Extremely upset with this place. It was my second time bringing clothes here. This shirt cost me over $100 at Nordstrom and was purchased brand new earlier this year. I brought it here the first time with a jacket to be dry cleaned. When I received the dirt tune I didn't notice it at first but had some faint red marks on the shit and wasn't sure where the new stains came from. I took this shirt back to get cleaned again along with 4 other shirts. I specifically should the owner the red marks and asked if he knew what caused them and could try to remove with out damaging the shirt.x when I picked up my shirt today I have two large white spots that look to be from either bleach or another chemical and some new red sports above the stains. I took the shirt back immediately to this shop and the man that owns the store tells me that he didn't cause those and he has no clue how the white spots got there. He said he doesn't use bleach. He was dismissive and said maybe when I put it in my car maybe something got on it. This shirt was hidden in between the other 4 shirts and in plastic. DO NOT take any. I've clothes to this dry cleaners. They may ruin your clothes and claim it wasn't caused by them. I am completely disappointed and won't be able to wear this nice shirt anymore. I occasionally come here when I need something for a uniform. He gets the job done but he's not an SME on uniform standards. I got my "dress top" done here and had him sow my Air Assault, Pathfinder, and Airborne badge on. I showed him what order and he told me they were the wrong order and showed my a photocopy of a pic of another uniform. They're all group 4 and can worn in any order you want. So there's an example of what I mean. Then he showed me a hanging 1SG's top and this 1SG had his Airborne badge below the flap of his pocket on the pocket itself which is not authorized. So as long as the owner is shown what the right thing is, he'll sow it correctly. read more

This dry cleaner is awesome! They specialize in military and 1st responder uniforms. They do alterations and very close to Los Alamitos Joint Forces Base. I took in my army dress uniform for a conversion from enlisted to officer. The price was very fair and the work quality was great. It was performed in a timely manner and when I received it, the uniform was pressed. I have since gone back and had them do additional alteration work for me on other items and have been happy each time. The son of the owner is rude. Interrupts when I was explaining my complaint. They melted my rank and my badge on two of my blouses. The guy did not apologize let alone offer to sew on my patches at no charge. I would provide the patches. He even got mad at me...I had to search for this place when they moved I know the other strip mall owners took their new location sign down. I felt bad and posted their new location on FB and spread the word of their new location. I have spent too much time and money at magic cleaners. I will have to go elsewhere. Came here for military alterations. It took only one day to see on some patches on my uniform and they did a really good job. This is the one the Los Alamitos PX recommends. They specialize a lot on military clothing and you can see them all on their racks when you walk in. They also do stuff for regular civilian clothing but I'm not sure about those details. I also have not done any dry cleaning service here. I got rank and nametapes fixed and sewn on one pair of jacket and hat for $14. The price seems pretty average or even better than some other places I've been. My friend did six pairs of uniforms to be sewn on for $84. If you're military and not sure where to go, this place knows what they're doing. read more

Not for military uniforms!! I gave the son of the owner clear and specific instructions AND I even brought the uniform regulation to sew a E8 cheveron... must have been just running gums for show. His response was yeah he knows what to do. I came back WITH a ruler and it was wayyyy off, not to mention that the chevrons weren't even the same spacing on each sleeve. Even better they argued with me that that is how they do it all the time. I reminded them that I came in with the instructions and regulations in the first place so it should have not been done incorrectly. They fixed it and I got back in 10 minutes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CLEANERS!! My husband and I have been doing business with these cleaners for 8 years and never had a problem until now. I dropped off 4 cashmere sweaters amongst some dresses and dress shirts. My husband picked them up on 8/29/17. I hadn't had time to put the cashmere sweaters away right away, so they just stayed in the plastic wrap, folded over the hangers with parchment paper in between them the way the cleaners had prepared them. Last night (9/17/17), I finally got around to taking them off of the hangers and out of the plastic to fold them and put them away in my armoire. As I begun to take each one out of the plastic and off of the hangers, I started noticing holes in my brand new cashmere sweaters. (I had only worn them once before sending them to the dry cleaners) They definitely didn't go in to the cleaners that way, so as you can imagine, I was shocked to see them in this state. This morning I drove to the location where they have always been, (where my husband picked them up from just 3 weeks prior) and low and behold, they had moved! Everything in the store was gone, the paint off of the windows except for a bridal gown sign, they were gone. Something told me to go in to the donut shop next door and ask them how long ago they moved. Luckily, the woman in the donut shop had papers with their new location on them. So I drove to their new location (located at 3451 Sausalito St., Los Alamitos, CA 90720) and when I walked in, there was a baby in a walker in there in the middle of the floor. The man finally came to the counter and was pleasant with me as I began to explain that I brought the sweaters here, my husband just picked them up, etc. The second I pulled the sweaters out and started showing him the holes in each one, he got SUPER defensive and started saying, "Oh no! I didn't do that! That's not my problem." I calmly explained to him that when I brought the sweaters in to him, there were no holes in them, and now hat we have picked them up, there are holes in every single one, so who's problem would that be? He kept saying, "That's not my problem. Maybe you hung them in the closet the wrong way. It's your problem." I explained to him again that these sweaters don't get hung in the closet AND that they have remained in the original packaging that he had packaged them in until last night. He just kept repeating, "That's not my problem. That's your problem." He then tells me to take them somewhere else to another cleaner or something, or - wait for it - "try to take me to court or something, but it's not my problem." Who says that?! Clearly he has had issues with other customers who have maybe threatened to take him to court, and knows that that's a long drawn out process. Anyway, needless to say, he did not handle this situation well at all, and is not someone who seems to value his long time customers. You have been warned. Their customer service is bad, namely because they feel like they have a monopoly on military uniforms... Horrible! For military uniforms you are better off having your 5 year old child sewing on your patches! Went back twice to get it fixed and they literally changed nothing. Asked them to hem a skirt and the literally pinched the fabric without making any cuts and just sewed it. I can't believe someone could consider themselves a Taylor when they couldn't even hem a skirt correctly. And the cherry on top is the prices, $50 for rank, services stripes and combat stripes that were crooked and they don't even dry clean them for that price. Don't waste your money, go to a dry cleaner with the regulation and explain how it needs to be done, it will save you time and money! read more

These guys are the WORST. I honestly can only think of one reason to go there, and that WAS the convenient location. They once charged me 58.00 for 5 shirt items. I went back and complained and they reduced my bill, no explanation..nothing. Several times I told them I was there to pick up my items and they argued that they didn't have them... Only to eventually relent and actually go FIND my items. Most recently, I was in to pick up my things and they were closing. No notice, no sign on the door of where they were moving to, they were moving THAT day and when I asked where they were moving and why no sign directing people to get their things, they guy tells me 'I don't have time for that!.' I drove by the next day, and several days later, and STILL no sign. They will never see me or my business again. They have no consideration for their customers. They do a marginal job at best and are incompetent. I will drive a little farther away to not have to deal with the crappy service. read more
