The burrata was packed with flavor and the basil foam was impressive. The octopus with potatoes hit perfectly. I already know I need to go back for the crab empanadas and the short rib croquettes soon. For our mains, my wife and I shared the short rib yucca gnocchi and the lobster and ricotta ravioli. The worst part was the speakers playing a happy birthday song that was extremely loud that even 2 other tables looked confused and disturbed by it. It played for well over a few minutes. The management was great and kept in touch leading up to my party (I booked almost a month in advance. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food (typical bar food with some flair) and the drinks were strong and some very unique! The atmosphere is fun, casual, a bit loud, but not over the top. I asked for extra salsa. When I got my bill I was surprised that it included a charge of $3.00 for a ramequin size portion of salsa for the spinach dip I ordered. When I asked for the manager, he stated that has been the policy for over a year, which I informed him that has never happened when I dined there or in other locations during the past year. It wasn't the extra charge that annoyed me, but the cheap nickel and diming of the customer from a somewhat pricey restaurant that offended me. Given the inflation that people are dealing with, this was a cheap money grab that the restaurant has initiated, like a small tax that is aimed at gouging from the public.
