I hit my horn to let him know I was there and not have him hit me, his response was to give me the finger. He pulled away and I thought that was the end of it. I wound up behind him on another road at a red light. As we went up the road I passed him, he in turn passed me while simulating oral sex with his hands and mouth, gave me the finger again and sped away. How do I know it was him? What kind of a "clown" has a license plate that advertises his name, is dressed like a clown, drives aggressively and simulates sex acts when exhibiting road rage? Macaroni! I really hope he doesn't exhibit this type of behavior while performing for children.

When Macaroni was first introduced we figured this was a nice thing to do so the kids could become the centers of attention for awhile instead of the adults just chatting away at each other. But after a few minutes into his routine, even the adults were riled up with excitement and laughter! Macaroni did everything: hilarious one-liners, juggling, balloon animals, and magic tricks! He is an absolute professional and involved all the children into his act. He made sure each child left with a balloon sculpture and even stayed a little late to make sure no one was missed. Macaroni is one of the most entertaining performers I have ever seen, and I have seen my fair share of well-regarded professionals! I may have some kids of my own just so I can book him!

I really wish I read these reviews ahead of time. Two stars is pretty generous. I'll start with the…read morepositives: the balloon arch order did happen and it looked fine. Plus considering that I placed this balloon arch order last minute was a blessing. The negatives: I was told after I placed my order that I had to pay an extra $225 fee for an early set up. The order itself was pricey to begin with so it was disappointing that the original quote didn't include this for the get-go. Then the day of the delivery, their driver went to the wrong address so the order was late. I requested an itemized receipt for the charges, that way I can submit my expense report. It's been over two weeks and a number of e-mails later and I still never received the receipt. I guess there is no rush on their end because they were already paid via Venmo. I really hope that NYC Balloons reads this so they can improve on their service going forward. I don't think I will use their service again which is too bad because I like to support local businesses.

I paid $807.53 for a balloon arch and did not get what I ordered. I posted a picture to show just how badly Jeff Hersh and his team messed up with the order. He promised that he would be able to produce the arch he was shown, but still managed to somehow get it wrong. It is no wonder he refused to answer my questions regarding his company's refund policies prior to my credit card purchase of the arch. His staff showed up to the event unprepared with plain balloons (I paid extra for "pearl" balloons). I contacted him three times with regards to getting a refund since he failed to deliver the "pearl" balloons and the type of arch that I purchased. Every time he said to wait one week for the refund process to go through. It is nearly 2 months after the event and I am not expecting him to deliver on his promised refund. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs. Stay away from this business.

More often to NY & LI families for Bar Mitzvah's, & Weddings. The first Touch of Class party I attended in 1999 was at a Sachs 5h Ave in Huntington, LI, where the founder Sherry Schweitzer was donating catering to the 1 in 9 Foundation. The drinks were plentiful and H'orderves were in abundance and original. A Touch of Class also hosted an event for our local banking association for an annual party, and it was the best we have had, with a gambling theme that brought out the fun in the entire crowd. Will look for photos of me with the host, will post more when I find them. In the know on the top city venues to Long Island and even a few upstate Mansions they can book a location, provide invitations, themes, decor, flowers, catering, music and photography for any event. They have 20 +years of experience regionally and book the best of the best when needed, and can book best within someone's budget as well. A Touch of Class is a preferred vendor with various Long Island venues. I recommend Sherry for her pleasant demeanor, calm under pressure, and experience overall. I have known her since 1992 when we worked in the same building in Woodbury where their first store was, they are now in Syosset since 2000. A Touch of Class can also be called for simple summer parties and things such as kids inflatable slides, carnival type food stands and birthday entertainment also.
