and then made balloon animals for everyone. My son was thrilled with it all and told me later that when he grows up he wants to be a magician. Evan was so kind and so easy to work with, and it was clear that he loves what he does. A very good guy and talented magician! read more

Evan was awesome! He performed for my son's 7th birthday party and it was fantastic. Not only did the kids absolutely love the show, but the booking process was very clear and extremely professional. We had contacted Evan last year as well, and he went the extra mile to accommodate a last minute scheduling issue that cropped up on our side. Can't recommend him highly enough! read more

I'm a Dad of a newly minted 6 year old son and my wife an I booked Magic Even for his B-day party in Greenpoint. Personally, I was amazed by all that I saw! These 6-year olds were a tough crowd, including one heckler who insisted that he knew how each trick was done, but Magic Evan is a master of his crafts, both magic (beautifully personalized classics, and some ya never seen) and crowd control. He had them in stitches with tricks that seemed both familiar but somehow new. He made my son feel special without overplaying it, he included his 4-year old sister and many of his friends into the act. It was fantastic!! And so appropriate for the kids. The kids loved it, and I know I was amused and amazed, and I think the rest of the adults in the room were rather impressed. His rate was very reasonable considering how many people he entertained and he arrived early as he promised he would, in a snow storm!! Thank you so much Magic Evan!!!!! read more

UNPROFESSIONAL and UNRELIABLE!!! I e-mailed Magic Evan to perform for my son's 5th birthday. He confirmed he was available and sent me prices and package options. 2 days later I emailed him back with my package choice. Just today (3 days before the party) I emailed him again asking if he would like a deposit, having not heard back from him. He sent me an e-mail saying he is no longer available -- and apparently, if I hadn't asked, he would have just not shown up!!! I now have 3 days to line up someone else. Hoping I can find someone else so my son's party isn't a total disaster. I have planned lots of parties and events for both personal and professional functions. I have NEVER had an entertainer book over something they said they were available for without first checking in or providing a back-up at the same price. Where I have had someone back out of an event, they have literally lined someone else up and agreed it would be at the same price, so they were calling me with a solution. He had the nerve to send me the links for others that might be available, so now I can spend my afternoon trying to figure out if his recommendations are as flaky as he is or if I should just try to find someone else myself.
